The Used did so damn much for me in my teenage years. They're a band that changed my life forever and they truly proved that they had incredibly important and beautiful things to say with their music!
They use auto-tune on all the dvds they recorded, just not at normal concerts. They used much less in this one than the others... lol i think it's funny how people who obviously don't know anything about music give your comment and others agreeing with you a thumbs down... as if it's an insult to mention auto tune. Most rock bands use autotune when they are recording a live dvd.

The used is still the used even without the screaming... he had surgery on his vocal cords because of this virus thing there or something. But they are still the best band on the planet!!! not trying to be a fan girl but is bert not looking spiffy in this video?!?!?!?! :DDDDDDDD hahaha
Yeah this is one of my favorite concerts from them and is the one I always think about when listen to those songs, Burt’s screaming was perfect and it was captured 100%
Agreed... All the other albums were trash imo. And quinn/brandon left or got kicked or whatever. they coulda been something much greater if they woulda stuck together
And this was during the time when Video Camera phones weren't invented yet, so you actually get to see the whole crowd enjoy the song and go crazy. Fuck, those were the days!!!

Fairly certain I seen them on this tour, around 03-04, the energy was nuts, and I agree about the phones, everyone was just dancing and singing along. So happy I got to see the original line up.
I saw them twice for the self titled shows, once for the love death tour and once for LFTL album. All were amazing. Then saw em last year for the 20th anni show....very sad how he didn't scream like before.
So I actually just saw them last Sunday lol I know this comment is old but the whole show was amazing. He is sober and sounds absolutely beautiful!!!! If you get a chance to see them it’s worth it I promise.
ok, all the live videos I've seen of bands playing in america, the gigs look really boring, crowd wise that is. I mean in England or Germany or Australia, the crows goes crazy, people dont just cram in and then pogo, people actually dance, and there is space to breathe
TheUsed is just. . . . Amazing.! To say the least.! This preformance was totally boss.! I would give my Hands to see Them again.! Cuz the first time doesn't really count if you didn't know 'em.lol
deefinitely not. it's the way bert hold the mic that produces that kind of sound when he sings. he sounds that way live as well. i'm not denying that there might have been some pitch correction, but veeerry minimal tampering if at all.

@@begang679It wouldn't be the first time someone at The Used HQ scrubbed a few comments. Their Facebook page was a shitshow when they unceremoniously announced Quinn's departure (if you could call it that). The 'delete comment' button had a busy few days after that debacle. (Edit: Whoops, I replied to the wrong person. Oh, well.)
This performance is amazing! too bad they aren't as intense as they used to be :( reminds me of Mudvayne, watch an older performance of Nothing to Gein compared to their new performance. It's just not as intense. Bert and Chad have some of the greatest screams ever.
I'm sorry but how did they sell out? I'm extremely curious. Please enlighten me because obviously my concept of them being the most amazing guys and loving all their music has been a complete lie.
Selling out is a phrase people most often use incorrectly. Do your research on what a sell out is because you speak, because if the Used are sell outs then that would make every band in the history of music a sell out. All bands grow and change, it is a part of personal growth and business
Jonathan Matias I would say hes perhaps referring to the more pop focused sound of the new album. Its mainstream sound could be considered them trying to make their sound more accessible to a bigger audience to make money. Though I don't really like the song writing on the new album, I don't think its pop sound is a bad thing - its just different. They experimented with the Ocean Of The Sky EP a lot so they probably just wanted to write some simpler songs. I wouldn't call it selling out.
@ChantelLynn95 proper screaming doesn't hurt or 'beat up' your voice at all actually. and Bert is an amazing screamer using proper technique so that why it doesn't hurt his throat. :) just thought i'd let you know

Mad props to the guitarists... Not only do they have ability to PLAY the music with insane skill, but they can also multitask and bounce around while playing it... Skill dude, i can barely play guitar let alone move around while doing so without fucking up completely. kudos
@thejoshguyer Haha yeah, he sang with all he had, pushing himself well past the limit. And his..unique type of scream, just fucked him up xD I think all bands would puke if they tried as hard as Bert.
