Dude you are talented. You make some incredible videos. Glad I found your channel a long time ago and have watched everything you've shared. Awesome vid here!
Yes if you liked Hitler and Trump... then you'd love Reed. He got booed at every tournament. because he's a cheater. The biggest cheater is sports history.
What a tremendous video, learned more about him with all these details. I can't watch things for more than 5 minutes and watched all the way through. I typically defend Patrick Reed in his PGAT career. At the end of the day, his cockiness is on the course and around competition. He's not a "boys club" favorite good ol boy type character and he puts performance and competition at the top of the priority list. Doesn't surprise me he ran into some suppression because the PGAT acts a lot like a boys club.
And playing in the PGA Championship yet another T time that is a 1pm Thursday and 730am Friday. The PGA tour is rigged and so are the majors. And you can tell by the T times they give to people they like vs who they don't.
@@cameronclark1845 quite a few other times we've seen him either being dishonest or outright cheating as well. Ball in the tree, the imaginary embedded ball that somehow bounced then became embedded. Not to mention his ex-college teammates accusations. A reputation this poor is 100% earned.
Great video again! Such great work and honest reporting. You are a true journalist. I just love watching Patrick crush the haters. He is the Ryder Cup King!
He doesn't cheat dude....that the narrative the MSM wants because he was dubbed Captain America and everything America is being attacked....yet the idiot Sheeple are too stupid to figure that reality out
ability and character are not the same thing. You can not deny his lack of character - any more than you can accept his ability. Nevertheless, it is always tragic when you see a family torn apart like that.
After he got caught on camera improving his Lie with his practice back swings in a sand trap. Golf on course reporterPeter Kostis, said “I’ve seen Patrick improve his Lie many times”
I don't care how many different angles there are, the sand moved. Even if he didn't improve his lie (the videos prove he did), he should have been penalized for grounding his club in a hazard.
Looks like he got caught doing something that most of the pros on the tour do regularly. Obviously the guy is an asshole and there is a reason so many people dislike him personally but it seems incredibly suspicious that shortly after he starts getting into fights with some reporters that all of the negative coverage comes out. The fact that the fights with reporters hit its peak right around the time they got involved in what are clearly serious family conflicts would make one think that a journalist crossed the line. Tabloid media is absolutely ruthless and it is disgusting the lengths they will go to in order to perpetuate or straight up invent a story. Has the guy cheated? Absolutely and he was penalized for it. Is he on outlier in that sense? Absolutely not, watch enough golf with the same level of focus on any other player over 10+ years and I guarantee you that you will find multiple instances of them improving their lie. Only difference is that they didn’t piss off the media and have people focused on finding ways to hurt their career. I mean just look at how Tiger tried to improve his lie down in Florida. His wife had an even more egregious example when she shattered the back window to improve the angle she has on Tigers head. Honestly I get why people dislike the guy. He comes off as a complete asshole but if people can’t see the insane corruption and bias of how the PGA and media tried so hard to cover up Tigers behavior when he was the golden boy of golf. When contrasted with how hard they went out of their way to discredit Patrick. You might need Patrick’s help with getting your head out of the sand.
@@meowfaceification I agree that Tiger was the golden boy and the media basically gave him a free pass. Michael Jordan got the same special treatment, that's what happens when your great. Patrick Reed isn't a Likeable person, He got kicked off his college golf team, his teammates wanted him kicked off. He doesn't talk to his parents or Sister. So many examples of him being a DB.
Once a cheater, always a cheater. Have random checks on his clubs whether they’re legal or not. Plus check the golf balls he uses…. within regulation or have they been tampered with.
@@SnowboardJedi no question about it - that is just like the reputation of cheater - it will never go away. A truly toxic person historically these types of stories seldom end well.
I like his villainous ways on the course but I do not like how he handles his family. Great video though, hope to see some more. I’ve watched all of the others so far I think 😂
@@JOHNJOHN__ I didn’t see the ‘cheating’ part yet to condemn it. I like villian character types but no one like a cheater. So again, find something better to do
@@SnowboardJedi I don't know about that.. Just because most golf fans (including me and you) idolize Tiger, it doesn't necessarily mean all professional golfers think of him that way too. I don't follow Patrick Reed much, except for his cheating allegations, but I don't think PReed is the type of player who would be happy if after the loss he has to answer "how do you think this will affect Tiger's legacy". No slight to PReed, I'd hate that if I were him too.
I actually can deny his talent somewhat. I’m only here to say he made the name he has as a cheater. Do others on tour cheat, probably but not to the blatant extent that he does.
He's not Captain America. That's a name he tried to give himself. He's more like the American Monty some have tagged him, but that seems a bit unfair to Monty too
@@mikemilburn4313 That is absolutely where it came from. He wanted that name, asked media to call him that, etc. This is not a secret at all. He's a joke, that name is a joke, and it's a self-gloss, which never work out. American Monty is a lot more accurate
@@SpartanPridePod Well hating Reed is fine, but lying about how the nickname came about isn’t. The fans started chanting it at the 2016 Ryder cup when defeated Rory. Simple as that. I was there and witnessed it. He was never referred to as Captain America until that event. Look it up if you like.
@@mikemilburn4313 He came up with the name. He spread it. He self-glossed. That's a long time ago now. He's American Monty, and that's not really fair to ole Monty bc he never cheated like Reed, or as often. Good stuff
I understand, but in the golfing world on RU-vid especially what I do there’s so many thumbnails of just the golfer I’m talking about, so adding a little something different I think it stands out, I might be wrong, more people might comment about it but gonna give it a go see what the response is, thanks for the feedback though always trying new things
@@mitchellblades Many of the golf channels I follow use this style and I’m sure there’s good reason for that (it must work). But personally I prefer channels who create their own style, and it makes it stand out from the pack. Here’s one example from the basketball world: m.ru-vid.com
What a loser. From day one. I try to be the positive guy these days. But I can't help but hate Reed...No, despise him. Once a thief and cheat, always a thief and cheat.
Patrick Reed is the biggest cheater in sports. There is no 2nd place. At that event at Ka;paulua on the 18th hole there were chant's of cheater...cheater. Could not be more well deserved. And he is estranged from his family. Not surprising.
The only issue i saw was cutting his family out. I couldn't care less if golfers cheat - its sports. Like Rodgers the real story is in the family. Reed just seems like the type of guy who likes bourbon st too much.
"Who is pushing it?" It would seem to be every person who has ever closely watched Reed play. Between the sand trap issue at the Hero, the 'plugged' ball in the left hand rough at another tournament, and identifying his ball in the wrong tree ...... lets face it, the guy is a cheat, plain and simple. Glad he moved to LIV ..... the PGA tour is better off without him.
@@andrewfinlayson1507 IF Reed is a cheater as you allege that he is, then Rory must be a cheater as well. I'm sure you know what i'm talking about. It's ok for Rory to do the same thing and it's not cheating but if Reed does it he is a cheater. What a load of crap!
@@andrewfinlayson1507 And that would include many other professional golfers on the PGA tour as well, IF you are correct. Slight problem in your propaganda.
@@andrewfinlayson1507 you guys have never played real tournament golf apparently....these things could be twisted up on any individual player because that's the way the rules of golf are written. Alot of room for interpretation......all these loser Sheeple are just repeating what the Mainstream media narrative on Reed that is falsely being portrayed and it appears the Sheeple are too Low IQ to have independent critical thinking ability.
Total narcissist nothing is ever his fault and he’s better than everyone else . What a douche to treat your parents like that after they got him there , yeah his play got him there too no denying that but someone was paying for the lessons and equipment
Never really cared about Patrick. He does have a reputation for cheating. At that level and with everyone watching everything you do on the course not to smart.
@@andyetheridge It's true, when he moved sand you can see that he's not even looking at the ground, he's looking at his clubhead in his backswing. He was trying to practice a steep backswing and a steep downswing because of the buried lie
@@lrn_news9171 😆 No player does their practice swing behind the ball unless they're checking for hazards in the backswing. He knew exactly what he was doing! Also the evidence on the ball in the tree is pretty conclusive, he said the ball was 100% his ball even though his ball was in a different tree.
@@robbiee814 It wasn't a usual lie, it was a buried lie and if you watch his first practice swing, he takes it really steep, he was preparing to make a steep back swing and a steep downswing (buried lie) and then when he addresses behind the ball and takes the club back you can see he's already looking behind him as he takes he club back, he was focusing on the clubhead, not the ground, and touched/moved sand a little. As the rules official said, intent didn't matter in this case, moving sand (improving lie) was a 2 stroke penalty regardless. In order to accuse someone of cheating you have to establish intent which you can't. It's mind reading
Nobody is perfect... His infractions are not all that serious in my view... He is a fierce competitor and wants to win... That is also his job... (not to be famous... but perhaps notorious... and perhaps unloved.... *a real burden if he thinks so*....) I love you Patrick... many others love you too.... and I think you should take pride in your achievements in sports and life... and try your best to ignore those who are stupid and envious and hurtful... there are a lot more *holes out there than there are really decent people... You have won a lot of tournaments and events --without being accused of cheating in them-- and I hope you win a bunch more....
@@andyetheridge That's a penalty.... it's not cheating dude. It's called a rules infraction but that's completely different than cheating. It's just a Low IQ statement on your behalf.
@T. Ryan Cheating and rules violations can often be the same thing really. If you willingly or unwillingly break a rule and make no attempt to report the rule violation, that is cheating. Reed DID cheat there because he did not report that rule and he obviously did it on purpose. Remember when Phil putted his ball while it was still moving?? That was not cheating because he knew he broke a rule and reported it correctly. He was breaking a rule in hopes to take advantage of the situation. Reed just broke the rules AND did not report.
@@andyetheridge So, basically you're claiming to be a mind reader and know Reed intended to cheat. The issue with this incident is that from an alternate camera view you can see Reed looking backwards at his club head and not the ground, we have tunnel vision and he didn't touch enough sand to have felt it. Before addressing behind the ball he takes a really steep backswing and downswing because the ball was situated in a deep depression, buried lie.
@@kg2293 It's not obvious that he did it on purpose at all. I recommend that you watch alternate footage and watch carefully as he doesn't even look at the ground while doing his backswing. He was focused on his clubhead while practicing a steep backswing, in other words, he wasn't looking at the ground. There's a golfer on youtube who recreated the shot and moved some sand without feeling it, he touched the sand too lightly to have felt it
You have missed Patricks point about the upgrade of seats at the red socks game. He had to pay to get the seats the PGA gave the other players. You claim he felt privileged. Wrong, he felt slighted by the PGA. I jumped around and could see the school girl mentality of this video and didn’t watch much. Stick to your strength, gossip column.
Sounds like he was a piece if crap before he met his wife but she certainly didn't make him a better person. Never trust a woman that tries to keep you estranged from your family
