This is the most challenging video I've made so far, I drove myself insane. I kept changing it cause it wasn't the way I envisioned it. I almost gave up but I'm finally satisfied with it now. It’s a shame we don’t know what Lan Zhan really did after Wei Ying died. I wish the novel gave us more detail. Since there aren’t any scenes during the time gap, I had to get creative. This video is about LZ playing inquiry and thinking about all the moments he treasured and moments he regretted with Wei Ying. In the end of the video, he finally meets Wei Ying again and never lets him go.

He was locked up at the cold pond for 3years, thats why he only search for Wei ying after 3 years.. Thats what Zewu Jun told to Wei Ying when he ask about the whip he saw to Lan Zhan

I really wish there was a spin off that was in LWJ's perspective, it would be bloody depressing, but I still want to see things from his perspective for once. I actually have a bit of a headcanon that LWJ has an inner monologue, and it's just him shouting profanities at everyone else's stupidity 😂😂😂

kirishima the bakugou fanboy right if we could hear his thoughts it would be great I know everyone wants a season two but I don’t think it would top the first one.. I think the drama seemed more romantic and more emotional than the book it’s like we don’t need kissing scenes you can see in their eyes that lan loves wei and in wei Eyesi I know he like lan but is puzzled on lan feelings toward him so it’s like back and forth then the end proves they come together dam such a beautiful story wish everyone in the world would feel this show and not bash humans who love who they want to and not who they should.. this show brings out our feeling it did for me to really see love between two humans now the book lan just wanted wei lol you know what I mean.

@@kirishimathebakugoufanboy7689 LWJ and LXC are walking the paths of their father. LWJ falls in love w/ WWX who defies all of the teachings of GUSU [the way his mum would have killed a GUSU teacher]. His father took her and hid her in that home in which LWJ wanted to take WWX and hide him and keep him there. At which in time he did in some way - ultimately he succeeding in keeping him. Ultimately for LWJ it worked out in a happy ending since he had a happy ending. However, it didn't b/c when he defied all the rules like his father he went into seclusion just like his father did - he did it for 16 yrs in the book. In the drama it was 13 yrs w/ punishment for 3yrs. So...he followed the path of his father. LXC was similar and his was even more tragic - b/c his was through his relationship w/ Meng Yao. Atlhough, not as deeply expressed. It's how the relationship ended. The way their relationship became intertwined showed a strong bond. Meng Yao ONLY trusted and respected LXC and I feel that LXC truly believed Meng Yao to be willing to die w/ him. Even at he end of the drama Meng Yao would NEVER have killed LXC [he just wanted to see if LXC truly loved him] then he saved him. Meng Yao I think felt that the only person who loved him aside from Qin Su [even before her] was LXC. Anyway, after all this... we see that LXC goes into seclusion like his father. The death of Mengyao destroyed him. I always felt like if there was any coming back for Mengyao maybe...but there would never be and Mengyao was evil. Maybe if that time he stayed and NEVER went back to Nie Mingjue. Maybe...Maybe if he after NM he went to GUSU...LXC would NEVER allow anyone at CR to speak that way about him. He would be seen as equal to LXC and maybe even given a leadership status there -- not a glorified butler title like at Nie Mingjue's place. I feel for MengYao b/c he endured a lot and came out warped. Not as warped as Xue Yue --- who suffered as much and he was to far ruined - like Mo Xuanyo. I felt MengYao could have been saved. XY could never been saved --- he was done; he was mentally damaged. He became a psychopath. I felt if someone had killed Mengyao's father sometime when Nie Mingjue was still alive all would have been good.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji had their fair share of pain and sufferings. Wei Wuxian suffered the misjudgement and cruelty of the world while Lan Wangji suffered and mourned for Wei Ying's death. Both novel and other adaptations gave them their well deserved happy ending after everything they went through. Probably one of the best stories I have read in my entire life.

uuurrrghhhhhhhhhhhhh...................now u very make me crying here ....this song he sing it show so much EMOTIONAL .this song so touching by him Lan Zhan who love a man that who could forget from his heart from top to bottom who realized that this is the man i feel in love and i want to give him everything i know it sad after Wei Ying died who have been looking for him and time he with Wei ying i couldn't imagine how he feel not to mention he said in the Interview that his FEELING it not ACTING it a REAL....i pretty sure he very feel the love while he shooting this drama no wondering he so flirting around with Wei Ying BTS but i can't blame him either Xiao Zhan just to beautiful inside out.....he did his deed so Wei ying is very LUCKY to have side by side and protected all the way what can i said it a hubby job!!

This is sad yet beautiful confession from Lan Zhan to his Wei Ying..😢 the way he love, protect and heal Wei Ying..the way he smile and crying for Wei Ying..the way he fall deep into heartbroken, regret, sadness and longing for Wei Ying after his death..the way he still waiting and searching for his true soulmate and when he finally found him again..he protects him at all costs..🥲 the second chance he got, he will not waste it..🥹 ahhhhh i love Wangxian so so much🤧

I will also not forget. Never in life. Even if I have amnesia or I lose all my memories, I will still never forget MDZS, CQL, MDZS audio drama, MDZS manhua, MDZS donghua, MDZS Q, MDZS fanarts, MDZS fanfics, etc. Oh and this video.

Your fan video did justice to Lan Wangji. I love everything about the "Untamed" and "Mo Dao Ah Shi", music compositions, and the other media formats. This story touched so many of us because it's core messages are realistically relatable despite it being fiction. With humanity being such a cruel beast, we hurt and suffer along with the two main characters because we can understand the stigma of the injustice and cruelty they experience. We cheer and scream for their triumph because we see the purity of their hearts. Because Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo brought life to these characters (no one else could have been better for the roles, and that goes for the supporting cast also), we had an opportunity to experience one of the best stories ever written. I am not a BL enthusiasts (nothing against either), but this story gives someone like me a new perspective on love, compassion, acceptance, loyalty, ethics, righteousness, and so many other things lacking in today's society. I am an avid reader and this book is now my favorite of everthing I ever read. You have done a really good job relaying humor and emotion in many of your videos honoring story. Kudos to you!😚

Thank you to The Untamed for giving me something to sob over everyday and become an emotion wreck while also being able to laugh and scream throughout this show and cry tears of joy at the same time. Thank you for introducing me to two amazing idols/actors and being able to stan two amazing idol boy-bands. Thank you for introducing me to the bl genre and much more shows that these actors have acted in. Thank you for letting me fangirl over a fiction world and an intimate novel for more over a year. Thank you for raising my standards in men (seriously). I owe it all to his one drama. Thank you. 🥺

This is so pretty and the song is wonderful. I love when the music goes more intense and the pace of the editing is goes faster and matches well with it. The one thing I would have loved is to include Wang Ji actually scream "Wei Ying" when he fell and not just see the visual since there was so much emotion in his voice.
