The first time I heard that song was when they played on The Jay Leno Show way back when and my grandparents hated it but I loved it. Couldn’t get enough of it! I kinda wish Emo was more mainstream like it used to be though.

I remember when emo, metal,metalcore, punk, hard rock and hardcore used to be played on the mainstream regularly. It was basically the mainstream to be honest lol. Good times.

Being born in '99 I'm severely pissed I wasn't around during that period. My Chemical Romance, Hawthorne Heights, Brand New, Taking Back Sunday, and ofcourse The Used defined my taste of music. Not only did they all help me through the dark period of my life but also influenced me to play guitar and bass. Thankfully theres bands that are around today that listened to these guys and have that similar sound

Thankfully they are still active. You should do The Used- Meant To Die! The first cd I heard of The Used was Lies For Liars, but my favorite is Artwork. It is beautiful and it doesn’t matter what is normally said about it; all that matters is how I feel about it.

First time I saw “The Used” was at a “Warped Tour” in Indiana. They were on a side stage in the early part of the day. There were 3 people in front of their stage. Best experience of my life.

This song is a bop - been one of my go to’s since it dropped. The guitar is so pretty, the bass runs are dope, drums are punchy as hell and the lyrics and vocals are so robust. If you are looking for another joint to check out I suggest let it bleed. It’s sort of a dark horse from the band but it slaps. Amen.

Seeing the emo kids running around in the music video gives me so much nostalgia. Even tho I was too little at the time to really be apart of it my old sisters were and I became part of the scene kid emo thing in high-school in 2013 a d 14 during the later years of it all it still brings a tear to my eye to see it depicted in this music video. I wish I could go back. I always ssay if I could have one chance go go back in time and re live life id go back 20 years ago to when I was 4 but part of me wants to scrap that and just go back to high-school. Stressful times but in hind sight rhey were some of the best. You have this feeling in high school like you and all your friends are invincible and will take on the world together while you are smoking weed in the woods lol yheres something magical about that naivete.
