THE VERY BEST OF CAPPADOCIA IN TURKEY (TÜRKİYE) 

There are so many interesting videos that you can find about Cappadocia, but this one is definitely the best of the bunch. I totally enjoyed watching your highly compelling video so much so that I really wish I was there going from one tourist spot to another and experiencing all the exciting adventures. Not only did you share with us the riveting history of Cappadocia, but you also provided us with all the useful information and tips on how to get around this beautiful region from transportation to accommodation and from the best sites to visit and explore to the most fun activities to do. Thank you for such an informative video.

I lived in Göreme for a couple of years and it is indeed one of the places in the world that can be described as "magical" and really has to be experienced to understand. I remember walking into a non descript cave house and going up some stairs into a carved out cathedral and being literally speechless by the surprise of it and the scale of the church. If you ever have the chance to go in winter and see the chimneys with snow on them and walk the valleys in the snow it is like another planet and incredible.

Omg I soo want to visit Goreme, stunningly beautiful 😍 and my fav food gozleme too...you can keep the ayran though Trudie! 🤮 The beautiful ceramics in Ananos and traditional Ürgüp and Ortahisar...Wow 👌 I adore this beautiful country. Thank you so much, you are amazing! . I would so love to catch up with you both when I'm next in Calis xx..so good I watched it twice and it still touched me deeply 😥

Mick & Trudie channel is an absolute gem of RU-vid. Loved your in-depth overview of otherwordly, mystical Cappadocia. The videos of Hatay, Bursa, Eskisehir (you recommend at end), and Adana were the most filled with new personal discoveries for me. Inspiring masterpieces!

I visited Goreme back in the late 80s and it is still up there as one of my favourite places. Can see that it has got a lot more touristy - no surprises really but hopefully doesn't get overrun. So interesting to see the surrounding villages too and wish I had gone there too. So much to see in Turkey hopefully one day will get back there.

You have stayed right in front of the hotel I have basically learned English in my childhood! My father’s friend owns the hotel that was behind yours and as a kid, when my father was visiting him, I would jump from table to table to speak very basic English with tourists like you guys ☺️ I would be like Hello how are you my name is… where are you from this is grape, this is a glass of wine, are you tourist, this is a table 😂 Most of them would show me the photos of their daughters to somehow communicate with me bc as a primary school kid I didn’t understand much 😃 Would have loved to chat with you and Trudie in now advanced English, Mick amca but oh well, maybe in another place! I have been there in 1978 with my school, Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul, and it looked entirely different then, not much touristy hotels or even museums of any kind. All those towns were small local towns with hardly any tourists visiting. You should go to Ihlara Valley and visit over hundred churches carved into the valley walls, and Haci Bektas, and Nevsehir, which are famous with Onyx workshops with incredibly talented carvers, making amazing pieces from vases, bowls into chess sets and various art pieces. I had a great time in Goreme and the surrounding areas in September 2012. I though that I would be afraid when the balloon took off but it was one of the most peaceful experiences that I've ever had. I shall have to make a future trip exclusively to Cappadocia. It is an amazing region of an amazing country.
