I've said it once, I'll say it again. I really would like for them to add a third playable faction. Call it "Prey" and allow people who want the horrifying and thrilling experience of being the small critters, the ability to play as them. For obvious reasons there's not going to be a flood of complaints about how a critter should be able to 1v1 a Rex & etc. Also, considering that critters die in three hits. Those who wish to play as them to grieve babies, won't be much of a threat.
This’ll do so much to help the world feel more alive. Especially, if it gets implemented in the ocean. If feels weird going up to a shark and having it not react.
We really do have to give credit to the amount of updates and fixes the devs are doing for the game. I know everyone wants something else but man, everytime I watch one of your videos I am so darn excited.
I really hope they keep up with it and don't just implement and sit back. Can't wait to see the maps more populated, getting to see packs of herbies in the distance, hiding from a random carni that decided to spawn in nearby, gonna be fun. I can go entire days without ever seeing another player(unless I got to IC/Crater), so this would be a great way to make the world feel more alive, and provide more dynamic feeding options. Imagine a hungry herbivore not knowing where food is, so quietly following a Herbie herd until they reach food, would be a great active learning tool. Even better if they AI drinks, eats, has mock fights with each other, etc...(without using up the actual resources, would suck if AI just kept draining water quality everywhere or eating all food in an area then leaving). Even cuter if they respond to our calls. Make a heart call to an AI and see how it responds. Are we gonna fight, can we hang out and eat together, etc. I beg of you devs, please don't sit on this for 3 years, stick with it, push it well, everyone who plays will love you for it if you do it well and timely, but don't rush and mess it up 😂 It's a fine line, but we trust you to have this.
They should expand on this for bosses you can fight that could drop a shit ton of coins, give a lot of experience (for smaller bosses you can fight as a juvie) or maybe even unlocks a special skin. Path of Titans has been claimed to be "the dinosaur MMO" and even though it does have some MMO elements like quests it doesn't really feel like it yet. Like imagine fighting the Dynamosuchus as a group of juvie dinos and you managed to kill it, that should be rewarded with a big boost to experience!
They need to make AI that's smart and that can just play as the dinosaurs that are already in the game and go in herds and stuff and also work together but they don't kill everything in their vicinity just because they only do it when they're hungry or something like that and they do drink water and eat food and they do seek out each other and kill each other too and you can interact with them or something like that where they're actually smart and they behave kind of like a player so single player could be much more entertaining and you could actually play with "people" in single player And that would make single player have more of a reason for existing
Goniopholis and basilemys are also AI that will spawn across the map (basilemys is a fish at the moment but will probably change soon) but no one talks about them
3:46 It's actually from Brazil (Santa Maria Formation, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil). You might have confused it with its close relative, Venaticosuchus, which is in fact from Argentina.
4:32 they should make these things abboctious by stalking any sitting dinosaurs, if they go to sleep, they attack, even rexes. Would be a funny thing to spice up your walking simulator
We should have the option to play as a temporary critter spawn...that spawns near other players (and has no growth, no hunger, no thirst)...AND we spawn away from any other critters on the map
I hope you can do missions to make more ai spawn, like doing a mission like a million times then getting swarmed by like a hundred frog things. Sounds like a funny thing
@@guineapig0983no need cause it won't not sure why that guy thinks that Edit: nvm I get what he means now thought he was talking about about the critters
Heres my take on how ai dinosaurs should work, I feel that they should add dinosaurs from the roster as ai dinos but also add some distinct ai dinosaurs as well, but i also think the ai roster shoukdnt have apexes like spino, rex, bars, eo, and deino. Adding the apexes would be just ai that can and will attack anything which feels weird, especially with the problem or people playing apexes a lot already that would seem weird overall, i think having ai dinos up too sucho, allo, stego, and amarg in combat weight might be a good idea. Ai thats still larger and can be mistaken for a player while still having less worry once you reach a certain size. If apexes do get added i really hope they make it so they dont target suoer small things too, like only attacking once attacked and when the player is of a certain size like alio and alberta too rex and bars size. I also believe they REALLY need to add ai fliers and aquatics that are in and outside of the roster, the lack of variety in the sky and sea is really disappointing on official servers, they could add other prehistoric reptiles that are ai and can make flying and swimming even scarier and add to the ecosystems in the game.
So glad to see that they're finally making progress on AI. It's something the game needs badly, especially to give players something to do other than PvP. Honestly, with how annoying their constant "balance" changes to playable dinos are, I'd much rather see them take a break from constantly buffing, nerfing and reworking nearly every playable dino twice a year and focus on stuff like this.
I know it’s unlikely but I wish that mod creators could release their own modded AI creatures once AI dinosaurs are added into multiplayer servers and single player.
It would be cool to be able to open up a single-player game and know that there are dinos walking around in herds and meat eaters hunting in packs and being able to invite friends into this world with you.
One day I'm just going to be chilling in the forest as an allosaurus and then I'm just going to hear a snap, I'm going to look back and there's going to be a PT Rex just barreling towards me, and I'm going to cry.. 😭 Edit: (In possible theory)
Someone told me I was wrong about AI dinosaurs coming to path of Titans and we have to remember there's a lot of players that doesn't want AI dinosaurs so velocci please do a pole Yes for AI dinosaurs or No AI dinosaurs
@@VelocciYT AI dinosaurs are necessary and they play a really crucial role in path of Titans good for single player if you just want to chill spectate or just join in the fun and just destroy all the dinosaurs and it's good for multiplayer it's a filler for the 200 players like world of tanks on consoles we have AI if there's not many players online the AI will get into the match AI is very very necessary it's a filler for certain games plus I heard a rumor that Microsoft is getting AI just like PlayStation where if you don't want to grind on a certain game the AI will take over even when you're console is off the AI will take over you can set it up in a certain way
Can’t wait to get Ai dinosaurs so we can play single player without having to worry about being chased by annoying players or have to go through server restarts
5:40 Normally I'm not this person, & I know it's too late to change it, but... You used the wrong variation of "prey" in the video. "Prey" is for small, huntable animals. "Pray" is for prayer.
They need to have every creature too, like there should be herds of herbivores that aren’t players etc as well as having packs of some carnivores, spines etc the game is boring right now there’s no objective and being a carnivore is lame now because all people do is mix pack
@@bradenhoefert2109 Aside for the single player factor which I think is actually pretty cool, all other issues were non-existent to me, during my entire time playing (I've been playing since october 2023). I guess most of the player base focuses on the official servers, I didn't spend much time on them to tell, but I assume AI would only bring an improvement there.
