Okay JGY at .57 to 1.00 is genuinely terrifying. This is a great edit though! Especially feeling it after fatal journey lol. JGY deserves everything he got.
I do have some level of sympathy for him given his background, but yeah, there's really no way to excuse the terrible things he did to so many innocent people. If I were in NHS's shoes I would have wanted to end him with extreme prejudice too.
Fatal Journey ripped me apart! JGY giving him that song of "Clarity" knowing full well it was faulty and it's faults actually would make NMJ worse putting them ALL in danger...I was so done with JGY at that point.
I love this so much, it feels like I've memorized each lyric/scene. You've paired it all up thoughtfully. I'm particularly a fan of the part where JGY spits blood, perfectly fitting with the lyrics. And cutting back to Nie Huaisang each time it mentions queen or glory is fantastic. All the little editing bits are great too, the fan, the colour glitches. 🤩😍
I will always feel bad for all that happened in JGY’s past that built him into the Uber defensive and vengeful spirit he became. I know I’d want to avenge myself & my mother too, but he truly used & harmed innocents in his methods of revenge and THAT is not okay. THAT keeps the circle going endlessly. Little bro was, of course, doomed to be vengeful himself one day because he loved his eldest brother and father despite their dismissal and cruelty towards JGY. JGY was there always looking after him the best he could, but it never overshadowed his inherent love for his eldest brother & father. So, using innocents or not to exact his revenge, JGY was gonna get taken down by the baby regardless. Both younger men were/are WAY too much for this narrow world. No clan members anywhere could pretend to match wits with either of them! They are both evil self-serving geniuses that, no matter what it costs others, feel their actions were justified. The closest the world had to figure things out was a one Yiling Patriarch that no one but Lan Zhan wanted around and even HE had a hell of a time unraveling these two demons’ plans & he had to make the little one know he was on to him in the end, like, “Yo! I know you wanted the job my man’s got, but you he’s got it and you ain’t ever gonna have it. If anything pops off I’mma know it was yo ass and I’mma kill your head shakin’ ass myself”. [paraphrased AF, but whatevs....🤷🏽♀️] At the end of the day both young men were EQUALLY horrible. It just turned out that one and not the other had some scores to settle first and got the ball rolling. Seriously, the world lost a chance to grow leaps and bounds with these two and WWX at the helm! They are the greatest minds that world has ever known. Too bad they are all more than a little effed UP! They can’t ALL have a Lan Zhan.🤣😂🤣
