“I knew one of you would try to stop me, it was just a 50/50 guess on who” 😩 this episode had me stressed bc we don’t know of a werewolf bite cure and Tyler bit Damon and then Jenna got lured out and is at the ritual site in transition. It really felt like so much was going on yet there were still two episodes until the finale 😭
It was refreshing to hear that Elena didn’t want to be a vampire bc usually in shows once the human falls in love with a vampire they want to be turned. You guys touched on exactly how I feel about the situation bc like Aqeel and Kyle, I think Elena should be able to choose and she did want to be able to decide if she wanted kids later on but I also agree with Aiden, she’s 17 and the choice in question is literally her getting herself killed. That’s not something that someone would just support if they know their loved one are planning to do it. Also, the elixir wasn’t a 100% guaranteed either and she wouldn’t get to make choices about kids etc. if she ended up dying. I disagree with what Damon did and he should’ve known better but I do get his desperation. Doesn’t make it right but I get the motive behind it. I do however like that although Damon let his emotions and fear of losing Elena get the best of him and made a bad decision, he realized his mistake and was trying to think of a way to postpone the ritual. He risked his life getting Caroline and Tyler hoping that it would ruin the ritual. It’s been one episode of having Klaus actually there and already you can see how careful he is. He has a back up plan for everything 😭 Feel better guys and thanks for the uploads 💕
Stefan shrugging when Damon looks at him while they’re at the house speaking with Elijah and Elena says that if the elixir doesn’t work then she’ll just be dead…like sir? That’s your reaction? 😭 I always laugh in the scene where Klaus takes Elena right in front of Stefan bc the fact that he actually closed his eyes and stood there like:🧍🏼
what is he supposed to do though?klaus is a 1000 yr old hybrid and he could easily kill stefan and then harm elena then and there...becoming impulsive and doing stuff isnt always right and gets people in more trouble which is what happened with damon, he got impulsive and fed him her blood and then he tried to fix it which got jenna killed and he knows the risks but they have no choice except the vampire thing which was totally wrong and violating elena or running away which would lead to the death of elena's family
@@sharmisthachakraborty287 ppl in love do impulsive that's what make it realistic. What Stefan did is right but not relatable when your loved one is getting sacrificed
@@simranjeetkaurbhullar105 i disagree, some shit damon does is really unrelatable to me and the same goes for stefan...they really had no choice , it was a tough situation and stefan already knew klaus was coming to take her and it was only possible to stop him after the ritual...he couldnt do anything while damon messed up, i understand damons pov but forcing vampire blood down her throat especially after hating stefan for the same thing was horrible
So what’s he supposed to do? Going toe to toe with an original almost hybrid all by himself? He needs to stay to think of a solution rather than acting on impulse. Impulsive decisions never work out fine, someone will always get hurt which is exactly what happened with Damon. His actions are understandable but not right. Later Elena even cries out how badly she just wants to be human and have a normal life. Stefan knew Elena’s death wouldn’t hurt as much as would hurt to see her living and blaming herself for “staying alive” whilst people around her dies.
@@sharmisthachakraborty287 Klaus isn’t going to harm Elena then and there, he needs her alive for the sacrifice. He’s waited years to break the curse, he’s not about to do something stupid after finally having everything he needs. I didn’t say Stefan’s supposed to face off with Klaus I just find it funny that he truly closed his eyes in that moment lol. Also ironic to me how he just shrugged when Elena said she would just be dead if the elixir doesn’t work when he’s the one who was previously telling her how tragic it is to not even fight to survive. They didn’t have other choices back then except possibly running when he was saying all of that yet he still wanted her to not just sacrifice herself. Damon was impulsive and wrong for feeding her his blood but he also spent the entire episode trying to ruin the ritual, wanted to be used instead of Jenna, saved Caroline and Tyler, and told Klaus it was all his doing. I thought Stefans reaction to what Elena said was odd and him closing his eyes was funny, I said nothing about him trying to fight Klaus.

idk if someone has said this, but you dont need to be human to turn into a vampire. if you kill a witch with vampire blood in their system, she will transition the same way. if she becomes a vampire, she will stop being a witch.
Whenever I come to this episode I think that it's a good thing Damon messed up and force fed Elena his blood because otherwise Caroline and Tyler would be dead. For all of Elena's not wanting to let her friends die for her and wanting to do things her way and Stefan's putting his faith in Elena's instincts and worrying about collateral damage, they did not do a very good job of keeping tabs on their friends. Did anybody even know Caroline and Tyler were captured? Damon's "mistake" was far more beneficial in saving two of her friends than Elena and Stefan's decision in following Elijah's plan.
@@JessLoveyy I agree that what Damon did was totally selfish. I just never realized that if he hadn’t done it then Caroline and Tyler would have died in the sacrifice. It doesn’t have anything to do with Damon’s motives, more so just an accidental domino effect of his actions by feeding Elena his blood.
@@JessLoveyy I will tell you why and how. It's because I am biased and like him the most out of all the characters of the show called The Vampire Diaries wherein 90% of the characters are murderers and are selfish and cruel at some point in their life. He happens to be the 'Fictional character' that entertains me the most out of them all.
@@JessLoveyy because damon is the only character that doesnt try to lie about himself,or try to convince himself that he is good, i mean how many people has stefan and caroline killed but are deemed as the good characters.just cause damon acts like a jerk. and ofcourse it doesnt justify damon doing something this bad to elena but think about what she wouldve done if her friends died because she was too caught up in her suicide mission
Spoiling us with 2 episodes in a row! Elijah has a solid plan, appreciate that he told Elena it might not work. Putting Tyler's mum in the hospital was diabolical. I understand Damon's motivation but forcing that on Elena is so messed up. Klaus just casually turning up at the bar to threaten Damon and Alaric is such a great scene. Stefan helping Elena enjoy her humanity, and process her possible death is so sweet. Matt was definitely the last person expected to save Damon. Of course Klaus has backups, he's prepared af. Damon being bit is such a great episode ender.

Even as a true Damon fan, I strongly disagree with what he did to Elena. I understand that he would do anything to protect the girl he loves, but not like this. He took away Elena's choice, just like Stefan did to him those years ago. It's frustrating because, this is the second time in the series that Damon has force-fed Elena his blood. And..he tried to force Jeremy to become a vampire as well in 2x1. I thought we were getting past this. But I get it, it's part of his character development. He takes one step forward, two steps back. It's frustrating to me as someone who is rooting for him. I wish you all a quick recovery!

Personally this is the only time I found it frustrating bc back then he was the antagonist trying to get the grimore he needed to have Katherine back and he didn’t even really have a friendship with Elena at the time. This episode, he messed up though. Definitely interesting development wise bc it felt like a reminder from the writers that although he has changed in some ways, he still has these types of moments 😩
with tvd and a lot of different media i think it's important to UNDERSTAND where they are coming from but not necessarily agree with everything i think that's the difference between a fan and an anti (antis usually don't understand the character) which is why i honestly like most characters but especially with tvd any character you like is going to do something you're not okay with/agree with i'm glad at least damon realizes what he did was wrong even if he had the intention of saving her life

History in full circle its hypocritical how some TVD stans vilify a young Stefan for doing the exact same thing an older Damon did to Elena for the 2nd time...he did it to Jeremy too 2×1 and now won't hold him accountable Really wish the writers gave Elena more autonomy. So frustrating how Damon almost always limits and wont respect her choices...it weakens her character
why are you calling Damon selfish for feeding Elena his vampi blood? It is literaly the second most selfless thing he has done (the first is in a flash back coming soon), he is literaly the one doing everything to and kipping her alive, while Stefan is sleeping Damon takes action, he didn't turn her into a vampire he just fed her blood as a prevention so she will be revived and not lost losing her life if anyone decides to kill her as she surrenders herself which is needed when you think on how impulsive the vampires are Damon has no trust in his alike because he is a great exemple of impulsive, literaly his plan B is better than nothing.

@@vhana57 That's one of the reasons I like their reactions, admitting when their favorite characters are at fault. And it helps that there's 3 of them, so we get different POVs.
People say everyone divides into team Damon or Stefan after this but the reality is that’s the “shippers” everyone gets that in the end Damon does the things that need to be done to guarantee a win. Sometimes selfishly but still without him as a plot driver many things would fail without him and his plans or actions. Stefan is always a person who either in the end understands the motive or agrees with it. True tvd fans love both brothers lol

what damon did here was wrong though which is why he was hellbent on fixing his mistake , it guaranteed a win for him as elena would be alive but it would be hell for elena

She’d be alive though in the end as well instead of dying and then also never getting the chance to have kids and live her life etc. It’s a double edge sword with being a vampire but in the end it’s better to live and fight for your life then saying it would be hell and ending it. Yeah I don’t think him taking that choice is right so he did try fixing it. But I’m talking about the people who think it’s divided between the brothers from now on.
@@vhana57 I mean many. And like I said in my comment, I haven’t met tvd fans who split into two unless there are shipping reasons behind their choice. Stelena fans will constantly argue with Damon’s choices, and vice versa. They don’t even say it’s about the ships when they argue they just argue the brothers, but the true motive is ALWAYS who they like better for Elena. Because like I did say true fans understand both brothers are actually great characters for the show, and in general see the good in Stefan and the intention with Damon.

@@vhana57 like I have friends who watched this and loved Damon the most and thought he was a fantastic character and got mad at me when I brought up all the toxic tendencies he has. It was just weird with how many people think overall he was good but just spontaneous. Lol.
