I've been watching her vlogs and when she met with the other trainees they said that they shouldn't have joined the competition and I can personally say that it wasn't a good experience for them after all. If she exposed it earlier there's no guarantee people would believe her and fromis9 fans may think that she cant accept the result because she was eliminated.
@snowangeliquexx I think you have to watch the video again she only talked about her experience, she even emphasized that she was asking herself why did she come to the compettition and was vocal she was happy to get eliminated. From there you can already say it wasn't a nice experience. I think the only good thing she said about it was the people she got to meet.
Having said that, does the teacher on the show (bada, heechul, and others) are "friendly" towards the students, or are they more in Mnet "side"? Furthermore, having watch all episode, does the current member of fromis_9 had a special treatment during the course or mnet just being inhumane with everyone? At the very least with the whole show being fake, I want to know that the bonds of all students (fromis_9 and all idol school contestants) are real and all students and fromis_9 members are just victim of these higher-ups being scum. @snowangeliquexx From what I remember, exist a contract to be followed even after the end of the program that lasts a certain time. Maybe she didn't speak sooner for contractual reasons. It could cause a lawsuit on her.

There was supposed to be another Japanese trainee but the girl (I can't think of her name right now) decided to leave the company instead of participating in the show so they brought in Natty. I don't think that Sixteen was staged or that all the members were pre-selected but I do believe that JYP knew that Somi, Chaeryeong and Natty weren't going to make it. I think he put them on the show so that he could showcase them and allow them to gain fans in order to hype the debut of the group that would debut after Twice.

In all the produce series, none of the trainees are at fault of anything, yet they are the ones that get hate. It should've been mnet and the companies involved that are getting hate but they used the idols as their shield and they get all the criticisms. I won't believe it even once that the trainees in produce knew that they were gonna be chosen to be part of their respective groups. Though I think some people already knew from the start that they are not gonna get in. For example is Kaeun. I think she already knew that she was gonna be screwed over. (I mean pledis ceo is involved with the show). I think Pledis CEO only put Kaeun in the show to kick-start her solo career in Pledis but backfired when Kaeun left the company.

I am so happy for her to be out of the program and also so thankful. This program was good, they poured lots of effort and I know that, until I knew the truth. As I fan I don't hate the students of that program cuz they are also victims and I pity them..I hate the background of the program. I watched this program within the shadows. I'm not able to see what's happening in the real situation, I was just seeing their shadows, and I'm so disappointed to the program. Most of the students were young, their under 18 and they need security, family, and especially a healthy diet. Since they are still young they need to eat a lot to grow. This is the worst case among others, cuz they didn't give food for useless diet, they seen to sleep on a nice dormitory well..it was newly painted and it had a gross smell, no windows, some students with allergy are dangerous, no phone or any devices to contact, acting as what the director says so, tell you to smile even when your not happy at all, the worst among this is no menstruation, they lacked energy and vitamins. And the most horrible thing, dancing, singing, live streaming, or on a show, day and night, I don't care whether your sleepy or not. And I really hate that attitude " I don't care". The worst among worst is about Miss Lee hae in. She was really pretty, smart, expert in singing and dancing, until when she was eliminated at the last show. People started to be curious about it and what they found was a great shock. The votes were fake and that is why she lost. However I'm happy for you to be eliminated from the show and to see you being happy in the Philippines !

Now, we all know what's behind the trainees of pd101 too. They're asked to react to blank screens and all those reactions are edited into something else. I'm just speechless.
I think it is not all. Some of the performances (like Kara's Step and Miss A's Hush) are worth to watch with great reactions, but mostly of them (especially Red Velvet's Rookie), I think they are kind of exaggrated their reactions. Even though they are young, I think they could differentiate which ones are the best and worst performances. And tbh, I did not even believe the mentors' reactions for Rookie's (and some other) performances because hey, all the mentors are from experienced company especially SM which is well known with their vocals, so I was very surprised when they stated that their vocals are good and all. At first I though netizens are going so far because those girls are so young after all, but then, let's not be fooled by medias. After all, this is just my assumption, I do not know much since I'm not one of the contestants 😊

Well to be fair that means we can’t really believe they’re nice people either, any of them, because it’s all edited and chosen to make them look good. So we can’t really vote at all for anyone because we don’t know them in real life and never will. But we all know that isn’t happening at this point, we’re all voting for our favorites, it’s almost the end so fuck it. Maybe for the next survival show that comes along we should stop supporting it. Boycott survival shows, not watch them, give them low ratings, and then they’ll stop making survival shows altogether. Because as long as it makes money they’ll keep doing it. They already did. By now understand that ANY survival show such as the Produce Series, Idol School and now I-land - they are all heavily edited and fake. Trainees suffer a lot behind the scenes and it's different from how we see from the screen
This show for me, shows us how they crave for just reflection of beauty in the eye of audience not considering the courage of someone want to be with in the show in a fair treatment.
That's stupid, it's a reality show, not a court trial. MNET writes the script to attract more viewers. That's how shows work. That's how businesses work. They appeal to the audience. The audience wants gorgeous and talented people. I blame people like this youtuber chick for being so ignorant and wasting her breathe fighting against a fake injustice. I blame the consumers who constantly put gorgeous people on a pedestal. Blame evolution for that, our bodies strive for perfection. Our mind wants the best in everything., that includes relationships. Having something beautiful is fleeting, that is why people choose to settle. Fromis_9 is my ult group. And this video makes me feel bad. I read and watch too many things about this situation and I hate Mnet again and again. All of these girls deserves better. I hope they're y'all doing great now. But I'm happy for my 9 girls debuted and getting their first win with Talk&Talk. I'm gonna always support them. What you said about bts being an exemplary example of genuine artists hit me hard cuz I remember the CEO of their company saying that the reason why he gave them so much of freedom to be who they are was and I quote " not immaculate idols born out of studio culture but real boys who share their experiences and emotions with the world" I guess this was one of the reasons why they grew up to be who they are now
This still does not mean that BTSs actions&behaviours and the ones of other groups in their company aren't orchestrated or scripted too. The Kpop world heavily relies on these young kids behaviours and actions for benefit so everything is manipulated. Some I'm sure they're in on while others they're naive to.

That's a hard one. Cj enm owns a lot of known networks and companies. And their entertainment alone is huge such as tvN, ocn, olive, etc... of course mnet and they produce successful films (like parasite.. etc), they have stone music ent., aomg, amoeba, also kcon, mama.. etc. They also have other electronic & food companies. They only want ratings & money, they love being the talk of the town, so after the Produce 101 scandal happened mnet said they won't be producing idol survival shows anymore but look at them preparing to launch "Girls Planet 999" in just a few months, such type of snakes just won't die easily and keep shedding it's skin.
