@@Blue-ub8ld you obviously never watched the show 🙄 and besides there’s plenty of critics who agree with me even one of the biggest award prediction pages Gold Derby said that she at least deserved a nomination
i love when stefan stands on business 😁😁😁 what people don’t realizes is just because he isn’t a complete ass to everyone on planet earth , doesn’t mean he’s weak. He is honestly THAT GUY when it comes to protecting people
Nina Dobrev didn’t get enough credit for the role she played in this show. Her ability to switch from a character like Elena to Katherine is amazing acting work.
@@rafaelcruz9973it is but Jeremy is literally so young and naive. Stefan is just making sure Jeremy thinks his decisions through, also Elena would hate it and obviously Stefan is there for Elena
What a start to s2 everyone just dying and coming back alive in this episode lol 😂Jeremy getting his neck snapped was wild and Catherine choking out Caroline were crazy hold moves for the debut episode loved the reaction
I know I’m commenting a lot but this is what I’m talking about when I say TVD fanbase for some reason has amnesia when it comes to Damon, literally EVERY SINGLE REACTOR😭😭
“Who would you wanna be with for Eternity? Damon or Stefan?” “Katherine.” “…Oh, me too…” 👀 lmao 😂😂😂 I love these reactions. Season 2 is th best & 3 of my favorite characters show up this season.
I LOVED watching Stefan act like a big brother towards Jeremy. He needed more than a facial grab reality check. It’s annoying seeing the guys shit on Stefan for it cause they’re obsessed with Damon. I expected more from Rob.
In the few years after this came out, I was a teen girl in a vampire phase and probably rewatched this show 7 or 8 times. But let me tell you I had NO memory of Damon forcing himself on Elena. I remember the "it will always be stefan" and the neck snap but for some reason, it never even registered that he basically broke into her room, sa'ed her, and then murdered her brother when she rejected him. I got ahead of you guys in this rewatch and let me tell you it took me quite a few episodes to get over my ick, despite being a ride or die Damon stan.
Just goes to show our teenage hormones will choose super hot guy no matter what bad shit they do. Cuz we just can’t seem to control ourselves at that age. He could kill your mom and you’d be like oh my god I love you. You’re so hot who cares! 🤦🏽♀️
SAME. I completely forgot that he forced himself onto her… because i’m a huge damon fan. I know he’ll get better later in the show bc i’ve rewatched tvd a thousand times but yeah it just reminds me that if he was a real person I would want him dead fr
This is exactly why even as a kid I was never team Damon. He had a thing with her biological mother, threatened her friends, killed her brother and sa'ed her and has no respect for her boyndaries or choices.
Zuff pick the perfect eord to describe how this episode is really a reflection of a lot of parts of Damon at this point in the series. He says Damon is 'a menace'. And there couldn't be a more perfect word. He knows how to show emotional and soft, but never have that be more than a step away from destructive and hostile.
Katherine’s “I never loved you. It’s always been Stefan” was always heartbreaking but watching guys react to that scene, it’s like they are experiencing second hand absolute devastation 💔
Gargoyle/Guardrail Lockwood curse #Confirmed 😂😂 Guys the commentary and jokes this episode were amazing. The content was exciting and I had a lot of fun.
i get so confused when people say stefan wanted kathrine 😭 all he ever does is shut her down and roll his eyes. damon is the one who wanted her for 150 years.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Even in 18th century, what Stefan felt for her was puppy crush which he knows would have fall off if he actually knew her identity beforehand or at least wasn't compelled to go along with it.
@@marleneunknown8024 ur kinda right but no. he went to make sure that wasn’t kathrine walking around since she was supposed to be in the tomb. but then he saw how amazing elena was in the process. and he did not like kathrine again in season 5 he slept with her bc he was still not over elena breaking up with him. he never loved kathrine. plus damon was the one searching for her for almost 150 years. then kissed her even after she came back and was messing with their lives. and had already known elena for a while. in fact he confessed his love to her then when she said no went and assaulted Elena and killed jermey. stefan only ever has a stank look on his face when katherine is around. 😭
I love Stefan and Bonnie so much because they are such badasses..😭 Damon literally makes me so angry🤦🏾♀️ He literally throws a tantrum and kills Jeremy because he got rejected…🙄
Season 2 is Iconic for SO many reasons. Can’t wait for you guys to meet “Them”! If you don’t love vampires or wanna be one, they’ll definitely make you change your mind lol.
season 2 is my favorite and this season is filled with so much great stuff. Introduction to a lot of great characters. Katherine is soo bad but she is a personal favorite for most of the fans. Nina did such a great job. Her walk, talk everything screams confidence and yea the aura is completely different. The scene with damon elena and jeremy was so loww points for damon.
@@sharonbuzo5601how the fuck is that dramatic? Were ur eyes closed during that scene? He kissed her without permission which is sexual assault if u didn’t know and killed her brother because he couldn’t get his way.
honestly even if damon had seen the ring. what he did was unforgivable. he put ELENA through that. her brother dying after he knows what she’s been through. all bc she didn’t want him. he doesn’t care about her happiness just his own.
also i’m pretty sure they wrote damon to do that because too many people favored damon when it was airing so they made him do something people wouldn’t forgive (yet we still somehow did)
You see this is why I don’t feel sorry for Damon for everything cause how is it Elena’s problem that Katherine doesn’t want him?? Why is he mad she won’t leave or cheat on Stefan with him?? 😭😭😭 Dry your tears, mate!
to be fair, he had just been with elena and saw exactly what clothes she was wearing when she left and for all damon knew elena couldve changed again for whatever reason@@watertulips
@@user-me8zr5md9l yeah, i also think that after he figured out that Katherine had faked her death and didn't care enough to come back (poor boy thought it was love), it didn't really cross his mind that it could be her, because he even told Isobel "if Katherine wants something from me, tell her to come get it". From my pov, I think that Damon said that because after 145 years of wild goose chase, he was kinda daring her, but didn't exactly believed she'd show up, it was also just a salty comment from someone who's hurting. He and Elena were getting closer too, so add that to his physical attraction towards Elena/Katherine, guess he was just too infatuated to realize it wasn't Elena. Tbh though, he did put 2 and 2 together rather quickly after he heard Jenna and Elena's convo.
@@watertulips cuz its a shock factor porch scene made to foul us fans. Why would they make damon know its her on the porch and ruin the surprise reveal in the kitchen like come on. Stefan figured it out right after katherine said "just what i needed" as stefan realized elena wouldnt be happy bout caroline hurt. Cant compare the scenes in my opinion as 1 is written to not know cuz the fans cant know its katherine till the ending scene of s1 finale while the other scene is to continue the trick of is that elena or katherine as we know katherine is back now
It’s trauma…. And issues….? Like you definitely haven’t seen people in real life who have to deal with things via therapy etc. it’s not as easy as “suck it up.” Sometimes. And with this situation it’s clearly not about just a girl lol
@@Fazzy00I find it satisfying when I see once Delena fans grow up, rewatch the show and start adoring Stelena. Love reading how they didn’t see the red flags with Damon when they first watched the show as teens or ignored them to then growing up and realizing they need a Stefan in their lives. 🥰
damon is so toxic oh my god 😭 katherine’s always been my favorite character she’s just even more toxic but she’s soooo interesting way more interesting ethan elena tbh
Damon and Katherine are two of my favorites characters when it comes to the show. I really enjoy characters that aren't perfect or aren't aiming for perfection all the time. The savage and sarcastic answers plus the humor... Too freaking good. I like Jenna for the exact same motive: she's not a perfect guardian for Jeremy and Elena. She's trying her best to look out for them and I like that she tells Elena/Katherine to come inside after catching her with Damon. Aunt Jenna's quote during s1 to Elena "I'm not her" while talking about her sister and her niece's mother has more depth than people give her credit for. I feel like they could've explored Jenna's grief a little bit more, even if she had to bottle up the pain because she had to step up for two teenagers suddenly.
Guys! What a decision to react to this show.. xD These are some of my favorite reactions on RU-vid now.. They make me laugh and smile. TVD is really a great show for first time reactions.. lol
Ugh its so very hard to be a Damon stan for the mere fact that he does do some very crazy controversial things and I won’t excuse him but like Zuff said i like him as kind of the bad guy. Yes, the things he does would never be ok with me irl but it’s a VAMPIRE show, literally every character has controversial moments and a morally grey area and honestly im here for the drama 😂😂 so I do forgive a lot of things but never forget them. I think its also important to remember that hes not perfect and hes never claimed to be a saint, hes authentically him and ig you take it or leave it but I like that he’ll make the hard decisions that the other characters won’t make and after being around for so many years its kinda hard to care about trivial things like wrong and right or human life…again not saying its right but I can’t say that I would make all the morally right decisions after being around for so long 😂
The Jersey Shore line was probably written as a joke for Paul (Stefan) who's from New Jersey & has talked about knowing some of those guys back in the day 😂
Rob's face when Zuff asked if Damon was ever going to be with any of those girls at 28:48 had me DYING. XD I've been watching with my boyfriend and he just got to season 2 and he keeps asking questions and making comments that I can't answer and respond to because I don't want to give anything away XD Keep up the series, I'm enjoying everyone's commentary and input on these!
I’m so used to seeing you react nowadays shows that i was honeslty surprised that you already posted season 2 like this show is old we dont need to wait a whole year for another season! 😂😂😂😂
Just so you know, they post TVD reactions literally every Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday like clockwork. The schedule appears onscreen near the beginning of each video. 😊
@@anneh654 SPPOILLLERRS SPOIILLERRSSS When it comes to the act itself, at base, it's pretty similar... But completely different when it comes with context... Intentions, reasoning and even the target of the action is completely different... Damon just did damage to the NUMBER ONE thing that can hurt Elena (even above threatening or even hurting HER directly), which is hurting her loved ones given how sympathetic she is and her survivors guilt... And Jeremy ranks pretty much #1 on Elena's list of loved ones and him dying (because of her) is #1 on the list of things that would destroy her... Andie was Damon's pet compelled slaved "girlfriend"; and just to be clear, it 100% doesn't excuse the actions, but the impact is different, specially to Elena... If we are talking about the impact from Stefan to Damon and vice versa, Stefan killing Andie would be kindof comparable to Damon killing Lexi, and even then NOT REALLY... Damon killed Stefan's best friend of DECADES... So while the actions themselves are the same. Murder. Damon still comes up on top (or he should) when it comes to guilt in this regard... (and do we need to bring up what was done to certain pregnant family member?)... I consider what Damon did to Jeremy as the worse things that either of the Salvatores has done to her DIRECTLY; The closest other thing would be what Stefan did with his emotions on standby in the bridge, which was hella traumatic for Elena... But like I said, even tho it directly involved Elena it doesn't rank higher than what Damon did because Elena cares more about others then about her own well being
Yeah, there's definitely a lot of neck pain. It seems like in the TVD universe, if you're a vampire hunter then you hunt, you die, you come back to life, take an ibuprofen, and then back to work!
