Your reactions are certainly a highlight of my Sundays! Fun yet thoughtful. I’m more forgiving of Elena. She really is trying to deal with a lot. She’s drawn to Stefan even though she knows how dangerous it is. She can’t even talk anything through with Bonnie, her best friend, because she promised to keep Stefan’s secret. Stefan really is the only person she can talk to right now. It’s messed up. Can’t wait for your take on the next episode, “History Repeating.”

I haven't come across a reactor yet - who has hated Lexi. Lexi was an amazing character. Frigging Damon. tsk tsk .

Sorry but even after 7 or 8 watches of this whole series, I don't understand why people think she's so special. She was there for one episode and was a manipulator who actually thought it was okay to disrespect and hurt Damon whilst a guest in his home. Most men would have tossed her out on her ear then and there. Stefan allowed her to be like that so uh so much for being a decent brother. Stefan didn't want to go to the party but she got her way. She read Stefan the riot act when she saw Elena like it was any of her business who he dates. She could have also explained who she was instead of letting Elena think the worst when she came face to face with her. I do agree that Damon went too far in killing her to protect himself and Stefan from being discovered - he could have found another way. Had they been nicer to one another they could have all worked together against the threat. I'm guessing there's more to their animosity towards one another than we were allowed to see.

4:32 Oh I love it! I love that the founding families have caught up, but Damon's still several steps ahead, laughing at them 😂 "It's like a Capri-Sun." I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT LIKE THAT! That would have been a fitting sponsorship in the ad break at the time of the episode 😂 Oh I so agree with you Jenny -- this series was made for bingeing. I watched it for the first this past year, I think -- but I could not imagine watching this with ads on TV, and waiting for a whole week between episodes. I don't know if you ever watched it, but another series that was originally written by LJ Smith, The Secret Circle was on what used to be Sky Living back in the day, and I fully gave up watching it only because of the breaks and the waiting between episodes 😂 Poor Erin though, having to wait! If I were Erin, I'd nab the remote, and be like: "HAVE FUN, EDITING JENNY!" as we start another episode 😂 Once again, a join to watch along with you all!

thats what the show is good at, they make u love a character so much and then it hits more when they get killed off. Lexi was one of my favourite characters

@@yanksrgreat Did no one ever teach you any manners or how to be nice? Silly question...clearly not. Damon has definitely done some horrible and questionable things.. Stefan on the other hand is a manipulative liar who stalked a 17 year old girl because she looked like someone else, wheedled his way into her life without being honest with her. How is he any better?
