Stefan kills Vickie to save Elena, No one talks about. Elena kills jessi to save Damon, people loose their shit. Same situation different judgement.

I'm not saying that killing Jesse was okay and I understand why Caroline was mad and she said it probably cuz she was under emotions, she liked Jesse. But still it's kinda hypocritical from her. And there is a high possibility that if on Damon's place would be Stefan or Bonnie (actually anyone except Damon), her reaction would look completely different. I understand she still don't like Damon for what he did to her in s1, but her hatred seriously overshadows her judgment in many situations. If Elena only had a moment to think and choose the best option. When you're in situation like this, when someone you love is in danger and can die in seconds normally you don't think, you just try to do first thing that came to your mind to save them. First thing that you know would work. Same happened with Caroline when she killed those 12 witches. She had no time to think and to proces the whole situation. Just killed the witches to save Bon. Same with Stefan when he killed Vicki. He could break her neck too, but in that moment he went for killing her (Stefan was never told anything but considered a hero for saving Elena). Another example is when Jeremy killed that hybrid to become hunter, yes, she didn't kill him, but like everyone else (except Tyler) Caroline acted like it was nothing, cuz they needed to do that.

I actually prefer Elena in s5. I feel like she's truly happy and embraced her vampire side and learned to love it. She's no longer burdened or worried as much as she was in the earlier seasons

Human Katherine is a bit interesting because her worst impulses (selfishness, ruthless drive to survive, insecurity, and paranoia) are no longer heightened by vampirism. She's fundamentally the same person, but with more humanity and emotional vulnerability than when she was a vampire. And yes, to make up for Bonnie no longer being on the Damon hate train, they doubled down on Caroline's hatred of Damon. She's just super judgy about Delena and doesn't hold back this season. I still love her though.

OMG, I was waiting so impatiently for you to reach Augustine vampires and this Damon storyline. I'm excited as hell! 🔥 But Wes overpowering Damon like that at the end was ridiculous. Just stupid, but we needed it to get to this storyline lol

You have to understand that caroline still doesn't forgive damon for what he's done to her in season 1.

Tbh caroline is great, love her. But she is way to judgy

So Wes, Aaron's guardian, turned his friend and roommate Jessie into a super-powered vamp eating test subject because Aaron needed more death and dangerous surroundings? Yep, we know and understand why Caroline hates Damon but here her logic falls apart immediately given the enhanced strength and ripper insight that even the the doc could corroborate. It's not like she ever worked with Klaus to serve a hybrid up or killed 12 witches to save Bonnie last season. There are tons of examples with the characters reacting quickly to save loved ones but this is all contrived for drama sake to push a breakup just like last season. Otherwise everyone needs to realize they are all hella dangerous and hypocritical.

I love how you try to be understandi g of all the characters but honestly, Caroline needed to get over herself by now She is such a hypocrite when it comes to Damon "The outside world is not nearly as dangerous as Damon" LOL Damon who saved her and all of them time and time again? She tells Stefan "this isn't you, you're better than this" when he impulsively kills someone even though he is a ripper who slaughtered families a little over a year a go And she thinks Elena should have givven Jessie a chance while he is ripping at Damon's neck?!! Let's not forget that this same caroline killed 2 police officers who probably had families waiting for them at home in season 2 to save Stefan and Damon She could have knocked them down, but she killed them dead and had no remorse for it

There were a few good things about season 5 but imo it was a very messy/slow season in a lot of parts and I lost some interest in the show then. Luckily season 6 is amazing though.

Not a huge fan of Vampire Diaries , but there is a 1990s film called "Dead Man on Campus" that is hilarious. And SoFie , you're the best !

Yup this season the first episodes are good the last are good, everything in the middle made me really dislike this season.

I’m not attacking you, I love watching your reactions. I just want you to realize you basically expect for Caroline to just get over the fact that her best friend is in love with her abuser. He mentally/physically abused her. Practically raped her, made her feel like shit… Kinda weird that because of Elena people magically forget. Caroline’s feeling are completely justified & I would never expect for her to move on because we dealt with it already.

First of all I get the impulse thing elena followed her first impulse and killed jessie to save damon but she could've not done tht. Also I srsly don't get why ppl call Caroline judgy nd stuff. Damon was her abuser im not gonna go into detail about wut kinda abuse it was cuz we all have diff. Opinions on it but he was. And even if ur abuser becomes a good person eventually u still have the right to hate them or feel how Caroline feels about damon. She has that right. Also another thing is how easily elena fell in love with caroline's abuser. It's sad how so many ppl don't understand Caroline's actions or words. Ofc damon is a gud friend now so she would help save him or he would save her as they both have in times BUT tht doesn't makes anything better until she's ready to forgive him Or not Thts her choice. I rly want ppl to get tht. The abuse thing hasn't been talked about in the show but we see her hatred so we all have misconceptions but we shoild try to understand her.
