I am currently planning my project (full nut and bolt restore) for my defender 90 single cab pick and will be coming to you for all my parts. A set of your Galvanised side steps will look amazing on my build. They will match perfectly to my future purchases with you (Galv chassis, M57 conversion kit, AP big brake kit, leather interior) every bit of help would be much appreciated. Building a 90 for my youngest, young driver, to learn in. The more metal around him, the better! Make sure you send them with big set of Maker badges. He will be showing off!
@@wearemahker thanks. An ex Welsh sheep farmers 200 90 pick up. Lived in southern Ireland for years and then 11 years abandoned in a cow shed. Stinking, rotten, horrible! New Richards chassis, protector parts bulkhead, and an awful lot of cleaning and restoration of just about every other steel parts. A head melter! Coming along well but it's slow painful work. Having retired from 30 years mucking about with more than a few of these, I said I would not do another (having rebuilt my 40 years young 110 , 2 years ago). Definitely a more young persons game! Jc
New Defender 110 owner, would like to make upgrade and match the side rail to the side step I plan to purchase and keep same look through both items would be a great long term addition to the 110. Thanks

Although I am the wrong side of 50 I’m just not old or infirm enough to need side steps yet and I already have some amazing stainless rock sliders custom made for me by Scott, but rest assured when I do need some I will give you a shout. Also as I won the Mk1 drive flange in the last competition, (new ones L 👁️ 👁️ k even better), it’s only fair I shouldn’t enter this competition. Black Stainless - hotness. Why? Sally's an '87 Ninety hardtop ex radio truck that's got a 2019 Corvette Grand Sport LT1 dry sump 6.2L and full drivetrain upgrade under a nasty-ass original housepaint camo paint job. A set of stylish side steps will force me to organize my ass and replace all the bodywork with new bits - and figure out what a re-designed camo will look like.
One of the side steps on my 90 is damaged, so a new set would be great. Problem is, I'm in Australia, so I guess that would keep me out of the lucky draw.
I should get those galvanized SIDE STEPS because I’ve just finished a 40.000Km overland journey Costa Rica to Alaska and back with my 2012 Defender 130 and my stock steps are completely rusted 💀
Nice put new black side steps on about 6 years ago. they may be due a tidy up this year ? unless they are getting replaced. do you do galv with ally chequer or does it need the plastic. Black 90 with chequer sills. Just bedding the head gasket rebuild back in, hopefully my Diy job is just getting rid of spillage residue. Injectors checked out ok ta for advice. must watch rest of vlog now.

My father in law has a 90 and been in bits for a very long time and he wants to start restoring it and these steps would be great start to galvanise everything on his 90!!

Definitely going to put a set of those side rails on my list, galvanise chassis and bulkhead is at the top of my list would love to win the side step as they would look f****** awesome on my 90 station wagon 👌🏻👍🏻
