You missed 1 crucial one that probably affects me more than any of these: Don't leave the game as soon as you go down! Wait until the entire squad gets eliminated or your respawn tag times out. I cant tell you how many times ive been left solo after cleaning up the enemy squad because my teammates immediately disconnect before ive had a chance to finish the enemy off. Its infuriating, and basically screws me for the rest of the game

I think the issues that bug me the most are teams that loot everything, don't stick together or leave immediately after getting killed. I don't expect everyone to be top tier, I'm not even top tier myself. But if I'm with randoms who make an effort, try their best and we still lose, I consider that a good game, because we tried our best AS A TEAM.

Yes. Thank you for saying that you don’t always have to take fights and that it’s okay to retreat or just not take fights. I definitely feel like people in this game are way to stubborn to realize when fights are lost causes and should be evacuated out of. People need to understand that backing down is sometimes just the best option you have in some situations.

So glad someone mentioned respecting the dibs system. It's so frustrating to dibs something just for a random to snatch it up. Even when I do it by accident (They dibs it right before I grab it), I usually drop it for them and ping it again.

-Use your ultimate as a Pathfinder, before you scan a survey beacon. -Ultimate accelerants are your best friends, when you're playing Loba; and Lifeline or any legends with high ulti cd in general. -Stop getting front of your teammate(s), when they're trying to shield swap in a risky situation, when you're knocked. -If Loba places her ultimate: black market in the door way, make sure, you're crouching to the side, cause you can't open the door. -DO NOT stay in front of Horizon/Fuse/Mad Maggie, when they're about to use their ultimate. -Look an eye out of your teammates loadout. In case they've sniper try to keep the range, if they've shotguns get closer. -DO NOT shoot at people, unless you're sure you can get 100% value out of it, otherwise you'll expose your team. -DO NOT open the door, when a teammates stands, right in front of it, when he's/she's healing. It means there're opponents out there. -There's always a CAPTAIN in a team who make calls and if those suggestions are benifical to the team, then stick with that dude, unless all of you in the same page. -Stop playing with the gravity canyon in Stormpoint, just because you're bored. -Swap seats, when you're driving a trident in the ring and your HP getting low. -Stop spamming Bloodhound's tactical scan 24/7... it just expose your team, instead of giving actual information. Use your passive, if a team passed by there, about 15s ago it indicates you're near, but before you use it rely on your ears. -DO NOT smoke your teammates all the time with Bangalore, unless your team in trouble or need to make a rotation. Instead smoke the enemy team. -DO NOT put your Caustic gas canisters in the Wattson's fence, cause the fence will destroy it. -STOP swinging out of cover, when your opponent is in your face. -DO NOT be a loot goblin! -STOP climbing in each other, because it will cancel the climbing animation. -STOP using Horizon's tactical at the same time, cause it'll drop one of you off. -Your teammates grenades ain't do damage to you... -DON'T BE a moron, when both of your teammates decides to drop outside of populated area. -Wait for your teammates, when you're about to engage, nobody like to drag them. -For the love of god use Horizon's tactical, Revenant's ultimate.... -When a Loba tells you she gonna place her black market to bait people, stop looting, it meant to bait your opponent not your team... -Let Vantage shoot her ultimate, if it's possible, then engage. -Poking isn't means the team needs to engage. -Use you the pin' system, if you don't have a mic... -Don't be afraid to take the longer way to rotate, even that means you have to get outside the ring, if you have the rescouses. -DO NOT take the shield swap option from your teammates, when he's/she's getting pin down, just beacuse it's an upgrade for you... -STOP relying on others shields/health, just beacuse you want to carry other stuff... They're not your personal bank. -Pin' your ultimate, if you don't have a mic, so your teammates gonna know, if it's ready or not. Oh boi, i could go on and on for days... This is called basic game knowledge or in other words: common sense.

it's funny to hear that Seer's ult is a "game changer" when literally a few months ago everyone said it was useless and just a third-party magnet. Ah, how times have changed even though Seer hasn't.

A pro tip is if you wanna play longer games, don't drop in fragment, there is literally no reason. Also when playing with a wraith make sure to be jumpmaster and jump asap in such a way they can't make it to Fragment because they will split off to go there

The last clip also reminds of a good tip: make sure your secondary gun is reloaded.

OH MY DAYS. Finally someone said something about Dibs. The amount of times my randoms would take my extended mag after I called dibs on it is too much

I’m glad to know there’s people that know how the ping mechanics work especially when your teammate needs something and the fact that octanes don’t actually need golden hemets. I feel it’s just common for wraiths to immediately DC if they’re playing with randoms, always go for the finisher on them.

One thing he didn't mention. If you have a rampart consider giving them the revive for the single fact that they can revive you with their amped covers defense... Or give it to a third teammate and have the rampart hold the cover with Sheila if anyone tries to push (Sheila is her miniguns name, kinda like tf2 heavy and all his miniguns with individual names but still)

I got two that are related wo what is in the video: - hover over your legend of choice to let the teammates know. - try not to run the whole team with the same ammo type. (so you don't run dry from sharing (deathboxes)

Yes!! Always revive before you loot I hate just staring at my teammates as they loot everything and when they finally do revive we usually get third partied right away!

I love when I get killleader while reviving my teammate after clutching the 1v2 , literally your teammate will respect you and follow you the rest of the match to the ends of the world and he wont even get mad if you dont get the W , thats just something that only happens in Apex

I think you may have missed checking your teammates ammo types when viewing inventory. I’ll have to watch again but when they added that I started pinging ammo without them having to request and it seem helpful most of the time. I usually check after I’m reasonably kitted and around mid game if we’re poor. The little icon of the white guy raising his hand is often overlooked. Great for getting your teammates attachments. Good tips dude! Even veterans forget several of these 😅

As a newcastle main, I’d say prioritising a newcastle with a gold knockdown ahead of lifeline. The amount of lifeline res’s that don’t get off Vs the amount of newcastle ones you can get off with the gold knockdown is a massive difference.

Last time I checked, The "team mate needs this" icon only shows up when you have button hints enabled. Yes, the same setting that hides the button hints also hides the information necessary to know whether something you're about to ping is actually beneficial to someone's loadout.

I feel like dibs is situational. If you dibs something but your teammate is right next to it (close enough for them pinging it to be pointless), you can’t get mad if they grab it.

On The Not Looting Boxes When You Respawn A Teammates, I Try To Open The Boxes And Ping Things They Might Need.

No one ever mentions simply looking behind the jumpship to see where the enemy teams go. You can easily land adjacent to a big group, grab a loadout, then push the 3rd parties.

Attempting to grab a teammates banner isn't always the best idea. Just last night I had an opposing team eyeing our teammates banner like hawks waiting for us to grab it, we were 7th place, and since we were in gold we only needed 5th place to not go negative. The ring was big enough that we could rat, and it worked out.

i played with taxi2g and he jumped off the map in ranked because the game auto selected me on horizon

something i like about mirage is if a teammate is downed in the middle of a fight you can quickly send out a decoy and then run up to them and give a quick rez since you’re both invisible. he should rez the most, followed by lifeline

if you’re lifeline and the jumpmaster decides to land in skulltown, it’s your duty to find every single mozambique and ping it

Like yall understand how much faster crafting can go if 1 person can drop 60 points on bats at a time and how much safer it is to have 2 people watching. I feel like my teammates legit wait for me to be on 1 side of the crafter and then they both hop on the other sides like WHY

another mistake i made while playing lifeline (only realized it yesterday when i was watching my footage back) ALWAYS put down your drone FIRST before recharging your shields or something.. what i did in the entire game is recharge my shields THEN put down the drone.. it just costs time.. i know it's obvious now, but i didn't think about that when i was playing.. so yeah drone first then whatever you wanna do.. ALSO ALSO.. if you're running into the zone, don't use your drone, unless you're limited on heals.. instead keep them to use in the middle of a fight.. i cannot stress this enough.. 'cause if someone pushes us just after my drone is done healing, i won't have any when i auto-revive you.. so you'll just be busy healing up, while we 2v3 or something.. i don't main lifeline but i think y'all should know this.. stop pressuring your LL's.. or anyone for that matter.. teach them how to play the fkn game instead of trashin'em..

Console Rules If you are in a party of two, don’t be in a party chat. Communication is key. Don’t expect your random teammates to pop off when you don’t say anything due to the fact that you and Timmy are in a party chat. If you are solo queuing, relinquish jump master. Pick and choose. Add more console rules.

one more thing you could add is after you have 6+ kp you should aim more on the placement side unless you see a good 3p

Actually unless it is just one person with the weaker shield (for example a white shield and a blue/purple appears) the lifeline should still get the shield if everyone has the same shield level. The reason isn't even because it's her ultimate, she often needs more health since if she gets knocked and there's no other supports, the team is heavily at a disadvantage. Always respect your lifelines, they have been screwed over by nerfs and have had their passives given to someone else and it was made better.

You can destroy placed abilities like Newcastle ult, rampart wall, and loba ult with 2 punch, don't wate your ammo (still shot watson fance). If it's your, take it after fight/loot (fot loba) so enemies can't use it (if it's not used to block the door) Nb: i don't know if loba ult can destroyed by 2 punch, but better destroy it if you find one

as a Lifeline, I have to say, that not in every situation I am able to promptly res my teammate, if I am in a middle of a fight, its a disadvantage for me to res you right away, cause the animation makes me slower unfortunately. and I may get knocked or we get eliminated. So, I still have to think WHEN to res.

a new and already forgotten one for this season: give loba the gold backpack since she can take 3 batteries, 3 med kits and 2 phoenix kits from her black market only using one item slot, they could get your team 6 batteries instead of 4, and if you can pass the bag around to maximise it

when my teammates land on the same spot I do I always get so pissed XD I almost always ping where I specifically am landing but there's always that one guy who is just too important to simply go somewhere else. Even my friend who i've been playing the game with for over a year STILL DOES THIS regularly

i understand that its a preference but i feel Newcastle should get the gold knockdown before lifeline just because its a shield and he uses it for his res, if he has a bad knockdown then he has less of a chance to get the rez

the knockdown shield now to me is better on newcastle in case newcastle and lifeline are together, not only because it provide cover to both but also because you can move with newcastle, in most scenarios newcastle will be the better option, ofc if the newcastle player isnt good better keep it to yourself or to lifeline if she is good/decent if not, maybe do the same, keep it to yourself unless they ask you to give it to them which is a very good method to know if they plan to use it or just dont care.

Overlooked rule is to ask your team before you decide to engage in a fight. To many times I've been dropping ammo I dont need or running in the opposite direction when a random thinks he can solo a squad. Now hes knocked and I'm being hunted for the clean up.

Another good tip is to armor swap before reviving so you’re not an easy one shot while reviving. Dropping armor for your downed teammates to pick up immediately is also a good option.

So many teammates just stay in the exact same spot they went down in. They don’t crawl to safety and they don’t hold their knockdowns. People just assume the game is over when they get knocked. I’ve won so many games by not backing out and waiting to be respawned.

I like that the FIRST thing you call out is lazy lander-itis. Nothing irritates me more in this game than teammates who make you work 10x harder for loot.

I play with randoms since loba season, the basics its follow your team, tag what you see, and most important trust in yourself potential and the people are playing in your squad, high ranked players die too as everyone, and dont fear the ring in early game. One basic last tip of every BR game dont go to the center of safe zone never, stay playing hanging around borders and hunt more than loot.

I wish there was something they could do about teammates following the jump master all the way to the bottom, so many times I've had teammates drop on me and follow me to try to out loot me. I even had someone leave the game after I "stole" their loot since they went into the same building I did after I tried to get away from them.

One comparison to dont drop next to the teammate: "Do you take a piss right next to someone?" Also, shame that you didn't mention about don't piss of Newcastle. He's the only one who can make sure you stay dead.

If you dont have any support on your team, golden knockdown can also be quite good on caustic, catalyst, fuse (grenades), octane (can jumppad teammates away), wraith (portal teammates away), ash (portal) and bangalore (smoke) Not very useful at all on vantage, maggie, loba, crypto, revenant, rampart (altho can block doors), bloodhound, valkyrie and seer

When people spam the respawn ping I put up with it for a little bit. Then I tell them, if you keep spamming I won’t res. Then if they keep going I tell them “one more ping and you’re not getting rezd” Obviously if it’s gotten that far 99% of the time they will spam ping again 😂 I could be right next to the respawn beacon at that point and I will turn around and keep playing my game.

While octane shouldn't get gold helm, he should get gold shield priority. This is useful for when he's half flesh bc of stim, bc he can just use one syringe to get him back up to full again

I have three rules. 1. Game is kill and loot not loot and die. Those who look for all the game are likely to die first fight. 2. Cardinal rule. Do not loot your teammates. Leave it alone no matter what. 3. Don't engage unless all three teammates are together. Duo's love engaging and dying in rank together. If the third guy is 60 meters out. Hold before engaging.

As someone who plays solo almost exclusively I love when I get 2 premades that are actually communicating with each other and towards me because then I know what they are thinking. If I don't wanna deal with it I can always mute them. This makes no sense whatsoever in any scenario.

Why don't you want to carry more than one stack of shotty ammo? Most of the time, the enemys you kill with this stack, don't have any shotgun ammo and then you have a problem. I usually carry 2 stacks of shotty ammo

On the talk of never carry more than one stack of shotgun ammo I'd like to contest that with my sniper Mozambique that has hammer point rounds and 48 extra using them all for 1.5k damage and a 6 kill win.

I Personally Don’t Fully Agree With The Crafter, I Think Everyone Should Use At most 2 But Not All Three, Especially If Your With Randoms. 1 At A Time In The Crafter Is Fine But Taking The Whole Thing, Randoms like to Leave While You’re Crafting. Everything Else Is Spot On

2:36 this, as many people know, is not true when playing at higher levels. Waiting for your another teamate to loot a box is valuable time spent not looking for other teams. If I kill someone and I'm further away, I don't care if my teamate (who should also be very good) sweeps the box real quick and I do a quick sweep of what's left.

Flanking right/Left: your teammate is pushing either to the left if he says flanking left same thing with the other. Need a bat?: Usually is asking you how many shield batterys you have. In the off chance tho he/she might be actually be needing a shield battery don't hesitate to drop it. One shot: they aren't but try to consider that hopefully your teammate actually shot him; RARE MOMENT; in the off chance that if you look at the top right of your screen were the kill feed is going out if you see the word enemy shield broke they actually are one shot and you should hunt that guy down before he heals. Need light: needs light ammo. (Orange ammo rounds) Need heavy: need heavy ammo( Teal ammo rounds) Need energy: needs energy ammo(kinda of a green/yellow ammo rounds. Need sniper ammo: (THE DARK BLUE ONE) I'm Pushing: your teammates is pushing up try to stay somewhere near as hell need a rez soon. NEED A REZ: he's knocked and need to be revived; PRO TIP: Ask if they are safe yet so you can push for the rez! always be sneaky so they don't know as soon as you start reviving the enemy can hear and will hear you! Need a medi: needs a med kit. And these are the most common names to hear with certain legends, some legends have nick names. Starting off with: Fusey= Fuze Gibby= Gibraltar Sweat= wraith or octane depends if they say fazeing or not. Watt= Wattson Gas daddy= caustic my favorite one is; BLOOD= bloodhound Lil Nas x= Seer Valk= Valkyrie Ash is self explanatory Horiz= horizon Orange laser= vantage Fucking pussy= crypto or in most cases it's usually a new castle And last but not least some ranked lingo which you will most likely use in pubs(public matches like duos or trios.) Let's start of right with: Scanners: any character that can either see through walls or can use an ability to use a camera drone to track where you or your enemys are Support: usually a lifeline or a newcastle which if your team btw says 2 supports know that it's usually a good idea to go for the Newcastle and instantly put all of your attention on the lifeline as she can also heal and res her team and still shoot you while she is as it's a remote rez. Mobility legends: because of season 16th launch they are called skermitchers. These are characters who can create space between you and the enemy or for creating high ground between two opposing parties. Also it means people with a movement ablity who can either leave or start a fight. Defensive: people like caustic Wattson and rampart locking down sections or in most cases a building so you cannot push into the fight willy nilly always take your time with them and finish them first along with a support legend. Assault: people like Bangalore, or Fuze who have ultimates that can hurt you in anyway. Gibby btw is now a support and he was a defensive character so don't think because of the ultimate it's the reason why they are the assault class. They are the head honchos and mostly will start the fight first protect them second along side your support. SUPPORTS ARE PRIORITY IF YOU HAVE ONE PROTECT THEM AT ALL COST. And now for the actual ranked lingo. Kp= Kill points (Assists,kills participation points) RP = Ranked points (that's what is your make or break you always want to be going positive which means you need to be not going negative (no points at all or you haven't earned any yet) Third Party: another team is coming or your looking to fight the team that is low when two other teams have fought the longer you fight a team the more likely a third party is coming so be prepared and always try to finish a fight early you don't need to kill a full squad but you should probably call it quits if two are completely dead; Forth parties 5th and sixth parties are the exact same it's just more teams if it's has became a sixth party know that you are dead. You are not otter or ascu or imperial hal or any pro player you will most live that fight if there is a forth party run immediately. And thats pretty much it if anybody has anything else to add drop it down the comment section

Yesterday, I managed to runaway from a thirdparty (I risked to get my teammate banners), I respawned them in a safe place and pinged good loot and luckily we were close to an IMC Armory We finished the quest, then there is this Loba her bin was next to mine, She stood still next to me just to steal my loot the moment I open my loot bin (gold backpack+gold light mag, btw she was using sniper+shotgun), I asked her nicely to throw back my loot but she ignored me, 3 squads left btw so I went right into the storm a threw nades at me just to watch her looting meanwhile the other teammate was fighting 2 solos

I feel you can use 2 weapons from smg class the volt is a really solid mid range weapon and can be used long range, and the car is a cracked close range weapon, but if you are a die hard fanboy of the r99 it can be acceptable to use it, but you're just nerfing yourself at that point

I literally do that very exact thing, I hop off Apex and play Warzone while Storm Point is in roto.

to day, I played with some random Master octane in pub. He had the gold knockdown shield the whole match and he never gave it to lifeline. Very end of the match, he got knocked and lifeline res him. Without gold knockdown shield, he had no chance to fight back after being rescued. He quit. The reason here is no matter how good you are, do not get cocky. Give the right item to the right legends. You never know when it's gonna come in handy.

Literally, the most annoying thing that happens to me all the time is when we finish a squad and I go and revive my teammate. My other teammate will then just start looting all the death boxes of the team we just killed and then when me and my teammate go to loot them there’s no batteries, no med kits, no ammo, nothing, and why is it always Valkyries in Bangalore’s that do this

I ping when I release jumpmaster if the jumpmaster is taking too long and it’s usually as a suggestion, and as for the respawn beacon I only ping once so that they know where the closest one is

for the loot in death box you kill, my teammates now still don’t care, i killed a bangalore, revived my teammate so they can heal up, they ran right to the bangs box, and took EVERYTHING, even though i did all the damage

I do have an addendum to First Dibs rules - if you have no shields and/or health, you should be allowed to take a medkit or shield cells. Taking that purple mag should definitely not be covered by this, though.

I'm kinda surprised how much of this I picked up just playing and not from video, stuff like not landing right next to your teammates so everyone get their own loot may seem obvious to me but I know for a fact I CAN'T count how many people have landed with me but are clearly not afk and split off once we landed instead of while we're diving. also applies to not having 2 of the same type of guns

A lot of people dont take the punching fight which is annoying. its a 1v3 final ring 2 squads and I drop my stuff and all three of them come in tapstrafing wall bouncy ult nade spam missing 80% of their shots on a dude standing completely still just tryna have a punchout.
