His first album Stop & Go is a underrated funk bomb. He is the reason why TomTom Club started saying BOHANNON BOHANNON BOHANNON repeatedly in the middle of the 1981 classic "Genius of Love". I'm glad he's birth from my home state of Georgia. RIP 🙏🏽 Hamilton Bohannon

My uncle Melvin Ragin aka Wah Wah Watson came up playing with Hamilton Bohannon!! RIP to Hamilton and Wah Wah Watson!! Two of the greatest most sampled session players ever sampled!!!!!

I’m surprised you didn’t mention the most Bohannon sample “Come On And Do It”. This song is played at every block party I’ve ever been to, I don’t care what age group, or who the DJ is at that block party. RIP Mr. Bohannon.

Bohanon didn't go to Clark college, he's a Morris Brown great. And founded the famous Sticking Sensation Drumlline with Gaylord, and Johnny Sole.

Ok , but it's a fact I have his Clark College degree . That's where he met my mother that's where my sister and I also went CAU... But it's all love just that clearing and anything else u would like to know I would to share . Because he does deserve more credit for things he's done as a trendsetter and trailblazer. And being part of so many peoples career in the beginnings from Puff to Jay Z a lot of history .

@@darwinfussle5031I took a course at Morris Brown And The Woulverines at the stronger 🥁 Marching Band Group. My instructor their had narcolepsy and would drop fast asleep in mid sentence for the period and wouldn't wake up til the room had emptied and we went back to Morehouse

Truly unsung artist in relation to his influence. Funk Disco through to Electro he done the lot, his sound ruled the clubs in the 70s and 80s! Had no idea he started at Motown though.. no Wonder he got a namecheck from the Tom Tom Club!
