Katherine comes from a Time when there was no processed food or junk food. It’s normal that she wouldnt want to eat stuff from a vending machine. She knows it actually is poison in a way lol
Klaus: Oh yes, let's all take culinary criticisms from a Bulgarian. Katherine: You're Norwegian, I've seen what you people call sandwiches up there! Klaus: I built New Orleans, you're welcome. And I contributed greatly to Chicago's proud culinary tradition! Katherine: Right, think I'll got get a hotdog...with ketchup! Klaus: You will do no such thing! Katherine: And don't get me started on deep dish! Klaus: Chicago Deep Dish Pizza is not on trial! Katherine: It's an aboveground swimming pool for rats filled with marinara sauce!
@@aronsmith2688she was the best character until season 5. This season they really started to butcher her character. The end of last season too. She was a badass in s2 and 3.
Who's heart broke when Qetsiyah was telling Damon how the doppelgängers are fated? And then again when Elena came in to get Stefan while Damon was coming to? Poor Damon can't catch a break... I usually dislike amnesia plot lines but Stefan not remembering anything made things interesting. Memory free Stefan could be an opportunity for Stefan/Katherine to happen (since Stefan preffered Katherine as a human in the past). Instead of the triangle continuing. Both brothers happy at last
Yup it could be interesting for Stefan/Katherine dynamics especially since Katherine was supposedly getting sort of character development in this season but instead they went back to her initial arc.
I think the beginning of season 5 is the beginning of the "doppelganger hating", I mean I know a lot of people who couldn`t stand the doppelganger thing anymore and to be honest, I was confused first time watching. BUT... having had a look at the timeline, I think Stefan is not the doppelganger Elena should end with when it comes to the universe. As I understand it correctly the first and original couple were Silas and Amara, after that, the first doppelganger was born named Tatia, mentioned with the Originals because Elijah and Klaus fell in love with her (BTW not a spoiler, it was discussed in TVD 3x13). We don`t know which doppelganger would be the one who should end up with her and I think they never explained that so far. After that, the next doppelgangers would be Stefan and Katherine and more or less that would have worked if things would have been different because Katherine chose Stefan and he was in love with her, too. Then in this timeline we have Elena and an unknown doppelganger, yet. Soooo.. Stelena isn`t the constellation the universe would want, BUT the doppelgangers are like magnets, so it is just legit that Stelena happened... and that is all without the free will ability, because... destiny and fate is one thing... making choices another.
it's doesn't matter which pairing ist right for the timeline. In Katherines time was ather doppelgänger for her. She just didn't met him, Same for Stefan. Remember Katherine is much older than Stefan. They wouldn't met, if Katherine wouldn't be a vampire...
It wasn’t an unknown doppelgänger. Stefan had a doppelgänger called Tom Avery he was a paramedic. Caroline and enzo will kill him in this season. So elena would have been attracted to Tom if Stefan didn’t get her first.
@@sanamhussain1061 I think she said unknown because it would be a spoiler. You aren't supposed to write spoiler in this comment section. Every reactor hate spoilers.
I don’t think Katherine was supposed to be with Stefan either. She was already centuries old when she met Stefan but she missed her chance because of her death to meet her version of Stefan. Stefan also lost his chance maybe to meet his version cause of his death but instead met Elena who is supposed to be meet with his version in this timeline. We don’t even know if Tatia actually was the first doppelgänger. Perhaps she’s just a doppelgänger we saw from the original’s eyes.
Damon: But Stefan didn't fall in love with Katherine, I did. She fell in love with him but he hates her! Qetsiyah: Shit! I'll be honest, I didn't watch season 1 and I mostly skimmed season 2 until Klaus showed up.
He had feelings for her until he became a vampire. He also had an obsessive need to stalk Elena for weeks based on the fact that she looked like Katherine and he was pretty much in love with her from the moment they spoke to each other. It honestly fits. Circumstances changed the situation with Katherine before anything substantial could happen and by the time he knew she was alive again, he was already in love with Elena. I assume fate only needs one pair together at a time. A threesome isn’t destiny’s kink.
One of Silas’s powers are basically mind control and he’s super durable at this point while he already explained vampires are weaker than him. While the spell worked but it affected Stefan more since it his conscience that’s being burnt down and also because he’s a vampire so he’s weaker than an immortal. Not to mention Stefan just got out of the safe for now so he’s so starving for 3 months.
None of this doppelganger stuff matters anyway because even though they're stuck constantly being reborn over and over, they never end up with each other. They always fall in love with someone else. That was their true curse. They weren't actually meant for each other.
I like this interpretation because I’m Team Delena, but Qetsiyah definitely says many of the pairs do wind up together. Thousands she says. Our main doppelgängers don’t because they’re not exact matches. I think the pairs that were actually born during the same time periods actually did get together. Stefan, Katherine and Elena are three different doppelgänger periods. If that makes sense.
It's not the same bloodline. Doppelgangers aren't related, they're just nature's way of creating a balance. Only Bonnie is Qetsiyah's descendant, but I don't know how if she never had kids.
@@Sthuthukile That's not entirely true Katherine is Elenas Descendant there from.thr same bloodline and so are Silas and Stefan Silas is Stefans ancestor you can Google it
I think you don’t need to watch the originals. It’s very awesome but i don’t know i didn’t get the idea that you like the originals extremely much which i think it can be boring for you. It’s extremely interesting but i think it adds to it when you are already a fan of the mikaelsons. I was obsessed so the originals was amazing for me. Well either way good luck
Matt as gregor is the only best thing about Matt because Matt is boring. It won't be confusing when you find out who Nadia really is. Nadia is a vampire but her blood line is a traveler. Your mind is going to be blown when you find out who Nadia is. Traveler is a form of witch but not like a Bennett witch. There are slightly different witches
I wouldn’t watch the originals at the same time purely cause that’s a lot of commitment. Finishing tvd first is completely fine in my opinion many friends had done so, since the show is also quite longer
I think Kyle loves Damon more than Elena or any of the fans. he will walk through fire and defend him in everything. it's kinda crazy Questiyah is super interesting. i loved how she explained the story. i finally understood it. but still thinks its convoluted i figured the cure is in Katherine's blood. that was obvious. She doesn't have to die. They love torturing Stefan. now he lost his memories? give me a break.
