Curious, has anyone seen the one time account adjustment applied to their student loan account or received communication via paper mail about this?

Thousands of people have had it applied. But all of them got their loans forgiven. There hasn’t been anyone that has gotten it applied just to be updated that they’re closer to forgiveness.

I applied for the one time account adjustment, updated my PSLF, and consolidated, and suddenly in December 2023 when I checked my accounts for a lark, my student loans in MOHELA were reduced by $80k. This made my total balance $17k. I never received notification about why that happened, and I never asked because it was either a mistake, some rule I can't figure out, or a miracle and I didn't want them to fix it if it was actually a mistake.

I consolidated it went thru my credit score actually went up but the new loan is not on there yet i assume when the department of education loan gets on there it might go down cause its gone be a new loan and new debt

I have trouble understand the gentleman. He needs to speak slower and stop all the modulation. Example: when he says, "something needs to change", is perfect. No syllables are lost. Hope this helps.
