Never got over how much Kalecgos's VA is trying so much harder than Anveena's VA during KJ fight. Like its supposed to be this massive moment, he's giving his all, and some lady we've never heard of in game before is monotoning lol

Minor detail, Kalec's mortal form is a half-elf, not just a human, he's the only half-elf character in the game to use a unique model, other half-elves either use a human model or a blood elf model

The art in those older novels was so damn epic. I remember reading them as a kid and thinking: "God damn Tauren are fucking badass." The art style was a weird mix of anime fantasy and more gritty realism that I haven't seen in WoW since then.
Sunwell trilogy was my first interaction with Warcraft universe so she and kalec both are really iconic to me, im so happy that this aspect of magic is getting this much attention in dragonflight
Wouldn't be surprised if in the future, Blizzard decides to just say "Screw it" and makes Kalecgos go crazy from being injected with too much magic by the bad guys
I remember Kalecgos from TBC, but after that I never really saw him ingame. Only on a few occasions I was like "Hey it's Kalecgos!.... and his story has ended again...". I really hope he gets to shine in Dragonflight!
Why are the Sunwell Comics like straight up Castlevania? Like holy shit it SCREAMS Castlevania even more so than Castle Nathia does! From the character designs, to their lines, the plot and everything screams Dracula and Belmont ...
That moon ritual was really convenient. Weren't the aspect so much powerful because they get titan's powers? And if that ritual happen every 400 years, shouldn't there be more aspects? Or it only happen if the previous owners are dead

I remember seeing this character for the first time in the manga/comic back when I was in high school. Kinda disappointed that blizzard didn't do more with him over the years. Last I saw of him was the Dawn of the Aspects novel.

yup. I also take issue with his characterization of her 'murdering' them, when what she did was attempt to arrest them for treason against Dalaran (of which they were very guilty,) and killed any who resisted arrest.
@@Keira_Blackstone You say they when you mean the archmage and his conflicted alliances at that point. Majority of sunreavers had nothing to do with this ploy and were colleteral bystanders during the purge of Dalaran.

Honestly ever since I was young playing wotlk I always enjoyed Kalecgos. I’m borderline autistic for the dragons in WoW with the blue dragonflight being my favorite. I’m seriously hoping we get a lot more of him in dragonflight.
I've gotta say, one of my favorite parts of these videos is how you inject comedy into them. It adds so much to the videos that it makes them enjoyable to even some like me who isn't even into WoW.
Its a long shot but if dragonflight requires there to be new aspects made i think Thrall should be the new earth warden, khadgar should be the new aspect of magic., And Malfurion should be the new dreamer. NOt really sure who would be the new life binder would be but lorewalker cho would be amazing as the aspect of time.
One thing I noticed is that Kalecgos is the only *official* Aspect replacement I mean, think about it, Wrathion is a son of Deathwing and ome of rhe few Black Dragons left ,sure, but he hasn't been *officially* chosen to replace him Then we have Ysera who *still* has yet to be replaced or have someone chosen as a substitute at the least. Mainly because there are *no* interesting or I thibk even that many named Greed Dragons that are still alive Plus, eventually, Nozdormu will have to be replaced as he will inevitably turn into Murozond. Same as the Green Dragons, not many are both alive and significant enough to replace him.
I need to read some more of the books, I'm clearly missing out on a lot! I have the Warcraft Archive which is a collection of four books in one - apparently the earliest four - but I've not got around to the rest. Also, your editing is so good! I like the mix of dramatic recreations and recordings.
Okay, being 10 minutes into this video really shows just how badly WoW handles its storytelling. Most of the key character details are rarely ever in game and require reading outside materials. It would be fine if the books were simply novelizations or expansions of plot points from the game, but they aren’t as they are mandatory if you want to fully understand the overall story. Poor Kalec. He’s one of my favorite dragon characters and so much of his story is just not in the actual game.
Established titles is a known scam. They do not reserve rights to sell land in Scotland, and is not permitted by Scottish Parliament. The document you receive is a piece of paper, nothing more.
Getting money for a promo from Established Titles is a big nono. Very scammy business that basically sells you nothing for high prices and scam people into thinking they own 1sq foot (which they don't) and thus get the Lord title (which they don't). Promoting scammy businesses that are well documented over their foul nature is a bad look. Disappointed

You know, I love your videos, but you should honestly properly search info about your sponsors. Established Titles is a scam, nothing they say is true. You can't become a lord that way and propably is just milking money for themselves because I have not seen any prove they plant trees, and what about the land you "bought", buying a land isn't that simple... So you just bought a worthless piece of paper you could've made yourself for free.. Please stop giving them any free advertising and watch the videos calling them out, and remove that ad for your own good.

Ok, so there is "The Embrace" event which allows dragons to become aspects, it happens every 430 and the last time it happened was during cataclysm. Isn't choosing a new black Dragonflight aspect big chunk of the next expansion's story? I don't think 430 years have passed since cata

The new one gives me uncanny valley vibes. I guess it really emphasizes the human-elf hybrid that he's supposed to be, but afaik this is the first time a model as accurately depicted that. So to me it's like a whole new character whereas with other NPC model updates I can understand the progression
