Honestly, when people say they ship Demon and Elena, I feel like people don’t know what love is. Stefan there sacrificed every inch of his life to that lady there. He even saw her leave him and choose his brother yet he never stopped loving her. Vampire Diaries will be Stefan’s story for me, only Stefan Salvatore. It’s his story and he is the Man of his words. I will always believe that Stefan found his Elena in another world.

Paul Wesley is a great actor. I know he once said that he did not like to really play broody, crying Stefan, but he enjoyed playing Ripper more. But, Paul is really good in scenes that he has to be emotional in. He and Kat Graham were the best actors on the show.

Paul Wesley overshadowed every other performance in that finale, Ian had a hard time keeping it professional and Nina did good but couldn’t keep up the chemistry all by herself. I truly think Paul is brilliant and hope he will take on bigger roles in the future... I’m convinced he can display every possible emotion. He made the finale kinda worth watching although the plot was really messy

Season 1.) damon kills Lexi on stefan’s birthday Season 2.) Stefan turns off his humanity so klaus gives his blood to Damon so he doesn’t die from a werewolf bite. Season 3.) damon flirted with Elena while Stefan had his humanity turned off. Also Stefan fought klaus’s compulsion for Elena. season 4.) damon is elena’s sire and steals her away from Stefan Season 5.) Stefan gives the cure to Elena when he could have taken it Season 7.) damon was about to get stabbed by the Phoenix sword but Stefan saved him and got stabbed in the process. Also damon abandoned Stefan and Bonnie because he was a coward and didn’t want to make anymore mistakes. Season 8.) Stefan gave himself to Cade for the twins and he didn’t want damon to be alone. And at the end he sacrificed himself for everyone. Stefan is the better man. People only like Damon because he is attractive! Also for all of the people saying damon loved Elena more . He literally killed Jeremy/Tyler/ Aaron witmore (elena’s friend). He killed all of those people with his humanity ON. Delena shippers always say "but damon loves Elena for who she is.” When Damon said to Katherine in season 2 “I will forgive you for everything, I love you, we can start over and be together.” And then after Katherine said no he went to elena’s house and told her the same thing. AND AFTER SHE SAID NO HE KILLED JEREMY. Damon only loved her because she looked like Katherine. Stefan told Lexi that he fell in love with Elena because she was so kind and selfless. Also, delena shippers always bring up the fact that Stefan killed Enzo. HE HAD HIS HUMANITY TURNED OFF. STEFAN ALSO FELT SO GUILTY THAT HE SACRIFICED HIMSELF AT THE END! Anyways Stefan will forever be the better man.

*Literally everytime Damon has flashbacks of his time with Elena when he is alone, it consists of them on bed or kissing that's it. Whereas Stefan has so many beautiful memories, like just holding hands under the beautiful night sky. Well that is love and not just high hormone fantasies of teenage. Ugh imma cryy!!!*

When Stefan said that his brother was better than him, he just made it more clear that who has always been the better one!! I really hoped for a better ending for him!!😑

And this my friends is why Stefan was always the better choice.

I really like how far the Salvatores came through this show. The show began with Stefan wanting to kill Damon, but ended with him dying for him instead.

Stefan is inherently good, when he was put in someone’s body, he didn’t remember who he was or anything but his first instinct was to save people on the bus. Stefan sacrifices his happiness all the time and when he could’ve been happy, Damon shows up, stalks and flirts with his gf, tries to push him into drinking human blood, pushing him over the edge because he promised him an eternity of suffering and for what reason? He blames stefan for making him turn but it’s not like he doesn’t enjoy being a vampire otherwise he would just die. Damon doesn’t take accountability for his actions, a cowardly childish murderer. Damon had to learn to be good and it was always fragile, if elena broke his heart he would go on a killing spree. He needed an anchor to be good, while Stefan was good just because. The show glamourises the disturbing trope of the bad boy turning good just because of a girl, “I can change him” headass. “She makes me wanna be a better man” headass. I’ll never forget Damon killed a pregnant woman, that’s sick. The people justifying his actions with his past or viewing him as a “misunderstood guy who deserve better”, y’all are sick too. It’s people like you that date abusers and murderers in real life because they’re good looking. Best believe if someone conventionally unattractive played Damon, people would hate him more. Nina and Paul always had emotional and epic scenes together. Their chemistry is so strong!!! Did anybody notice that there were no speaking dialogue scenes between Damon and Elena in the finale. I mean , there was that awkward kiss, and hand holding at the end. Ian Somerhalder seemed so stiff in those scenes with Nina. At least Nina was trying. Paul Wesley really shined in the finale!!!

Say what you will but this reunion scene between Elena and Stefan had more feeling and emotion to it than the one with her and Damon. With Damon it looked forced and very short. This scene reminded me of the very first time Elena and Stefan met. Their on-screen chemistry is simply unmatched.
