I completely disagree Mother’s Day is to celebrate with my church family, I have been a single mom with two successful young adults by Gods grace, I have been attending saddleback for 17 yrs and now this women comes with a sermon that is completely inappropriate she even said that at the beginning and still she could not keep her opinions for another day Or on another setting She also said she probably be bringing another inappropriate message for Mother’s Day next year, really? Wow I’m glad Kay and Rick never went up there to address the congregation this way The God I know is not a punishing God I no longer live the old ways I’m a new person So I’m I forgiven or not According to her?

The messages are meant to teach us about the word of God. It's unnecessary, unscriptural, and not edifying to include social themes like Mother's Day in a Sunday message

This was one of the great sermons of my life. I have only been to saddleback now two times. But the feeling of the Holy Spirit during this sermon was so strong. This sermon brought my heart back to the Lord. It was an amazing experience
