@@loricat5606 It should be somewhat hostile - LT has an annoying habit of driving by, throwing out some contestable historical tidbits, and then driving off and never coming back with a full explanation or even an attempt to answer questions in the comments. It's annoying AF quite frankly, and one reason why I have unsubscribed from his channel.

Isn't there value in arousing the viewer's curiosity? He's simply opened up an avenue for further exploration. (And the 60-second length is great for sharing fun facts with my Latin class! Some may be interested in learning more, some may not.)

I'm gonna look that one up! Good question. Back from researching: yes, that seems to be the case. because it was valuable for resources, people did in fact steal urine. A related phrase referring it is "piss poor".
