One less bell to answer, the age of Aquarius, wedding bell blues, and many more. The original song Love Hangover. They deserve to be in both houses, why not.
Thx for featuring one of my favorite groups of the 60’s. We sang their songs in the Glee Club in school ❤❤. I love all of their songs🎶🎶. They should be inducted into BOTH Halls of Fame. Ron Townsend has passed, so give them their flowers while they’re still here!
I love, love the Fifth Dimension. Stoned Soul Picnic, Age of Aquarius, Will You Marry Me Bill? I honor they honor the 5th Dimension. Yes, they deserve to be inducted in both Halls of Fame.
Pain, Funky Worm, Heaven Must Be Like This, Fire, Love Rollercoaster, Skin Tight, Jive Turkey, Fopp, I Want To Be Free, Who'd She Coo, Far East Mississippi, and many more are my favorites by The Ohio Players, keep them coming man
I love the 5th Dimension, awesome group.. I still have my 1967 Up, up and away album, from high school. They must get into the Rock and Roll hall of fame...
Personally, I believe that the 5th Dimension deserve to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. as well as the R&B Hall of Fame. You can't deny their impact upon the Pop/R&B industry during their peak period. My favorite song by the 5th Dimension is "One Less Bell to Answer". This particular song is a deep song!
Aquarius/Let The Sunshine In, Stoned Soul Picnic, Up Up and Away, One Less Bell To Answer, The Worst That Could Happen, Wedding Bell Blues, California Soul, Working On A Groovy Thing along with others are my favorites by The 5th Dimension, keep them coming man

Ur so on point!!!🙌🏽 YES, they indeed should be inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as well as The R & B!!
Definitely in the rock and roll Hall of Fame. Favorite songs: "One Less Bell To Answer", and the group, which was featured on the TV series, "It Takes A Thief" starring Robert Wagner. The song went top ten in December 1970, months after its ITAT appearance. I think the episode is around... I'm especially fond of the 1971 top 20 hit, "Love's Lines, Angles and Rhymes" too
@@bunnyoneful The Fifth and the Friends of Distinction were close. All of the male singers knew each other before the groups formed. The (Mighty, Mighty) Dells was another group they associated with. I love all three of these great groups.
Thank you for this video. I love the 5th Dimension and Marilyn McCoo is one of the absolute most gorgeous singers in the history of popular music. Sweet Blindness is a nice one. Wedding Bell Blues is a great one, and of course Aquarius is timeless. To answer your question, put them in any Hall of Fame possible.
The 5th Dimension most definitely should be inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame.. They were simply the greatest... I still have my 1967 up,up away album..
I Love me some Commodores, Sweet Love and Easy, is my 2 favorite songs from them. Lady was a nice groove, I remember when they broke up. This was a very good video!
I loooove the group, I grew up with Roller Coaster, Fire🔥, and Funky Worm just to name a few.. I thank you for their biography. Flowers to the group 💐💛
I grew up listening to New Birth, and then saw them in an oldies tour years ago. Yes! Let's just agree that all of their songs are great! Whether original, or remakes, New Birth always put their own original spin, and flavor to the songs. Unless you were familiar with another version, you'd be hard pressed to think anyone else but New Birth was the original artist. Check it Out!,Ciao!!!
Before I say my favorite OP song there's another thing you'll should know there's a group that the Ohio Players discovered called FAZE-O and wrote a song for them called Ridin High in 1977 which the Rap Duo Kriss Kross sampled for their 1995 song Tonight's the night now my favorite songs by The Ohio Players are 1. Silly Billy 1973 (Ecstasy album) 2. Funky worm 1972 3. Climax 1974 Westbound 4. It's your night 1974 ( Skin Tight album) 5. Ain't givin up no ground interlude 1975 ( Honey album) 6. Contradiction 1976 7.Precious Love 1976 ( Contradiction album) 8.aWhod she Coo? 1976 9. My Life 1976(Contradicton album) 10 Body vibes 1977 ( Angel Album) M 11Magic Trick 1977- Mr Mean album 12. Are my favorite I got plenty more of them but I just put these in the top and I also love Vibe Alive With Herbie Hancock featuring. Leroy sugarfoot Bonner 1988
You forgot the Ohio Player's one and only Arista records release, Everybody Up, which yielded the hit title tune Everybody Up. To this day, I can't believe how people slept on this album. There isn't a weak cut on it. As a lifelong Funketeer, I love all the Funk groups. I don't care which part of the world they come from, but for me, The Ohio Players are my favorite group, and their 1975 hit Love Rollercoaster is my all-time favorite song from the Ohio Players.
Nobody did it like The Players!!! Too many favorite songs to mention, but "Only a Child Can Love", "Far East Mississippi", "Summertime", ""Fopp", "Who'd She Coo", "Heaven Must Be Like This", "Walt's Frist Trip", and "Angel", are some of my favs!!! This group was the best of the best......
