I favored psychedelic rock in 1969. With my apology to Billboard here's my favorite hits from 1969: Baby, It's You, Smith; Bad Moon Rising, CCR, Come Together, The Beatles; Easy Top Be Hard, 3 Dog Night; Fortunate Son, CCR; Get Ready, Rare Earth; Honky Tonk Woman, Rolling Stones; In The Times Of Our Lives, Iron Butterfly; Jumpin' Jack Flash, Rolling Stones; Touch Me, The Doors; Venus, Shocking Blue; Whole Lotta Lovin'. Led Zepplin; With A Little Help From My Friends, Joe Cocker. We used cruise the Sunset Strip, Hollywood Blvd. and Laurel Canyon from 1966 thru 1969 and saw all the great names of the rock club's marques. The first concert I attended after I turned 18 in June 1968 was at the Kaleidoscope Theater on Sunset Blvd. and saw Canned Heat and Vanilla Fudge. We saw The Doors twice in concert in 1969 and 1970. They were my favorite rock group of all time. Those were great days!!!

I was in Vietnam in 69 with the 1st Marine on stand down after being in the bush we would party hard with this music.Brings back memories Good and bad so sad for the ones who didn't come back.😢

51:34 Diana finally got top billing but without the other Supremes, namely Florence, Cindy and Mary there was no Supremes sound. It was those background vocals with Diana’s lead that made the Supremes sound
