@@matthewmann8969 that’s beside the point. The point in Stefan can be just as destructive as Damon when his feelings are hurt. He also drove Elena to the very bridge that represents all her childhood trauma. He bartered her life to get back at Klaus. He also forced fed his blood, which is the same thing he got mad at Damon about. Stefan is no better than Damon. He’s just self righteous and a hypocrite.
I like how stelena’s are quiet about this. Damon gets his heat broken, he kills Jeremy; Stefan gets his heart broken and he sacrifices a guys life to grow Jeremy’s hunters mark. Stefan and Damon are two sides of the same coin. Stefans perpetual guilt that does not negate that fact.
The measures Stefan went to just to get Elena back to human so she would be who Stefan wanted her to be was ridiculous and in the end it cost Jeremy his life and Elena's humanity because Stefan couldn't accept her as a vampire! SMH
Sirina Salvatore no he didn’t. he literally said “she isn’t supposed to be this person” he did this partly because she didn’t want it but mostly because he couldn’t love her. everything that stefan did after they broke up was to get her back into his arms again. elena didn’t really have hope for the cure, but she was learning how to accept this darker version of herself and learning what to do with the feelings that she had for damon. stefan doing this behind their backs, cutting jeremy, trying to compel him, was too far and sickening. the most damon ever did to change elena was when she defended him when he was killing the whitmore family because they tortured him in the fifties. he hated it so much that he refused to change her and he broke up with her. damon was willing to lose her if it meant that she would stay the person that she loved, and that he wanted her to be. damon hayes that he was changing her beliefs so much so that he let her go. and stefan here is willing to abuse jeremy and force him to kill this guy, to change who she is down to a SCIENCE. that’s not love. love is acceptance. and damon loves her as a vampire when stefan couldn’t even love himself.
Exactly. This is why I don’t support Stelena . Damon will love elena regardless of who she is but for Stefan he so fixed on her to be this specific person . The way stefan handled the break up was appalling . I’m starting not to like him anymore
this isn't about who did worse to Jeremy. it's about how after everything that they went through in previous adventures Damon was ok with losing Katherine as leverage if he was okay, hugged him after he told him bonnie was dead, helped him graduate, compelled him to take away his pain (more so the first time) and compelled him again because mystic falls was a dangerous place and his initial concern did come true "no ones going to make it out of this town alive", and Damon's relationship with Jeremy actually improved when Stefan does this number and it's basically automatically forgiven. it's kind of embarrassing how you ignore how Stefan didn't face ANY consequences to literally anything including this. I'm gonna repeat another comment because it matters what the motive was behind this at the end of the day because it really wasn't to hurt Jeremy but use him as a pawn when he supposedly has this great personality and is SOO empathetic. yeah, no. Jeremy was the hunter shouldn't he be strong enough to fight all vampire and werewolf and other monsters . Shouldn't Jeremy be strong enough to fight Stefan and Damien if he can fight 2 or 3 guys in the hallway at school .
