I just think it’s wild how Doc and Jackson can make THAT MANY voices. It just seems weird hearing them come out of their mouths. And James Urbaniak and Patrick Warburton and Mike Sinterniklaas just sound like their characters; it’s two sides of a spectrum

While it's not the crazy amount of range as Jackson and Doc, I do want to point out that Urbaniac also voices Jonas Venture Jr, Phantom Limb, and David Bowie (or you know, the shapeshifter impersonating David Bowie).

@@YttriumRapier Yeah it's one of those things like uh, Jon Benjamin, a lot of people think he only has that one voice, just because he uses it a lot and it's pretty much his natural voice. They aren't aware he's also a ton of other people, dialects, pitches, speech impediments..

@@frofrozzty or maybe they think Jason is pitched up. I think maybe in season 1 he was a _tiny_ bit. But for the most part that's just a voice he does.. got some Jimmy Pesto in there.

@@KairuHakubi no like when I introduce people to the show either they'll notice it in the credits or I'll bring it up and they're like "...what??" I know exactly what you mean though. But personally I chock that up to being multifaceted between different recording locale & tech, takes being edited together, and low budget on top of a debut season. You can tell their audio engineering became a lot more cohesive by season 2.

@@deevee666 Not according to the commentary. It was so bitter like they were so upset that the movie had to cut so much and both talked about how happy they were to let it go to pursue music instead of being cucked by WB. Its sad but I'm just happy Venture bros existed at all. Go team venture.

When you realise all of the glory that is _Venture Bros_ is literally just those two dudes having the most elaborate conversation of all time. ...also Doc Hammer needs to be careful, the show pavloved me into associating his voice with the finest piece ever drawn and animated.

It's great to see how much everyone on this show admires everyone else on the show. They are all so talented and connected that even when they impersonate another VA doing a character, they are ~eerily~ similar. (Especially check out when Dean's VA is complimenting Patrick and goes almost seamlessly into Hank's voice, which is not his role)

Even though I'm fine with the movie (presently) being the end of the series, I'd love to see these guys make the Rusty musical a reality in some way, shape, or form. Either as a DTV special, or even just an album with maybe some skits sprinkled throughout. We get a full version of that "I'm Rusty!" song along with other numbers, all while the cast of the show maybe act out something like a "lost episode" during the intermissions. It'd be glorious!

@@tomuchtosay16Honestly. I’m new to VB, but the lack of mass appeal, and plentiful time between seasons to plan, definitely secured the show’s quality. The only thing it’s ever been ALLOWED to do, was be itself. We’re lucky it DIDN’T become like Rick and Morty

These guys are great, and I loved their show, but anyone who’s marveling at their ability to voice multiple characters should take a look at the career of the late, great Mel Blanc, who voiced almost every single one of the original Warner Brothers cartoon characters (Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, etc. etc. etc.)
