I had my first child back in April, I completely feel for you Phil 😅 Have loved the content over the lockdown period, has given me lots of enthusiasm to get on with my own cars 🤣
That conversation during the drive is a major reason why I watch. You guys are just about the same level of crotchety and sarcastic as I am. I just need to get my toy budget up to par now.
I appreciate the agg that comes with engine swaps but you lot nail it every time buzzing for the v10 m3 resurrection though I think its M car perfection would love a crack at building my own one day
Probably your best video for a long time with the journey banter and age related woes...ha Thats coming from a clio and new baby owner living on the outskirts of brummingham
I remember those sleepless new born kids days Phil, 10 weeks without proper sleep, then 3 years of getting up, still shattered at 5am every day and when you have kids, there's very little time for selfish fun stuff, which is why I'm still driving a VW Transporta and mines 22 now...lol
Oh shoot. I just realized you guys work right up the road from my aunties house. I live in the US but my family is from GB and every time I go visit I mean to look up the shop.
Loved this video, especially taking the piss out of the man bags 😂. The 90’s trends are back in fashion so we may see a return of Spliffy jeans and Eclipse jackets 😂
Hi Phil, Really enjoyed this video! Well I enjoy all the videos but your conversation with Jay on the way to Gaz was good fun. Can't wait for the next update! Take care mate and have a good week 😁👍 Oh and hopefully you can get more than a couple hours sleep with the little one haha 😂
Gaz had a good rub of the rear inners arches on the way in. If you are suffering from the dreaded rot in that area I would love it if you could do a little coverage on how you address it. They all have it, but only approach I've seen people take is to order whole new inners and cut them up. 👍
@@driftworks thanks for the reply and I'm officially jealous of your arches 😂 have fun and look forward to the next installment. I'm just up to the brake line replacement on my project 💩 so the vids have been a great reference 👍
I have just had mine done, cut out and made new, the full repair panels were far too much money ! Also i know what was in the box marked fragile.....i wanted that!
Looks like Jay has just been told off by Phil in the start of the video go and stand in the corner Jay don't be so cruel Phil give the man a pay rise 😂😂
Hahaha, Phil you are as vain as I am having to spray down the tractor before driving it 😆 Thanks for peek inside the other side of the shop. Can't wait to see what Gaz has in store for the M3 👍
Ya being next to craig right there is worth staying and making the space work unless he wanted to move with but thats a whole new deal hahahaha i think you guys are a perfect distance though now not to far and maybe too close all ready ;) haha @Driftworks
The arguments me and my missis had about getting up in the night for our 2 kids were biblical We wouldn't speak about it the next day, called it the unmentionables 😁 Got through fine, 8 and 12 now wouldn't change anything
Kings Heath lol... 😁🤣🤣 And I only go to Digbeth for one reason! 👍 And any new premises has to be away from that bloody bolt factory lol 🤣🤣 mad that Gaz won that GT-R, lucky bugger!
Redditch is a industrial town with lots of fields and trees, big warehouses, close to gaZ ....., and much easier for me to come get bits and have colum fix my bucket. Still got our share of yoof though
That's a good question, what has happened to the youth! Enjoyed the video and you guys have such a good relationship. I run a business and my aim has been to build a place to have a good atmosphere, get the work done but be like a big family. Nearly 2 years and i'm still working building a team. What you do and the way you go on about things, it really is inspirational for me. Keep up the great work. Looking forward to the next video 👍
Thanks Sam. This is the very fun end of the business as it's not really a part of the real business. There's still a lot of very difficult not fun stuff to do in the part that actually has to make money 👍
Spliffy jeans, that's a blast from the past. Those early 90's market traders really did get about! Did you lot have Gravity x jeans and Eclipse bomber jackets too? Haha, Whoever the fuck made these clothes must have made millions :O
These projects are finally coming to an end. It’s been a journey. The question is, what project car have you already set your sights on for Jay to work on next? Haha
What is the make and model of the silver car at 1:01? It almost looks like a 1964 Chevy Impala 🇺🇸. Great work as always, gents. I love your M3s, particularly the beautiful e30.👍🏻
Thanks for the reply. All I know is I'm sure they don't have as many awesome projects happening around the shop as you guys do. Thank you for always sharing them!
