I liked the joke of him literaly being the owner of every title of the noxian army. Its such a shame that Riot give him an official title, debunkin the initial joke.
they should make his title the HIGH MAJOR COMMODORE OF THE FIRST LEGION THIRD MULTIPLICATION DOUBLE ADMIRAL ARTILLERY VANGUARD COMPANY. tbh you should be able to earn that title from completing all Kled Eternals or smth.

a librarian with an ancient lore that had a common path with ryze in the past so he know much about runes and magic and later decided to live in piltover where he helps ezreal by giving him information about magic items that are mostly considered to be myths like ezreals gauntlet
Imo, kled doesn't need a story. It wouldn't add anything to his character because he's probably forgotten it. He's spontaneous and acts in the interests of himself and skarrl, and likes Noxus because they are strong and share his ideas of conquering. Plus, giving him a deep reason to do what he does would probably take a lot of the fun out of his character.
He would probably work best as a side character in other character stories, randomly showing up murdering the shit out of a trespasser and yeeting off again.
He's not weeb enough to be mained and not utterly OP to be easily abused. I'm not saying He's hard to play or too easy but like the majority of the top picked champs that are also popular are busted in one way or another.

I think the story is perfect this way, Kled is a mystery, he is at this point not so much a character as it is a part of the noxian battles, you don't need to know his motivation you can take him as an aspect of war.
My feeling, all yordles should have stories written in this way. To not be so much the characters, but more like legends. Anyway, undisputed best champ in the game, idgaf.
I personally think that a back story would make The High Major Commodore of the First Legion Third Multiplication Double Admiral Artillery Vanguard Company Kled less interesting. I like that he comes out of nowhere and does what he pleases and knowing his motivations or if he has motivations takes something away
I just love that he's some eternal, always existed warmonger that nobody knows where he came from or who he even is, but people in Noxus love him because he screams "NOXUS" and kills people. But all he wants is everything, and won't settle until he HAS everything. Also he has an immortal dinosaur mount who he's in a love/hate relationship with, not entirely dissimilar to Yoshi. Kled is pretty much the Doom Slayer of League. Shows up one day and just starts fucking up shit but has no real friends and is enemies with himself, living off of pure, unbridled rage and bloodlust.
I think the same as you. The simplicity of a savage who only wants to fight with every living being without any qualms about his own safety is great, as if the chaotic nature the character has is the only way I would like to see him. Nothing to do with The Void, Yurima, The Darkin or the primal forces of existence, just an old curmudgeon riding the goodest of the boys. (Sorry for the bad english)
@@emarythomp That´s the problem. I like my one dimensional characters, they are fun a easy to understand whitout reading 87 historys of other characters. Not all the characters has to have a big brain history whit conections to every plot in the lore.
I like that some of the Yordles feel like embodiments of the cultures of the different nations on Runeterra. Kled embodies Noxian imperialism and their “might makes right” mentality being taken to their comical extremes. Poppy embodies the Demacian ideals of integrity and honor so much that she is blind to and refuses the fact that she is the hero she’s searching for. Fizz embodies the culture of Bilgewater, causing comedic mischief, ignorant of or blind to the suffering that might be caused by it. Heimerdinger embodies Piltover’s creativity and innovation. Kennen seems to embody the Ionian ideals of balance. If any other Yordles get added or updated, I hope their personalities are linked to the cultures of other regions of Runeterra.
There must be a hidden story where he passes through Zaun. His joke is literally about drinking mushroom juice and how it is *healthy*. He could be the anti Ivern story where a peacfull yordle drops out of Heimer's tutelage because of illegal shroom juice.
Or he's just always been crazy and made his own mushroom juice to become more "alert" or whatever. PS: If you look at Kled's splash art you can see mushroom-like plants in the background, so that's probably the mushrooms he is using for the juice.
@@nicklasveva There is nothing akin to a mushroom in the splash art. Only noxian targets. My story ties well to how he could get his hands on a *desert* (shuriman?) Drakalops and end up in Noxus. Zaun was already the trade city between Shurima and Noxus. If Puffcaps existed already back then as poison/hallucinogenic it is a story practically written itself.
I like how they keep Kleds backstory so mysterious.It would be hilarious to find out that Kled, a tiny insane squirrel is the incarnation of Noxian War.

KLED WILL NOT TOLERATE THESE DARN JUNGLERS ON HIS PROPERTY the real problem with Kled is that no matter how fed you are (almost), the enemy can always group up and if you don't have a decent team, you die anyways as soon as Skaarl drops. I feel like having him get more health on Skaarl late game or increasing the duration of his ult shield would be decent. maybe remove the Grievous Wounds on his bear trap to compensate.
honestly, kled is one of the characters that fit their lore really well, almost every mechanic on his kit is meant to keep him in battle and discourage backing off, whether that ends in him dying or getting a double kill remains to be seen.

When he's disounted, you'd think "he's vulnerable, he won't fight" but then next you know it some little furry cunt is running at you with only 1000 max HP and gunning you down in the streets, stomping on your corpse as you wonder wtf happened. While, if you play like a coward you're actively punished with lower movement speed and little courage recovery from minions (and none from monsters).
Not everything needs a backstory or clarity. Kleds whole appeal comes from him being this larger than life tale or ''meme''. Being a yordle of course he'd have to come from Bandle city and joining Noxus? Well you can fill in the blanks; Noxus celebrates power. Kled takes what he claims is his. Perfect fit. Plus I don't think he really ''joined'' per se, he's just living in the area that is considered Noxus and will still attack Noxians if they come on ''his land'' , but he'll fight with thier army cuz he likes having all the titles and he loves fightin', and Noxus is always getting into fights.
I think that Kled is general Zanaav because after the battle he disappeard , AND you said that yordles use magic dust to look like humans . Maybe he wanted to show his true personality?
First time I played Kled I put on some instrumental bluegrass bgm. That match was a low elo back and forth dumpster fire, and his personality and the music made it that more magical.
I think kled is more of a concept than a actual character, he was firstly describe as the embodiment of noxus' army. giving him a story would actualy more inder him than anythings, cause if this dude is realy real, it would be crush by noxus' corruption.
hopefully we get a followup story to this once bandle city gets it's update maybe kled was a huge part of bandle city when he was there ? ( a mayor a sheriff anything really ) but then something forced him out of bandle city or made him want to go and make his own story for the world to hear
Want me to tell you what i want (i don't understand what no means): an episodic comic going over what some forgotten characters. I want a story where Corki, who is now a retired pilot (something in his lore) is now doing deliveries all over runeterra and doing small jobs for some of the jokier characters and learn more about them. I can see this being a fun mini-series or comic
Kled is also one of those characters who don't give a damn about your wishes. He also will murder you if you happen to be in between him and whoever he wants to skewer.
I like how instead of being the grey area of: "I don't give a fuck if you're noxian or not, this is mine." was turned into: "Everything Noxus is mine, so I fight for Noxus. "

Hi Necrit. I was looking at the Death's Dance splash art during a game and I noticed it had eyes, like Rhaast in scythe form. So I assume that it is a Darkin. Which got me thinking, like Death's Dance and the BORK, are there other items that have lore to talk about? If so would this be worth making a video on or not really?
He calls himself with all the titles that are supposedly given to him, so at the very least at some point he considered himself to be in the Noxian army.
I have to wonder, what other nations had Yordles way back at day 0? Is it possible Heimerdinger has been in In Piltover since before the disaster that destroyed Zaun, or even earlier?
Kled says something about Noxus such as "Noxus was created to train the faithful" or "I came here to cut off a piece of that noxian dream. And I ain't sharing my peace." For more just chack the video of e.g. Skin Spotlights.
Names drift over time, so Zaavan is probably an ancestor to the modern Zavaans. Son of Jame/Jame's son became Jameson, Charles' town to Charleston, and more. The names are too close to be disconnected over that much time. That said, I doubt that the connection really matters.
Man, I read the updated lore. Riot just changed it so instead of it being a fact that he was in every Noxian campaign, it became a rumour. Just they just can't be fucked with ma boi.
I have fallen in love with Kled's playstyle recently. It's just hilarious to run in and not get punished, but get rewarded instead. All other champs are punished except maybe Aatrox, Darius or Sylas which heal with their abilities.
That is pretty much a lie. You don't get rewarded for just running in. However Kled is such a champion that you don't really give a fuk what happens when you play him, you just want to murder people.
I want necrit in league to be a celestial that has the power to see EVERYTHING and know EVERYTHING that has happened since the beginning of time but hides as a regular person in runeterra what do you think about that?

IMO, The comical perspective of Kled is what makes him even more enjoyable as a player. I don't mind that he don't have a complete backstory, he just represent the Noxian values pushed to the extreme. May be those values have been built by observing Kled indeed since he is there since the fundation more or less.
