Can anyone else relate to Caroline at 2:07? Being crushed and heartbroken, but once you see someone else you act like you are fine. She is dying inside and quickly puts on an act! This is one of my favorite scenes because it is REAL! It is so true in life! And I love how Candice can make it looks so real to where you can relate with the character! At least I could relate to her... Anyways, just wanted to say this.

Caroline when she noticed Elena at 2:12, the way she smiled like saying "well, secret's out". Instead of Elena walking away like I expected her to when I first saw her, she just comforted Caroline, because she's been there with Stefan and she knows it hurts like hell when he shuts you out.

One thing that I really didn't like on this show is that they made Stefan be the guy who's there for everyone all the time, it's always him who has to support or comfort someone else, but here he's also suffering and NO ONE says: " Hey, I understand if you need space and all that, and I just wanna let you know that I'll be here for you too ". No one does that for Stefan, not once. And that kind of pisses me off

Everybody grieves differently in this case Caroline hasn’t realized it nor accepted it that Stefan was grieving in his own way and her trying to get Stefan to go back to mystic falls wasn’t making it any easier for Stefan and Stefan lost his brother the person that Stefan loves more then life itself Caroline still had her mom and family Stefan had no family left so of course it would hit harder for Stefan then it does Caroline

i have been a steroline shipper for years..i thought stefan was made for caroline n vice versa. i loved klaroline but i shipped these 2 more. but now when i see these scenes..where stefan just walked away from everyone after losing damon, agree that he wanted some space, but still u dont leave ppl who care for u for good just cos u cant deal with d emotions. u gotta check on them once in a while, to see how they're dealing. and to see stefan walk away when caroline asked if there was even a part of him that came to check on her n d ppl who care for him is just heartbreaking. it just spoils d whole purpose of steroline. i never gave much thought to it before cos i was so consumed by their chemistry, but now coming to think of it i feel stefan probably didnt deserve her as much as she deserved him. he didnt come back to check on her n others, he came back to seek revenge for ivy. he'd have never come back to mystic falls hadnt damon not come back, n he n caroline would've never been a thing. his justification to caroline as to why he pushed her away d most wasnt convincing enough, n it seemed more like he was only saying it to win caroline's trust. i totally get why caroline was so rude to him that time n was icing him out, n he totally deserved it. eventually he did realise what a jerk he was n got back with her, n at d time that was all i wanted to see. so i didnt think much. but now i get d feeling that maybe..maybe he started liking her romantically only after he learnt about her feelings for him, n not before that, which honestly doesnt look satisfying. their relationship does grow deep after that, but considering how it started..i still feel that he hooked up with caroline cos she loved him n he felt guilty for pushing her away, and also cos he felt bad about her mom dying, n that her mom wanted him to ask her out just before she died. all these things point out that he fell for her out of sympathy, n that it wasnt purely love or anything. i just dont think he loved her as much, not as much as he did for elena, katherine or even valerie. i saw d yearning n passion in his eyes when he was with them. with caroline it was more of sympathy n friendship, more than love. but she did love him passionately. so all of this makes me feel that d only person whom she was actually meant to be with was klaus. cos she was his 1st choice, he had that passion n yearning for her which was missing in all her other love interests. she really deserved to be with a man like him.

honestly, nobody was good enough for Caroline except Klaus. She's literally the best person and everyone treated her like second choice

People are really out here saying that Klaus treated her better and that he would never hurt her. Bruh did we watch the same series. 1) He killed her boyfriend's mom. 2) He was gonna use her in the sacrifice at the end of season 2 as a backup vampire after jenna. 3) Bit her and made tyler bite her when he was sired to him. 4) Literally used a wooden lamp to stake her in the stomach when he was trapped in elena's living room. And that's all the things from the top of my head. But here most fans call Stefan a terrible person because he left Caroline after his own BROTHER died. (BTW I'm not excusing stefan for doing that because that was messed up. But cmon let's put some perspective into play here) People only ever wanna talk about the good things Klaus did to her but he did way more bad things to her in my eyes. This moment right here were stefan leaves her is by far the worst thing he ever did to her, and it's not even close to the amount of things Klaus did to her. But people automatically forgive klaus for what he did to her as long as he says he "fancies her" like what?? Cmon. And one last thing. People really got it stuck in their heads that caroline loved Klaus more than stefan. No she didn't love a one night stand more than her own husband. And before a single person says, "oh but she wouldn't have kissed him in the originals if she loved stefan more." Or "But she did kiss him at the end of the originals so she must have loved him more." Ok a few things. 1) it's not like she kissed Klaus when stefan was still alive, she kissed him 16 years after stefan died. And 2) That kiss at the end of the originals was literally a goodbye kiss because he was about to die. She didn't kiss him because she wanted to be with him, it was literally her saying goodbye to him. And last thing is that in the series finale of tvd she literally tells damon that they will see stefan again. That's literally her saying if she ever chooses to die or just dies she will find peace with stefan, not Klaus. ( I probably just made so many klaroline stans mad with using common sense lmao)
