Hey TV-holics - I'm Jager Weatherby with Wetpaint.com. Okay, so everybody has things in their pasts they aren't proud of, right? Well, our fave TV stars are no different. Today we're taking a trip down Memory Lane and checking out the most hilarious - and embarrassing - roles from the TVD cast's days of yore. Ready?
Let's start with Candice Accola, who plays Caroline. We all know the girl's got one hot set of pipes. Remember when she belted out The Bangles' "Eternal Flame" this season? But that wasn't the first time Candice's musical chops have been caught on film. Oh, no. Candice worked as a backup singer for none other than Miss Miley Cyrus and starred along, er, BEHIND her in Hannah Montana: The Movie and the Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert. Yes. Really. Don't hate us, Candice!
Seriously, though, Candice is hardly the only TVD'er with some skeletons in her closet. Swoonworthy star Ian Somerhalder has also had his fair share of film faux pas - and if you thought nothing could get worse than being Miley Cyrus' backup singer... think again! Ian Somerhalder starred in an arguably pointless promo video for The Pussycat Dolls. Remember them? Maybe? Anyway, the video is hilariously heinous, except for, well, the fact that it has Ian Somerhalder in it. As one RU-vid fan so eloquently said, "This video does nothing but prove the fact that Ian Somerhalder is the cause of global warming." Um... True. That.
But, alas, Ian and Candice are still not the only Vampire Diaries actors with something to hide. Kat Graham has not one, but two, uber embarrassing roles filed under "What The Heck Was I On When I Agreed to Do That?" Not only did she star in Honey 2 (alongside psuedo celebs like The Hills' Audrina Patridge), she was also "Capri," the red Fanta girl. Yes, Kat spent a majority of her time when she was 18 in that horrible cut-out red outfit singing "Don'tchu wanna Fanta?" We cringe.
Finally, let us not forget that hairy hunk Michael Trevino played Jackson Meade in 2006's Cow Belles, a movie about two spoiled sisters who end up working at their father's dairy farm to "learn a lesson." Never heard of it? Yeah. It's probably better that way.
And there you have it! It's not always a pretty road to the top, but without all these less-than-stellar roles, our fave TVD stars might not be where they are today.
