What makes that interaction in Strangers of Paradise even more special for me personally is it clears up a oddity from Dissidia that has confused me up until now. Back in Dissidia Duocdecim if you had Gilgamesh fight Garland, Garland would show familiarity with Giglamesh despite not meeting him at all in the plot of Dissidia or FF1. Another neat detail I like about Giglamesh is there is enough details to form a timeline from Giglamesh's perspective of his travels, showing more thought was put into Greg than would one think.
Just binged all your lore vids. I really appreciate how detailed you are with not only the game and spinoff inclusions, but also origins and cross-interpretation. Great stuff.
@@DrakeyC 🤣🤣 To be fair, I've had my account since 2006 and I've only subbed to like 40 people or something like that. I've also only liked maybe 60 videos or so.
Another failure to represent the character of Gilgamesh, the oldest and greatest mythical hero in history. Oh man, Iraqis should represent Gilgamesh because they value him so much
Counting ports of the games and sequels with him, he's absent from II, III, VII, and X. And there's a Gilgamesh in XI but he's a pirate and definitely not the same guy.
