Nina Dobrev's acting is too much. She is so talented, I can't even comprehend how much emotion she has evoked from me over the past six years. Even after TVD ends, I'm going to make sure I keep up with her acting career because she is going to go so far. Her and the rest of this cast. They are all so extremely talented. I honestly can't think of another actor/actress who could play their roles as convincingly as they do. They ARE their characters.

You go from being the girl who's parents died, getting involved with vampires, people wanting to kill you, everyone you love dieing, having to kill someone, I guarantee you will cry.

She looked pretty bad ass killing him. THEN she got all guilt and hunter cursed. Boo. The one time she's a bad ass.

Elena's compassion is her biggest gift. Y'all need to chill. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I would probably cry as much as she did.. I sure wouldn't want to know that I killed someone.. Especially after being told to do it.

Elena crying makes me feel really awkward like Idek it just does especially if Damon and Stefan are watching her

Lmao and she said Stefan treats her like a broken toy...dude this is what Stefan didn't wanted..he didn't wanted her to feel the guilt that's why he was teaching her but everytime damon enters and made everything complicated..like he told her not drink from blood bag enjoy her vamparism when Stefan was teaching her self control..damon should have understand that Elena could have enjoyed her vamparism whole life

This still confuses me....she kills this guy and feels guilt. But she kills Kol, and his whole bloodline, as well as Finns but she feels nothing.

I loved Katherine. I hated Elena. Both portrayed by Dobrev.

I have no hate for Nina but Elena is so annoying. All her good characters are fine but I don’t like her. Seriously like how she’s playing two brothers. She clearly knows Damon is hopelessly in love with her. Yet she keeps teasing him. Like she gets angry when he doesn’t give attention to her. Stefan being a good guy has so much trust on her. If she really loves Damon then she should choose. Or atleast ask for time and give them both a break for some time. They ain’t gonna abandon her. The thing is someone you love tells they were with u for moral reasons and not because they were actually in love with you is so heartbreaking. Also she should try to strengthen herself. I thought her whining will reduce after becoming a vampire but hell no. And for all of those saying she’s been through so much. So were others. And all for her. They lost their family members too for her like Caroline, Matt, Bonnie and even Jeremy. Yet they are so much patient with her. They all at one point went through torture and pain. And Bonnie. Remember how anyone ever showed interest in her was because she was a witch. Except for Jeremy. People be sacrificing for her the least she can do is stand up for herself. Or atleast stay out of trouble. Like why she went to SAVE Jeremy. As if Stefan doesn’t exist. She told her to trust him. Is this TRUST? One of the worst character development in this show .

he is not the reason why she is suffering! this is elena we're tlking about here! Elena is the most compassionate, caring, humane, bla, bla, bla person there is in mystic falls. when she was turned, BOOM, her compassion went crazy and now she is fighting so hard the urge to be a true vampire and take blood. it is in her nature to kill and she hates it. this is not stefan's fault nor damon's fault and i am so tired of everyone blaming stefan.

Not that killing Connor was good or anything but I gotta say I like badass Elena. I was almost excited, but then she just went back to being a cry baby again. Ugh!

never claimed to be a stelena fan, i enjoy the show for being a tv show, i dont cry like a baby over who elena chooses, i watch the show for sheer entertainment.

I love how Elena looks to Damon and says "You told me to kill him, so I did." You could see how much she trusts him to guide her through all of this. And his face *tear* when he realizes he told her the wrong thing. This isn't really a 'Delena' moment but you could definitely feel and see something happening here. In some way, Elena wanted Damon to be proud of her=) GO DELENA

Ik this isn't Elena's best moment but i ahte her "Like, Let me make stefan feel like crap just because he worked with Klaus so he could successfully get me the biggest gift of my life, a cure to vampirism; after I BROKE HIS HEART and slept with his narcissistic brother 4 hours after our break up…" attitude

Why are people yelling at Elena for crying? You do realize that she just KILLED someone, right? I hate to break it to you but she's a brand new vampire with a thousand of different emotions going on at once. This is hard for Elena and truthfully, I think she has the full right to bawl her eyes out because she barely did it as a human. And finally, Stefan... you're time is limited. Damon, just wait... it's almost time for you to shine.

not gonna lie i love nina as an actor but i hated elena omg like she was playing damon and stefan and she had so much meltdowns expecting people to care for her and only her like there arent other people who were suffering a lot more than her

Someone always has to pick on Elena about being weak or a crybaby. I don't even like the girl bit I can admit that she's a fighter, she's been through more shit in two years than most people do in a lifetime. Even as a human, she was willing to go up against vampires to save her friends and brother, and she somehow manages to keep it together better than most people would. As for crying after killing this guy, despite the fact that he put her brother's life in danger, and would have killed her and her fellow vamp friends with no remorse, she's always been a compassionate person. Like Stefan told her, as a vampire, every feeling or trait would be heightened so yeah, this is the first time she's killed a human being and she's remorseful.

I mean, when I have food on my place I just grab for my napkin and wipe it off even if I don't have a napkin I just rub it on my sleeve or something because having stuff on my face bugs me. Saving Liz, killing Connor. That's the Delena parallel. "You missed." The parallel continues with their guilt. Damon goes on a blood bag diet, Elena suffers the hunters' curse. Huge in season 5 when Katherine kicks Stefan the stake, as well as Damon's comment to Katherine in 1x22. That's why he thanks "Elena" for deciding he was worth saving. "He has you to thank for that." Stefan wanted to kill Damon because he felt he deserved it. "You're a monster, and you deserve to die." Equal to the parallel, Connor is just as much a threat to Jeremy as Liz was to Stefan in 1x8. He couldn't change the fact that he raised their awareness of vampires, he could only try to fix it. Hard to turn a human into a vampire for this plan when he already has a past with Lexi. Said vampire might wanna take off rather than sit and drink with him.

Elena is probably the most annoying character she has both brothers wrapped around her little finger. Once the attention is lost she begs for it like a lost puppy like she’s more annoying then Bonnie and Matt combined. If she didn’t know the salvatores, she’ll be dead by now . This is why I much preferred the newer series Originals and legacies. Katherine was such a better character dk why people hate on her unlucky Elena she actually shows her emotions properly and doesn’t hide them

This is ridiculous! IF the human Elena would have ben even 1/1000 of this one, she would have felt guilt after killing Finn; yes she did kill him, she didn't pulled trigger, but she had her part! Anyway at least this show is showing a little bit of "killing someone is bad". I am curious about Jeremy what is he going to do now? He cannot be compelled and maybe he get to know now how MANY times Elena and Stefan compelled him forced their will upon him.
