I like that throughout the show how people respond to grief is explored. Stefan, Elena and Jeremy are all handling their grief in very different ways. Caroline is putting so much work in and Stefan giving up is a heartbreaking and well done contrast. The Bonnie and Damon scene tho, brief but perfect.
Everyone has lost and suffered in this series but like Elena and Bonnie no. These two girls have been more used, losing their loved ones, being mistreated etc. Seeing Elena like that for her Damon was sad. He does not heal from a loss he has no other😞
Beautiful aspect of Caroline her loyalty to her friends her wanting to reunite everyone and make things right as before she has a tenacity in getting things organized that I love about her.
The start of Bamon/ Donnie!! Love that relationship and loyalty, season 6 here we go!! ........ 2nd fave villain too, cant wait!! And i almost forgot about Ric, so glad hes back again, everybody gotta love Ric!!
Stefan and his new lives always starting all over by being a good humble human 😅😅 but I'm sorry for his pain of losing Damon 😔 right now Stefan is broken but I also hate that he always walks away from his friends and loved ones.
Everyone deals with grief and pain differently and I kind of get Stefan as I would have a similar reaction to him of dealing with it myself and isolating myself from everyone. Plus it’s gotta be really hard being around his friends as they are a constant reminder of Damon and they will give him hope of seeing Damon again when it’s pretty much impossible, and there’s not much worse than false hope
@@Web497 SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER The sense was very different from what I meant, however Damon retires as tired of being told that it does more damage which helps when Bonnie gets hurt so she decides to retire and not bother so two completely different things, Stefan is talking even before knowing Elena has always restarted a life looking like a simple human. I understand his pain now and want to be alone for a while but Stefan always distances himself from his loved ones to start over to take revenge and so on in these things he prefers to always be alone and therefore without wanting it, however, he makes the people around him suffer. he must avenge ends up hurting the people he loves.
I felt season 8 was by far the worst. Just curious what made u like season 8? Not in anyway dogging you out for that just wondered what u liked about it so much. Hate how people start getting so rude and ugly when they have a different opinion. I sure miss this show.
yeah i get what you mean. i wish they at least showed us some flashbacks on how they coped with the grief of losing Damon and Bonnie during the four months or something.
Honestly, Ric being back just made the whole thing bearable overall. I was so damn happy to see him back. Everything else will be explained soon!!! Also I would like to suggest that you cut out the copyrighter songs/soundtrack from the episodes (or mute them somehow), it’ll probably decrease the chances of them blocking the video.

Damon and Bonnie my loves, my favorite characters for 5 seasons the mouse and the cat 😂 and they continue like this but it's wonderful to see Damon making him breakfast with vampire pancakes 😂😂 Bonnie are wonderful, the crazy vampire with the sweet witch.

elena/damon and jeremy spent a lot of season 5 trying to get bonnie back so likely that's why the series isn't focusing on that as much as damon but regardless SPOILERS elena and damon still really want bonnie back when only damon comes back and that's their priority to act like either of them don't care is dumb at least both of them care enough to even do that while everyone else is just doing whatever people claim elena doesn't care enough for bonnie when she damon and jeremy seem to be the ONLY ones to care whilst everyone else is doing other stuff people just focus on elena mourning damon right now forgetting how many times she's mourned bonnie and even the show says she's the one who mourned bonnie the most at this time i get the show doesn't always treat bonnie well and by all means call that out but i don't get how anyone acts like elena doesn't care just because she's upset about damon, you can be upset about multiple people and he was her significant other elena has been more upset about bonnie dying than anyone in this stupid show and that's just facts even when bonnie faked died elena was the only one to care so i don't like people acting like she's the main perpetrator when i haven't seen a tear out of ANYONE else until this episode where they have to because it's a 'funeral'
@@nightfrost1891 Spoiler First Jeremy 😂😂😭 I gotta laugh at how much He “respected Bonnie by first believing His dead girlfriend over Her and being quick to kiss the dead instead of being with Her the living in season 3 I believe. season 6 His way of” getting over Bonnie” was sleeping around and getting drunk not even 6 months from Her death so I don’t know about how deep His feelings go. I will say Elena did care about Her for awhile then you have to admit it was all about Damon after season 6 The show definitely did Bonnie/ Kat Graham wrong and we can definitely agree on that!
Elena does care about Bonnie and she’s shown that in the show, just bc we see her distraught over Damon in this episode doesn’t mean she doesn’t care about Bonnie (she’s cried over her multiple times and assuming you’ve watched the show, I shouldn’t even have to give examples of how much Elena cares about her/things she does).
