Tried just that, and no. It's like when the champs are on free rotation, they get a special little icon in the corner that goes away when your membership is expired.

You don't actually own them, just unlock them like free rotation. If you cancel your membership they're locked again.

Dude me neither like wtf. Just giving away all champions just like that? They just completely devalued champions. Made them feel down right worthless.

@@theNimboo yep even as someone who has played for 12 years i remember the grind it took to earn all the champions like 3 years back then ( i played very little compaired to now ) i think its a slap in the face. SARCASM -> ya know it just had to give all champs it couldnt just be like a boost of blue essence. it couldnt be just a seperate set of missions to get hextech chest. it just had to be HEY ALL CHAMPS FOR FREE IF U ALREADY KINDA PLAY XBOX. and wtf is this animation its at least 20x better then the 2023 seasonal animation. that just shows you how many people are actually working on rito's league of legends we have 4 rats,10 hamsters, a college kid that can run unreal engine 4 and 150 skin designers. and 1 fkn monitor.

"i had to pull grass with my bare hands to build my legacy, why should children have it all done for them? they should suffer just like i did" *angy noises* like come on, i had to grind for it too, but just because we had it rough doesnt mean new players should have it too, the fun of playing league isnt on grinding to unlock every single champion, not to mention league is constantly evolving and changing, people were pissed when dragon and baron timers were added in the game for the same reason, how dare they make this game easier and more accessible for newer players while also taking the burden of having to write down timers or memorizing them like the good old days

Not sure if it makes a difference to you but whenever the deal is over they don't get to keep the champions.

They ignore their community. New update completely ignored things like being able to see teammate's usernames for match history lookups. They don't listen to anything. Until they have to.

It's not free, you still pay your monthly gamepass.

you only get them while the game pass is active, cant buy skins for the champ or do anything but play them to try and then buy them so it isnt super ridicoulus

LoR has a lot of content, it lacks of marketing It's probably true that Valorant is their golden egg right now but it doesnt mean they dont care about the other games They dont decide how much effort they put in the game based on the age of players lol

As for the age thing, it's not directly about just the age, it's what the age says about the playerbase. League was the popular game of the last decade and for that generation of teens and young adults. Gaming has become more mainstream over the last decade and the entry age of becoming a "gamer" went from early/mid teens to late elementary school. And unlike last decade's generation; kids, teens, and young adults these days enjoy shooters over moba's , a.k.a. the next generation of spending players and the players with the highest amount of game hours because they don't have work, hence the high priority on Valorant.

No, LoL isnt pay to win. Owning all champs doesnt provide you any advantage in League of Legends, iron or challenger. LoL is designed to make you play a few champs and play them well and a lot, so having all champs change nothing

@@yabara_ Really the question is, how long will that last... as the game gets more and more complex and more new champs come out with extremely bloated kits (and more hard and soft counters get added as a result)... will the idea that one tricks can still reach Challenger hold true? Or is there a future where players have to diversify if they want to play at any level outside of casual gamemodes (which League already has very few of).
