Nelson Riddle's main and end title music for "The Untouchables" Season 3, taken from the episode "The Canada Run" with guest stars Simon Oakland and Arthur Hill. This is one of the longer versions of the end title.
@Terry Hawk Lucille Ball thru her Desilu Studios gave us some of the greatest entertainment ever: The Untouchables, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, Mannix.
@Terry Hawk it's probably the best crime series ever produced, the stories, the music, the acting, the imagery all cinema-level, and I still watch Mission: Impossible on Pluto TV every day. All from a B movie actress and her Cuban bandleader husband. I thank my lucky stars that I grew up watching these gems, mostly in their first run.
@Terry Hawk don't get me started on Quinn Martin, I'll be writing all nite! The opening to all his shows alone are golden. Between QM, Desilu and Universal, they owned TV in the 60's and 70's. My all-time favorite was Universal's The Name of the Game, Stack co-starred in that one too.
@Terry Hawk Universal also had Columbo and Banacek. I'll never forget the opening to QM's The FBI - haunting. They all began with the deep-voiced announcer saying something like "Tonite's Episode: Murder Can Be Bad For Your Health." ;D
@Terry Hawk DURING MY CHILDHOOD DAYS AND ADOLESCENCE THE BEST SERIES I ENJOYED WERE . COMBAT THE FUGITIVE THE UNTOUCHABLES TOO MUCH TALENT OF THOSE ACTORS AND ENTERTAINMENT.
