11:06 "I like to think that the taming and riding of Felines-" is probably a carryover from the High Elves, since Lynxes are present in most areas of the Eversong Forest. Maybe a few were brought over to the Arathi and magically altered over several generations (I think before the First War, some mages did magically experiment with crops and there are such things as Gilneas' Harvest Witches) Also, Ascension is really weird when you stop and think about it. Like, the Nerubians have the Spider Priests that stand on four legs, the Scarab Lords, and more interesting evolutionary paths and Ascension is... 'Skinny Four-Armed Bipedal about as tall as a Zandalari that can't even do half the shit the actual Nerubians can.' The only way this could make any sense is if they were planning on making them an Allied Race. Otherwise, this might genuinely be the stupidest path Xal'atath could have possibly taken in terms of evolution, which is impressive considering the Old Gods had the Faceless, Aqir, and Silithids to all draw inspiration (and even Genetic Material) from.
Azeroth is both light/dark, Belethor having light/dark flips, the black blood/azerite, Didn't Xalatath say something about the black blood being HER power? Have we ever seen Xalatath and Azeroth in the same room?
So basically this is all just kid friendly 40k? Sounds kinda cool.... oh god this entire story is gonna be analogy of 40k isn't it? The Void is chaos. And the people of hallowfall are just the imperium being attacked from all sides by various traitors and xenos?
Isnt an expansion changing or affecting all of wows lore a bad thing? The reason we dislike shadowlands? Since all it did was make any old lore somehow all part of (( the jailers plans 🤷♂️ ))
Don’t forget about the avaloren leak that ended up being debunked. I’m of the opinion that isn’t truly a fake, just a project that is farther down the pipeline and will now be changed so that initial look isn’t the one they’re going with but the theme will be the same
When i first saw the announcement about the earthen i was somewhat indifferent. I did not dislike them but i also wasnt hyped, but i have to say with the simple but meaningful side quests i learned to love 'em.
I always thought she was one of the old gods sent to Azeroth first but was fatally wounded on entry and was then devoured by the others, only a fragment of her psych remained which was sealed into the blade for future purposes.
I can see how some would compare to Warhammer, but I feel a much better fit is the Seanchan empire from Wheel of Time. Id love for there to be a "The return" part of the story where these badass war veterans come back and claim the Eastern Kingdoms for the Emperor
No quite literally this is the best storyline I’ve seen since legion, like fuck off shadowlands fuck off dragonflight. The concept of overlapping planes of reality would explain so much shit throughout the years but I fear that would be much too big brained for those suckers
gawd this lore sucks. It's depressing that blizzard hasn't written anything interesting for warcraft lore since Wrath Gate. Hell, it might be just in general that there hasn't been any interesting blizzard lore since wrathgate because diablo and starcraft lore have both sucked pretty hard in the last 20 years too. Maybe they should hire, like, a writer? A good one. One that won't sexually harass people and that they won't let their execs sexually harass. Platinum this isn't meant as a reflection on you. I love pretty much all your work which is why I still gave this a chance. It's just...it's so uninteresting even with your amazing presentation. Looking forward to your continued work on the 40k channel.
Would be so freaking badass if Kyron is the actual Emperor. Leading his people, incognito mode to outsiders. Right under our noses. With what we know right now.. it doesn't make much sense.. but it would be sooo cool. But the actual emperor is probably some brain washed "by the holy flame" zealot that thinks he should rule entire Azeroth into the great light crusade and loves being worshiped as a god. They always do, sadly. All except the Emperor of Mankind (40k). For the Emperor!
