Venture Bros is one of the greatest shows I have ever seen, the only reason it ever has bad tv ratings is because it is a linear story that people never are caught up on the exact episode that is showing. I really wish that more people could see this show because it really is great.

I agree with you, bud. It seems like shows along the lines of Family Guy get more attention and a larger fan base for this reason. I loathe Family Guy. There is just something about it that I can't stand. The Venture Brother is such an amazing series, due in part to it's linear storyline. I'm willing to wait two years for a new season, so long as it remains a quality show. It will be well worth the wait, in my mind.

I actually support the excruciating wait for Venture Bros seasons. I kind of think production of current television makes for a lot more chances to lose their audience by way of fanservice and instant gratification. I've seen shows where they've been on the air around 2 years and they're already doing their fourth to sixth season. A steady stream of output does not guarantee a good product.

I'm thoroughly looking forward to season 8 being released in 2032! Less flippantly yes, me too. It's always an _excruciating_ wait, but it's always _worth_ it, I mean they've been running for this many years and seasons already without the show yet peaking in my opinion, let alone getting stale, and if these long waits are part of the special sauce that makes VB one of my two favourite animated shows off all time (other being Steven Universe), then I say bring on the long waits.

They use a traditional animation process so their show takes a lot longer to create. They were saying there about how long it takes to draw the stuff they want. =)

Doc Hammer (Guy in the Middle) Does about half the voices on the damn show. So does Jackson Public (Guy on Left). James Urbaniak (Curtain-shirt) is Dr. Venture.

Jackson Publick voices most of the character on the show. Most notably Hank, White, Hunter Gathers, The Monarch, St. Cloud,Sgt. Hatred, and every character who only shows up once or twice.

I feel like Jackson Publick, Doc Hammer, and myself would get along very nicely. Like we would share witty banter and go on adventures and solve mysteries. But in all honestly they would sit there and have clever to and fro: then I would be like "Haha can Phantom limb wipe his ass without being fully focused on wiping his ass?" and they would both shout back "Shut up Wesley!" and the show would keep going without me.

One thing FLCL proved is the benefit of wrapping up a show in a timely fashion, when the story is done. The way the Venture Brothers have dribbled out over the years, I've long ago lost interest. If it were properly capped after a good number of eps, this could have been a great show.

I think the contrary. Watching the whole show now, these later episodes are a hell of a lot more engaging and all around just great. The only real issue is that they have to be watched in order else you have no idea what's going on. Eh, to each their own I guess.

well the thing about FLCL as compared to this show are many many things 1. the shows are from 2 different countries FLCL is Japanese and venture bros is american two different cultures, 2 forms of thinking 2. FLCL was *meant* to only be 6 episodes and a show like venture brothers doesn't really know if its going to have a next season or not 3. Your comparing two shows that are in no way a like other then their a scifi comedy 4. If you have a good thing, keep it going 5. not everything some writes or creates is gonna be gold people can make mistakes even in TV/movies/any form of media that's why we have plot holes and etc

darkmyro The reason I bring up FLCL is they had a story and a plan for best telling it. The show could have gone longer but the quality would have suffered and the producers would be ultimately held back. You can chose to make a show endless but how does it effect the quality of the show? Is Venture Brothers a good show after a decade, especially since we've been treated to years with only one or two shows? The show started very strong but the idea to do 80s parodies has held the show back. The irregular seasons hold it back. Any story thread is lost in what the show is doing now, putting out so few shows and not getting anywhere really. I was a fan of the show at first but feel the show has dragged on with too few episodes and no reason to continue waiting. If anyone likes the show still I wish more power to them. I'm just saying a TV show is all about telling a story. That story need a structure. Don't you think these guys are stringing out the show just to make money? A shorter show with a payoff could have at least sold more DVDs.

525Lines im not saying that I'm just saying your analogy is weak and there are plenty of shows that have been going for 10+ years that are good or at the very least enjoyable i mean im a power rangers fan and the american version has been going for 15 years and the Japanese version has been going since the mid 70s, there is also doctor who, which had a break , but is still going strong now, and there is also star trek which is another long running franchise yes there are different versions of them but their all relatively the same show and a lot of these have what i like to call troughs and peaks there might be a few episodes or a season that isn't really good, but then the show comes back and reminds you why you love it and as far as I'm concerned just because your not willing to wait for the show(which the only season i didn't really like was the latest one which will have a climax, but they are coming out with one towards the end of this year) doesn't mean the show is bad it just takes a long time to produce and i still enjoy the show
