This may be similar to what I’m trying to determine. I’m clearly no crypto expert. So let’s say you invest $100 Bitcoin. How does the Bitcoin increase in value? There is no tangible asset being created to increase the initial $100 investment that I’m aware of. If I invest $100 into Amazon they put those funds into r&d, infrastructure, etc... in the hopes the company will benefit and grow with smart decisions. However, with Bitcoin where is the value of my $100 investment allowing growth and thus increasing the value?

Every defense of cryptocurrencies, like this video, has two arguments which I don't get. First argument is that crypto's utility lies in it's ability to be better currency. (But that means cryptocurrency has no value, other than being currency. We have no real use of it.) Second argument is that Bitcoin is not a fraud because other things are fraud too. That claim has 2 problems: one, if other things are fraud, you didn't prove Bitcoin is not a fraud; two, Facebook and everything in digital world has value, we use Facebook, Google, RU-vid for something. Therefore, I see arguments in this video as dodging and lying about Bitcoin. What am I missing? Set of all investors together are always in loss because of the miners' fee and investors in those set can only make money if other investors lose the same amount of money. Most importantly, most people don't buy cryptocurrency because of it's supposed utility (easier transactions). They buy it as speculation. Then they try to convince other people that cryptocurency has utility, so they can make money from their speculation. After all, ability to send someone 1000$ via internet cannot be worth 3000$.

They don't repatriate their funds to the US for tax reasons sure, but those funds still need to be secured against seizure, which if done through bitcoin for example is better (private key ownership is 10/10ths of the law). 2. In many use cases you don't need the crypto currency on top of the blockchain, as he said in the bond trading back office example. In others you do, like the store of wealth one - it doesn't work without the token (which has features like a cap on supply and incentives to secure the system)

Crypto may make the process a lot easier but we go into the debate of value. 2. In the first part of the video his whole point was the store of wealth and not for the block chain aspect. I am for the block chain and not for supply and demand to store wealth.

Because on the global scale it is still so small hence the volatility. There is over 100 trillion US in the bonds market worldwide. Not to mention stocks, commodities, housing etc. Crypto at its peak was still less than 2 trillion. Less than 4% of the population has crypto so it is still heavily impacted by criticism and mass movements in the stock markets. Wait and see in 10-20 When 50% of the population own crypto. For now.... just HODL

You don't really need someone to tell you how to invest your coins, you can make research on your own and also try doing it yourself first.

for me the best and safest way to go about this is by investing in a platform that will mine, trade and reinvest whatever crypto currencies you have at hand. that's how i go about mine, all i do is fund my wallet and after that i instruct the platform to do whatever i want with a mild price no matter the fluctuation of any coin you want at that particular time, either trading or mining it will all be handled by the platform and when production is due and ready to hash, i cash out immediately and have it sent directly to my wallet or local bank account. all these done effortlessly, they can also go about theirs the same way.

There is also this company called tenx that gives you a card to make purchases and uses your cryptocurrency and turn them into fiat in real time (but me perosnally, I would still HODL, especially with that 1 mill banded claim they have.
