Dear LC, we wish you all the best for your last trip in Malaysia. Hope your short trip in Malaysia has been memorable and you brought home our Malaysian hospitality in your heart. Malaysia is one of the most popular under rated country in SE Asia and your video showed us we have a lot more to offer to the world. Safe travels and may you reach home to your family safely.
Yan, when you realize an intelligent designer created everything unique, every person, animal, tree, leaf, molecule, star, galaxy, etc are all different, and in a constant state of change, I think you will enjoy your travels even more. And thank you very much for sharing your wonderful experiences. I’m a fan. You impress me a lot.
I love your videos. It's informative and can tell that you did some research. I've seen some other (whom I am also grateful for) who record their experiences here, but many don't seem to bother adding any insight for viewers or research, even after their trip, before publishing the videos. As much I as enjoy watching people discover my country, I truly appreciate when they take time to learn because it shows how much they care about the people and places they visit. I don't mind if they don't though, it just makes me really happy when they do it like you 😊
Now you've done it - NOW every foreign vlogger will have to come to Sarawak's interiors to prove they have completed the Malaysian experience. Good job!
Finally see orang utan. Orang utan is really human alike character and very human being behaiviour...to sad these is your final journey in Malaysia there still plenty place to explore.. wish you came back soon
Both the Iban and the Bidayuh are called the Dayak while the Iban is known as the Sea Dayak who live along big rivers and the Bidayuh ,the Land Dayak live in the mountains.
Always wanted to see some Borneo👌 excellent as always. They have families and help one another, it's a beautiful place. Good to see so many Christian folks there. Thankya for another excellent Video, your vids are the best👍🏹♥️ Yan🌄
You were so lucky to catch sight of the orang utan in the wild. Btw, Sarawak is my birth place. So welcome and I hope you enjoyed your stay here. Selamat jumpa.🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
Hi Yan, this is another very interesting video. Not many youtubers venture this far into the Borneo jungles. It has been an eyes opening and educational video for me. Thanks for taking us into the beautiful and enchanting Borneo forest. The indigenous people are so kind and friendly. You got a very knowledgeable guide too. Wishing you a pleasant and safe journey back to your family in Anhui Looking forward to the next one.
I came to Batang Ai 30 years ago . Batang Ai was owned by the Hilton Hotel, today they no longer own it . The best borneo trip for me was from kuching to Sibu, kapit and finally onto Belaga dawn the Rajang River. Stunning. Mulu caves also stunning.
@@littlechineseeverywhere First I should mention my wife and I are both born in the UK . Our home for the last 45 years has been Canada. Twenty years ago we traveled across China starting in Beijing by train to Sian and finally on to kumming . We then traveled across to Hong kong by train. We traveled around China for 2 months . We were completely alone no guide. It was a very special trip . Asia is affordable and very educational. South America is a little dangerous. Canada is large and very cold. I have never returned to Europe. Your English is very good .
Another excellent insight video Yan !!! I have seen all your Unseen China videos and now am following your long journey from Switzerland to Malaysia...doing it in reverse . I strongly recommend viewers to subscribe and follow you on your journey to all the provinces in China. I think you said this would be a 2 year project . Good luck in all you do.
Yen, YES, like what @brianlingg5518 says, : "Your videos are so good. You should stay in Malaysia longer." Come again, there are dozens more of exotic places in East Malaysia on the norther parts of Borneo Island. Plan your Europe return trip by landing in Kota Kinabalu (亚庇市), the capital City of Sabah, which is a Malaysia's state in North Borneo. After visiting the Mount Kinabalu, ( 中国寡妇山, 也称神山)which is the highest peak in South East Asia, then go around Kota Kinabalu's surroundings to finish the Sabah state tour. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE--RhRO9uvVRo.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-jYRyOzEABT0.html Leaving Sabah for Sarawak State by landing at Miri Airport (or go southwards by land via Lawas(sSrawak)/ Temburong (Brunei)/Limbang (Sarawak)/ Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei). From Miri you can go to Sibu (Sarawak0 before you finally leave Borneo to Kuala Lumpur .
This is a real splendid video. I am sure you will treasure such a memorable trip, into the interior. Many of us, who are staying in Kuching, have never set our feet in such places. You are so lucky to see Orang Utans + their nests, in their natural habitat. You made good video and we hope to see you coming back another day. There are still so many places of visitation. Thank you, for promoting Kuching. 🥰😍🤩😘
I really love your trips and enjoy watching it. Because this is your last trip in my country Malaysia. I would like to say thank you to you for visiting my country. I hope you will come back to my country in future. Terima kasih. Sampai jumpa lagi.
Thanks Yan for the wonderful videos of my home state; you are sooo brave to be travelling all alone! You are blessed too, always meeting such kind and accommodating local people. I wish you a safe journey home and I hope you will be safe back in China. Come back again and bring your friends along :)
Yan thank you again for showing this video. The long house has modernised so much now. The last I saw 45 years ago before I migrated it was made with bamboo. The people was as friendly as now. Thank you. Have a safe journey home
Really hope u stay a bit longer as i love every comment u made while vlogging.. U are full of thought with facts, u speak wise mind and love ur characters..
Your videos simply blow my mind. The totally diversity and simply how different some people life their lives compared to how I live and where I live, I just simple am in awe. I hope people will continue to live like this long after I am gone.
👍👍👍great video for an urban Sarawakian like me who has never went deep into the jungles of Sarawak, wish u a safe trip home and not sure which province of China you are returning to, but recent news about China street riots for Covid 19 control are quite worrying and i hope your final trip back home will not be affected by these incidents .....🙏🙏🙏
I am so glad to see this video. I was at Batang Ai in July 2012. The journey up the river is amazing. Before they used diesel generators there so great to see the solar panels. It is an amazing part of the world and your story today was really interesting. Thank you so much. I do love Bornea Malaysia!
The River leading to Batang Ai is Batang Lupar, not the Rajang River. Rajang River is much wider and longer than Batang Lupar. The padi field you saw is not called dry rice field but hill padi field.
Amazing episode ! Whole lot different when you wondering in the jungle with a guide so much information :D, if you like to explore tropical jungle, don’t miss the biggest national park in peninsular Malaysia aka Kuala Tahan when you revisit Malaysia again one day.
Hi Yan welcome to Sarawak. Foreigners seldom venture inland where the true cultures can be experienced. Im a bidayuh(@ land dayak) another ethnic group here in Sarawak. We celebrate Gawai or Harvest festival on 1st and 2nd of June. Whereas the Kadazans and other ethnic groups in Sabah celebrate their harvest festival (Pesta Keamatan) on 31th of May. I hope you do come back to visit us here in Borneo.
'Jakfruit' Artocarpus heterophyllus is native to western ghats of India. I think you will find the favourite fruit of orangutan is 'champedak' A. integer indigenous, delicious, and easy to confuse with Jak. At the Kuching market you ate A. odoratissimus
I had no idea that Malaysia was so beautiful and that there were so many different way people lived there. I had always thought of Singapore when I think of Malaysia. This is such an adventure for me to watch. Eva
The fruit you saw at the entrance of the long house is called Engkalak. Wait till the fruit turns red, remove the cap then soaked in hot water for a few minutes.
Got to compliment you and your team to travel so far and to some wild places to film. Really amazing places, people, climates and cultures. Well done...get rested and be careful about the water you drink.
most of your content are very informative and unique. sad to hear you are leaving Malaysia because there are more places could be explored. never quit the chanel.
Visit Sabah next time. The most beautiful state in Malaysia IMO. Climb Mt Kinabalu. And also to visit Maldives-like island resorts...... It's a stunningly beautiful state.
Of all travel vlog about Malaysia I’ve watched, yours are totally different, that i could attentively watch from start to finish. Very informative, easy to watch and listen. Looking forward to watching your next trip to Malaysia.
Most Sarawakian natives or urban people born in the 1950's or 60s can speak better English than the latest generation today because Sarawak was once under the reign of the British White Rajahs & later colonized by the British who set up schools fr the people; followed by the spread of christianity by the western priest penetrating their influence into the most interior part of the region in Sarawak or Borneo.xx
This place bring me some of my most memorable time when i visited them around 2018, long houses, nature and get to learn about how they live, so precious.. by the way i’m now a Big fan of your video been watching some of your mainland China series. Get some inspiration to travel n vlog like you do, thanks! Malaysian fan
Hello Yan...your contain is impressive and quite neutral..i'm a Sarawakian and i would like to suggest Susung Waterfall at Padawan( our very own Jurasic gem) as it is known for
All Your videos are nice also try Tharu people are indigenous people living in the Terai plains on the border of Nepal and India in the region known as the Tarai. These people continue to live in longhouses which may hold up to 150 people. Their longhouses are built of mud with lattice walls.
