Perryville was the townsite in the Tobucksy County, Choctaw Nation in the late 1840s. The townsite was named after James Perry, a Choctaw/Chickasaw citizen. A small battle took place here at Perryville during the civil war. Perryville was raided by the Union Army and destroying the town with fire. Nothing is left of the town, just an empty field.‪@forgottenoklahoma‬ ‪@okhistoricalsociety‬ ‪@ChoctawNationOK‬

I'm doing some genealogy research for a good friend. A slaveowner by the name of "Osborn Fisher" took care of a store here. The store belonged to someone by the name of "Ingram" and that is the person or family I'm interested in finding. There doesn't seem to be a lot of information on the internet about Perryville.
