plus he loved caroline for three years during the time jump, so in total like 5 years and elena he was only with for a year lol.

I think Steroline was blasting as a friendship, and that kind of love was true. But as a romantic relationship it's a total disaster. Look, in these episodes we still have strong friendship bond, but right from the start it came with a crack. For Caroline and Stefan it was a second choice and they were trying to work with it but they would always expect the words or actions that their other partners would do. I just finished watching this clip of user Andromeda (yeah, just like that) and she covers pretty nicely why Steroline was wrong. From me, I will add, as always, that the most important thing is what they said in moments that were supposed to be milestones of relationship. Stefan's proposal was made fit for Elena. His wedding vow was about friendship (and a huge misquotation), while Caroline was UNPREPARED to have her own vow, so she was talking about Klaus. And after that we get a heartbreaking boodbye which is good because it's honest. Btw it looks like both Caroline and Stefan were feeling obligated just because of Liz's last will to work things out, and then Stefan felt obliged because he promised Klaus "to do right by her". If Caroline was his true love, he wouldn't have to ask Damon if it was ok and later Klaus wouldn't need to demand being right for Caroline.

@@elia_simon well, during the time jump she didn't want to hear from him (while being with Alaric, I think) and she refused to join Stefan in Paris, where he was with Valerie, and she went to NOLA to find Klaus.

Um, I think Matt is great! He has his flaws, ups and downs, but he tries to stay decent (I liked how he treated Kathryn when she was dying. Twice.). His attitude seems like sth like mortal "I'm not gay, I'm not into guys, but if you are and you're good with living with it it's ok. I mean, as long as you don't go raping people".

Fake letter wouldn’t work because she knows her mums writing and if they opened it Caroline would know there is no problem destroying it because they either took a picture or remembered it. It’s exactly like the elena situation when she wasn’t scared of Damon and Stefan because she knew they wouldn’t harm her too much. Tbh looking back they could have just read it from outside the cell

@@akdrzllol1698 By fake one, I meant fake evenlope just to be sure she wouldn't destroy it in retaliation. I'm sur eine of them could've mimicked Liz's signature without much issue. Either way, there are ways of opening a letter/evenlope without anyone knowing. It's super easy.

Yes, Lily was a reaper and didn't have any help like brothers did. When she figured things up she came back years later to find out her sons were dead (or how did she know about them being vampires?). But she came back! Maybe Sophie will change her mind after hearing rest of Lily's story that is about to come.

??? stefan and damon (eventually, after he understood why she didn't want to be a vampire) didn't want her to be a vampire because she didn't want to be a vampire damon loved elena as a human stefan didn't seem to love elena as a vampire like he did when she was human even WHEN he didn't know about the sire bond everyone was criticizing elena saying she can't be a vampire and damon was the only one that said it was okay and made her feel okay to be one so why people criticize stefan is because he just seem repulsed at the idea elena was a vampire in general damon loved her human and vampire and he's proved that but tbh my own opinion is i hate both stefan's take then and damon's take on this right here too (the human/vampire thing), both are dumb people don't fall out of love or in love by becoming human/vampire sirebond or not etc. the fact that the writers kept milking it is so dumb to me (honestly, i blame them more than stefan or damon) when literal witches, tyler and others has made it pretty clear that's not what happens and as far as stefan only wanting human elena my own opinion isn't as harsh as others because i think a lot of it stems from his own hate of being a vampire and him not wanting that for elena but i do think he wasn't as in love with vampire elena as much as human and that was more of a hurdle for him even though he still did love her

Stefan is always better than Damon…….. Always, he even had the last laugh and hell Ian even said in an interview to Nina, what is wrong with you for leaving Stefan
