I just wonder what would have happened if Jiang yan li and Jin Xixian didn't die and Wei Ying actually got to be in Jin Lings life. Like they'd be inseparable bruh I'm in tears this is so good.
That's what I needed... They spent some time bonding, A-Xian taught Jin Ling some tricks, they saved each other many times... Their relationship development is one of the best in the show and I love it...
It hurts SO much to know that, had everything been different, had his parents LIVED, Jin Ling would have called Wei "Uncle" too...they would have formed a much DIFFERENT bond than the one they did. I love that they DID grow a bond together, even when Jin found out who Wei was(and before the truth came out), there were MANY times he protected him and even defended him. They have a bond that I ADORE, but they would have had a DIFFERENT, STRONGER bond...imagine all the mischief they would have gotten into together...sneaking out, playing tricks and pranks on everyone(mainly JC), Wei would have taught him how to use a bow and a sword...there is just SO much of "what could've been" that it just HURTS! " I have a nephew!" That line, the excitement on his face...Wei would have been the BEST Uncle! I like to think that Wei went and visited Jin Ling often after everything was finished...building up that Uncle/Nephew bond like he SOULD'VE gotten the chance to do! I wonder if Jin even knows that Wei is the one who named him...does he know? Did JC ever tell him? Did he even ever ask? Like I know JC wouldn't have told him during the years when Wei was the villain in their life, like obviously Jin Ling would've been CRUSHED if he was told, at that time, that he was named after the man who killed his parents, but like...afterwards...after the truth came out and everything calmed down...I wonder if he even knows. Idk...it just isn't fair that Wei missed out on SO much with Jin all because of a misunderstanding...
Ikr if all the chaos didn't happened Weiying and Jinling would have a very beautiful bond, I can totally see those two being playful around specially to JC, and when he accuse them (just like what he used to do when they were only the 3 jiang siblings) Yanli would let them be, she would be defending JinLing with "he is just a child, it's ok". So agree with you about the phrase "What could've been" in this series hurts so much 💔 I also have the doubt if JinLing knew that Wei Ying is his uncle, I really doubt when WeiYing was death JC said that WWX was his brother considering he was always angry about WWX's actions related to the demonic cultivation and accusing him of how much chaos he did as the Yiling Patriarch
Poor jin ling one uncle he hated all his life in accusing for his parents death One uncle lack in expressing his true feeling and One uncle he respected now is responsible for his parents death
@@lancyshah4829 The drama didn't changed it though. Jin Guangyao did explained that how would he would've guess that Wei Wuxian would lost control? Although heavily implied that another flute sound made Wen Ning killed him but the other flute sound made Wen Ning killed others after he killed Jin Zixuan. I might be wrong but I guess I prefer to see it that way. Should've stay true to the story. Although noted that he didn't killed him deliberately, it was an accident. He lost control. Can say it was like someone driving a race car thinking his driving skills is really great. In reality maybe his skill is good but accident happened if you're out of focus for a second. That one second caused a death of someone and it was his brother in law.
