Im really hoping what happened was they took time to pursue singing, acting and dancing lessons and realized shes just not talented in those areas but its too late to cancel. Because every snippet i see, lackluster performance and its a problem if the audience becomes more mesmerized by your background dancers than you and/or the storyline. Either continue with classes until shes ready to go public again or quit altogether for everyone's sake. An under prepared performance sucks for everyone.

As an European I just kind of always assumed she just aced the strategy of getting famous from shock value and people just kept giving her attention afterwards because she knew how to keep people coming back and because she was rich and beautiful and leaning into her scandals. I always assumed while people internationally of course know her, she just sort of exists in the public conciousness but there are some who follow her simply for being the image of someone rich and successful, she is simply the most popular placeholder of a rich hot famous person. I think for so many people its more about if you dont follow her, you arent following the thing that the masses declared as the best thing, like she as herself isnt that special or interesting but the buzz around her is. Its not that most people specifically love her, in fact they dont, following her is just sort of the thing to do because she is so, so famous.

She pays fees to subsidize the extra miles she puts on outside of the limit.

Oh my god I still don’t understand what the big deal was. Who doesn’t photoshop their family photos to send out to the friends and family (or in this case, the world)? My boyfriend’s aunt and uncle sent out a Christmas card photo with one of their children POORLY photoshopped in. I didn’t assume he was dead and they were hiding this news from every one. The fact that she actually apologized is what really makes me mad. Who is she saying sorry to? Who was harmed by that photo? We all know how she had nothing to apologize for because of what she was going through. She knew that at that time, of course. Yet, she still apologized as if she did something wrong or caused anyone even a moment of sadness. It is gross.

I was thinking my whole life. Once I got 110lbs, I never had to worry. Then I turned 25 and sometime after that I had gained 20lbs. It’s so embarrassing that I didn’t even realize it. I was so used to being not worrying and eating up the “you’re so lucky” comments that I just didn’t realize it. Now I’m 35 and horrified being 135lbs at 5’1”. I seriously always appreciated that Kim K embraced a fuller figure, even though I’ll never have the boobs to be considered that. But even thin I could never understand how women had a thigh gab and like most young women then I was obsessed with having one. Now that I’ve gained weight they are big on being skinny. Everyone’s skinny. It’s horrible obsessing over weight. Everyday I try and think of what the hell happened to me. What changed. Why did this happen. I see a seriously fat pig in the mirror and I wish I could either lose 30lbs quickly or not see what I see in the mirror. I just started eating less and exercising but I mean it’s killing not to know right now that I’m doing it right. I’m afraid a month from now I’ll be exactly the same weight and still doing it wrong. It really sucks. It’s not easy being older. I’d give anything to be a troubled young woman in my early 20’s who’s wasting her life and being reckless and doesn’t even have a job or a car anymore and who was kicked out of the house. Now that was a girl with no problems. She didn’t know in a decade she’d be freaking out about wrinkles and weight and diets and fertility and her moles and driving slower and so on and so on. Turning 35 was a nail in my coffin! I wish the best for you in your recovery and just know you’re not alone.

@@CoastDreamz it is. one example i know of is bts. i know they’ve rented a private plane before but they also fly commercial all the time. i get that having your own plane is more convenient and all that but it’s still a choice edit: i should add that i don’t care about this issue that much. it’s only a few people in the world that can afford to do this anyway. it’d be a bigger problem if everyone had their own plane flying around. there should be a crazy tax on it though, if there isn’t already
