Nice video! I went looking for a phono stage to partner with my Hegel H390 integrated amp. I listened to several up to £3000 and couldn’t find better synergy than the V10. I love it!
Of all the phono stages you've reviewed over the years where does this one rank this type of information helps us folks that don't have Hi-Fi stores in our area and by the way I just bought the Q acoustics concept 50 based on your recommendation. I'll be powering them with a Dodd battery-powered tube preamp and a musical fidelity Poweramp. I have been listening to Martin Logan sequels for 30 years how do you think the sound will differ thanks Ron I've been watching your channel for 10 years at least back at the beginning when you first started always enjoy your channel.
Always a great review Ron. I’m hoping that by pure osmosis I will learn all I need to know by watching these… even if I don’t currently understand 3/4 of it all 😂. You’re killing it… keep them coming.
Thanks Ron. Looks like a really nice piece of gear. It’s cool that it’s a dual mono design, and I like the +5dB and +10dB aspect too. Seems like it’d be able to run any cartridge with ease. How does it compare to your Modwright phono pre? Thanks again, Ron. Great overall review as usual. 🔊😊🎶
Oh WoW i see some nice Yamaha NS-2000a speakers in the backround. I know they will sound amazing. My Yamaha NX-N500 actives network speakers sound amazing for their little size.
Hi Ron, i've never used a phono preamp just the ones built into AVR's and now my Yamaha CX-a5000 pre amp. im curios on the difference from using this Hegel vs the built in one on your R-N2000A? I'm only using mm cartridges(audio technia AT-VM95EN) on a 70's Sanyo TP-625 so nothing high end.
@@philrob4468 That is true, but what I really meant was a video on the final product, the details, the final materials used, the last minute touches... You know, kind of a home warming party video.
Schiit has dropped numerous hints it’s coming out with a higher end phone pre-amp. Tubeless but hopefully two inputs and a built in power supply. I suspect it will be the size of the bifrost DAC and about the same cost.
