I love how well they tie these into the actual game experience. Like Yoru not getting any playtime.

I just realized Neon's trailer and this cinematic was happening at the same time. Neon was watching phnx battle the Max Bot from her room then later on Sage came in and said everyone was waiting.

I impressed how Kill joy and Raze literally made a death machine out of a cleaning bot in like 30 minutes

Can we just talk about how stupidly strong the MAX bot was? The thing defeated Phoenix, Kayo, effortlessly obliterated duos of agents, and still managed to stand its ground against like 6 agents at the same time, got crushed by the sage wall, and still had enough left to shoot cypher in the face. We can see it has the capability to turn utility against their original user, has an insurmountable hp stat, and wields an arsenal of dangerous weapons that can output a stupid amount of firepower. Not only that, but it can clear environmental hazards like the phoenix molly. Balanced.

That’s the yoru buff right there. Earning additional creds for every dead ally

i love how sova and sage have limited screentime but still manages to look really cool. i literally screamed when they appeared. also, sova reminds me of a fluffy white owl

Rewatching and remembering how adorable it is when Yoru says "my money is on the machine" and Jett just shakes her head and calls out to Phoenix "You got this, pretty boy!" 🥺 Jett and Phoenix are literally one of the most wholesome rivalries of all time, constantly lifting eachother up, I love it.

I like how reminiscent the characters of Yoru and Cypher are in this. Cypher being separate from the team, not doing anything and dying and Yoru going separate from the team to make profits. (Money here, flank kills in game).

You might have missed this but sage puts up her wall at 3:40 and cypher gets shot a little after 4:20 witch is 40 seconds witch is how long sages wall lasts

I always thought Jett was going to to be the "face" of Valorant, but Phoenix is just so damn charismatic I can see why they use him so much. His interactions with the others are so fun and natural and when they're together like this he really feels like the heart of the team. The voice actor brings out so much character it's amazing.

You know what would be cool? Making this into a gamemode where 5 people fight Max Bot at the same time. It would be like Doom Bot in League, but better.
