My view on Elena is that she subconsciously refuses to put energy into figuring out which brother she's in love with, because they both complete her in different ways, and losing one of them will mean losing a part of herself. It's obviously very selfish of her, but we have to keep in mind that she's a teenage girls who has already lost so many people she cares about. Her parents are all dead (biological and adoptive), her aunt was sacrificed and she had to send her brother away. If she makes the final choice between Damon and Stefan, she fears that she'll lose yet another person she loves. It's not fair towards either one of the brothers, to play both fields like she does. But I can still understand where she's coming from. And she WILL grow.

SPOILER . . For the record, I really don't think she fell properly in love with Damon until after she turned in s4. She's definitely attracted to him atm, but I don't think she's in love with him just yet

I what reading the comments and seeing people hate on stefan , damon or anyone else in the show . Idk if it’s just me but I love the whole cast and the originals Some people don’t notice this but Bonnie does lose so much and she does deserve better Bonnie will always be one of the best characters ever
Nothing ever truly ends on TVD. All the storylines come back around again. This won't be the last time you will see Esther or Finn. Also, Elena is just so aggravating. I think you'll only start understanding her better in season 4. She is just very self-righteous currently. Klaroline are my loves. I'm sad that you won't post episode 19 till next week, but I'm happy for your son's communion. Relax and plan for that. Thanks for the uploads!
Kol is actually the best brother a girl could ever ask for. He is not the one who daggers you, he is not the one who pretends to be noble or wants to kill you, he is the brother who side you in trouble making, and the brother with whom you can have fun.
elena's big personality trait is martyr. she personally hates when people try to save her so she tries to make the big move to save them instead. she's constantly fed up with being the one that everyone always tries to protect and she lashes out by constantly putting her life on the line for others. this is kind of why i have a bit of preference with elena and damon vs. elena and stefan because her and damon are big on self sabotage and always thinking their the one at fault and i think they can grow better together to learn this is not the case. i think a lot of people fail to realize just how similar damon and elena are. they are both impulsive, both a bit selfish (thinks more about how they feel personally vs. others) and both lash out (but in different ways). why people don't tend to see this is because elena is presented as 'good' and her actions are to only protect others and elena does care more about the general population but it doesn't negate the fact of how similar they are. hell, damon seemed pretty similar to elena when he was a human. damon has finally found someone he can relate to, elena. as far as her feelings go she's obviously very conflicted right now. i think she does't WANT to be in love/attracted to damon but she can't help it and that's why she does't totally go for it because she feels like it's something she shouldn't do but she can't hide her feelings. stefan, she still loves but doesn't like what he is now (or doesn't know who he is now) and she has trouble letting go because of her strong feelings towards him and what they used to be. so yeah, at this point she's really conflicted and she does have a hard time but i think it's the worse in the third and fourth season since she's just starting to really love damon and deal with her fresh feelings of her and stefan not that long ago.
I think it's not that hard to understand Elena. She is only trying to hide her feelings for Damon because she feels like is a betrayal to Stefan... l feel like she don't believe that her story with Stefan has ended yet, she is still holding on to the relationship she had with him, even more now that he is slowly coming back to "normal" Stefan. I don't know if it's that easy for her to let go of him as I think most of Delena shippers think. And look... I shipp Delena SO FUCKING MUCH, but I kinda understand her after a while.

Don’t you dare apologize Elena and Rebekah are so sexy together and even though they don’t get along I see room for development and depth if the authors were to explore their storyline 3. Okay here’s the thing yea there were times I was frustrated with Elena but looking back on it I think I get her a lot more than other people because she has more of a storyline that isn’t always as straight foreword her feelings are conflicting and it’s more of an internal journey probably one they could’ve gone into more depth but I kind of like how it’s not obvious to everyone else exactly what she’s feeling because a lot of what is happening to her is how she is feeling not directly what is being done to her and she’s still trying to figure it out some of the time 4. I’m actually part dinosaur
You can always count on Damon to make the hard decisions and stick to them no matter how much the people around him will hate him for it. It is one of the reasons why he is making fav.

I felt really bad for Klaus this episode. With Caroline he kept putting himself out there and being open and honest, and it just kept getting thrown back in his face. But here, it was worse because they used it to go after his whole family. And that is when it becomes kinda obvious that he really does care about his siblings. I mean, the dagger didn't effect him, it may have made him slightly uncomfortable, but it didn't do the same to him as the others, so other than the fact that he loves his siblings, he had no reason to be upset by that. He cares too much, in my opinion. They always say that he doesn't care enough, but it's the complete opposite really. He cares so much that he tries to hide it because he knows it'll be used against him.
i understand liking lesbian relationships and wanting more of them. i am the same way with male/male ships... but to be like "kiss her!" in every scene with two females it can get a bit much.
Heda DE are in an actual relationship though. There’s actual sexual tension in their scenes???? I’m not shipping every Male/male ship just when two people have a scene together. But whenever two females are together we get the same comments.
Everytime. Everytime Rebekah and Elena share a scene, "are you gonna kiss???" ? It's too much. We get it, you ship them, no need to freak out everytime. Love your reactions though, it's just exhausting with all the Rebekah/elena shipping. Try keeping some of it to yourself, please.
It’s the same thing with delena scenes, Juli usually says “kiss kiss”, you are not complaining about that. Juli is allowed to say whatever she wants and ship whoever she wants. If you don’t like it then don’t watch her reactions.
I'm sure I'll get hate for saying this but I don't agree with the fact that Bonnie is the one who always gets hurt, yes she's suffered a lot but everyone on this show has and probably Elena has suffered the most, people threaten Elena's life to manipulate Damon or Stefan or her friends into doing what they want and Elena hasn't ever asked for anyone to do what they do to help save her they all do it willingly, Elena always tries sacrificing herself so the people she loves doesn't suffer but the thing is no one let's her do it everyone always ends up going against what Elena tries and that's why people get hurt not because Elena wants them to get hurt to save her, and half the things Bonnie has done on this show magic wise has been Bonnie's own choice Elena isn't forcing or asking people to do what they do but yet Elena is the one who gets all the blame and I feel like if I were Elena it would start to weigh on me the fact that her life is constantly in danger because she's a doppelganger or because other characters put her life in danger to make someone she cares about comply to what they want and than everyone turns around and blames and hates on Elena isn't fair. She's a teenager trying to figure life out she makes mistakes and people act like she's does things to be malicious on purpose and dis on her and it annoys me, Elena is an amazing character I wish more people could see that

Elena is being selfish with the brothers and she acknowledges that but they both mean so much and they both helped her find herself in different ways. She feels like if she chooses one, the other will abandon her and it’d be like not only has she lost her parents (adoptive and birth), Jenna and she sent Jeremy away but she’d also loose someone else that she loves and a part of her. ~SPOILER ALERT~ I honestly feel so bad for Elena! I mean by season 5 she’s lost basically everyone. Her parents died(adoptive) in a car crash, then freaking Isobel like killed herself right in front of Elena, Jenna was sacrificed in front of Elena, John killed basically killed himself to save Elena, she had to send Jeremy away to protect him, then freaking Alaric and herself die, and then Jeremy dies, Damon made Elena turn off her humanity(HUDGE mistake) she kills someone, Damon kills Matt right in front of her, he luckily had the ring, then freaking Bonnie did a spell that brought Jeremy back but she died. And oh my god. And let’s keep in mind that she was only 16-18 years old during the course of these events like.... that’s a lot for a teenage girl to handle. Edit: at least she had Alaric, Jeremy and her humanity by the end of season 5
This episode made my STRONG dislike of Julie Plec come to the forefront, with the constant hell Bonnie goes through for these people who never seemed grateful.
I hate Rebeka a spoiled around the world to hurt and useless that there is with Elena .... Rebecca must remember that it was she with klaus who ruined Elena's life among other things by destroying the relationship with Stefan ... the strange thing that many like Rebeka ... I don't know what's beautiful about her character 😅😅

they fixed damon when they made the tv show but elena is while better it takes alot more work to push book elena who is a very selfish shallow person and make her redeemable bigest flaw of the books is elena is just a very shallow look at me populer girl sort of character
