Yeah it was a bit weird to me how easily Finn died. It’s unrealistic that Matt was able to kill one of the oldest vampires in the world but i’m just gonna assume that he was distracted because of Sage and he had a death wish because he’s definitely strong

Damon wearing Alaric's ring is so cute omg I don't think I ever really noticed that before. Best friendsssss. I also like the writers creating the rule that if you kill an original their entire line dies because it's a smart way to keep the originals around, which the audience loves, while giving the characters a good reason as to why they don't kill them or aren't always trying to kill them.

Fun fact about the word Rendezvous, it is a French word, that's why it is pronounced that way. It is use with the French pronunciation but with an English accent.

I love this episode, but honestly, I always thought Matt killing Finn was a little ridiculous. Maybe if the fight scene had involved a little more of a struggle, or they had subdued Finn more first, it wouldn’t have been as weird.
