Stayed there. To be honest quite underwhelming. The eel shop Ganso Motoyoshiya, was extremely pricey with even my host saying that the locals wouldn't eat there knowing it was more as a tourist trap. The canals span all over the entire city but to be honest you are better off heading to other hidden gems around Fukuoka or even northwards to Shimonoseki region

Gotta add a boat ride on my itinerary when I visit Japan again. 🛶
