+sunny rafat CW adds the episode that aired a day after it airs like it airs at 8 for me, and I'm up late and it's not on the app at 12 am or something, but it's on the app on the next morning. So I'm pretty sure this person is in a different time zone

Cool Empire I cannot tell you how many times I have cried watching this series. But in the end I love how every character has grown in their own ways , its amazing. It sucks that its over now and the originals is on their last season as well :(

A better explanation is because the magic of the scar has already fully taken root in Stefan. Like when Kieran was hexed by the Rosary of Madness and Klaus explained to Camille why his compulsion wouldn't be able to help Kieran. Because that kind of spell starts off as magic and then alters the victim in some way. In Kieran's case the hex had altered his brain chemistry to the point that it was not longer a matter of magic. The scar Rayna gives her victims is likely similar in nature as one of it's effects is neutralizing a vampire's natural healing factor.
