here's the thing, you don't have to be a "fan", ive been listening to linkin park since 2003. the lyrics and everything what chester wrote was a reality. what he felt was true, which is rare these days. plus the guy had vocals out from this world. screamed like a demon and sang like an angel. to our generation Chester death felt exactly like death of John Lennon (for boomer) and Kurt Cobain (for GEN X). it really hit home. felt like loosing a family member. me myself i was never a linkin park fan. i was a fan of Chester's honesty in his singing, he's lyrics and his energy. then out of nowhere comes along some blonde who doesn't believe that mental health is a real thing and sings the exact lyrics what Chester wrote. sorry but no sorry. it just not it, i don't want it and i really don't want see anything related to modern cash grab tribute act called linkinology.
That band died when the lead singer died whatever his name was. Dont recall. This would've been like nirvana trying to keep going without kurt cobain. I dont think linkin park will survive this. Alice in chains has done well but thats because jerry was also a vocalist in the original band.

Sometimes I don't understand how people react and think. Emily can’t be blamed for the fact that her parents are high-ranking members of the Scientology movement, and that she may have been surrounded by that cult/culture her entire upbringing. People are incredibly quick to judge without having even a shred of facts to base it on. Even if she distances herself from it today, it’s not certain that she would mention it officially. As a comparison, I have a friend from Turkey who secretly converted to Christianity. He told me that his Muslim family in Istanbul and the rest of his relatives in Turkey would completely cut him off if they found out. He even said, 'My mother would kill me.' So only his closest friends knew about it.

That would be an acceptable outlook on the entire situation if........ She didn't also support a rapist, wasn't on the inside of a movement that victimized women in general, and also didn't openly criticize mental health. Chester sang those lyrics from a place of real pain as he struggled in dealing with the things that were done to him as a child. No, the lead singer appears to have supported others who have don just as evil of things to others? Are you kidding me? This is not how Linkin Park became what they were. And I stress...... What they were! I cannot support this move, there were dozens of other females vocalists that could have been given a shot. Instead, the band spit in the face of Chester's struggles by taking her. Scientology........ Is the least of what she represents!
Pathetic you cannot replace the lead singer of a band once they die. I'm a huge fan of linkin park and this an insult to chester. They should of dis banded after he died they made enough money!

Let’s remember, the band didn’t ask to be put in this situation. it’s not like Chester was fired from the band, they didn’t want to replace him, he chose to take his own life. not to mention the band wasn’t just all about Chester, it was about everyone involved. even he knew that, when Warner Brothers wanted Chester to be the main focus, he told them to go to hell. they tried to get Mike kicked out of the band.
