Uninjured, zoro would’ve solo’d arlong park. I think that’s half the reason oda introduced mihawk so early. 1/2 to show just how little the straw hats are and 1/2 to nerf zoro who was super over powered in the East blue
@jacobking962 it's a story home slice. Drastically weaker characters can win fights because the story can be written that way. Oda didn't roll out a balance update to nerf zoro because he'd be too strong. Uninjured zoro would have done the exact same on arlong park because thats how oda wanted the stroy to go

So about Helmeppo’s pet wolf, Soro. In the manga, Zoro straight up unalives Soro. In the anime, they toned it down by having Zoro knock Soro out instead.
My favorite moment of Onepiece is when Arlong is holding Zoro by the throat and making fun of his bandages asking if he tripped over a rock. He then pulls the bandages off and sees the wound Mihawk caused. This shocks Arlong into silence and he can’t believe someone could be standing let alone alive with a wound this severe. He starts to analyze Zoro and comes to the conclusion that Zoro is to grave of a threat if he is allowed to live and he must kill him right here and now.
I feel like the one thing everyone misses with Zoro vs Killer… Killer doesn’t even have HIS weapons, he’s using a totally different type. Imagine if zoro had to fight him using axes instead of swords.

Apparently he displays so much killing intent that other people can feel it. That's why that non haki attack against Monet in Punk Hazard paralysed her. i feel like zoro would have won in whiskey peak beacuse him and luffys power levels were pretty equal but due to luffys weakness of blades and zoro being a swordman that would increase his damage againt luffy so overall zoro would win
That’s not how one piece works. That’s RU-vidrs pushing a toxic power scaling narrative. If Luffy is stronger than Zoro, that means if Luffy loses the entire crew loses too. That’s why Red Hair are the strongest because Shanks isn’t the strongest. Beckman is equally as strong as him. They just have different fighting styles that match up in different battles just like Luffy and Zoro. Which is why Luffy no matter what will always be prone to sword attacks. Luffy and Zoro have always been equal. They just have skills that are better for different opponents.

One sad fate is T-Bone. He was recently killed for his Cross Guild bounty. It’s really sad since he seemed like an actually decent marine who tried his best to protect those around him.
imagine zoro only really started to sleep alot because he just was awake in the dead of the night with bloodlust as his caffeine also 'season 2' had zoro in the picture and really showed more action than the last one which was compelling stories, a setup and much more comedy which fits Luffy's character, he was a setup to the show (well in the manga shanks and the mountain pirate were both also a setup to the manga), he's very comedic and light-hearted and has a compelling story but zoro is more full of action
the arlong park incident made almost feel slightly bad for arlong, and gave me the impression oda was still on the fence as to whether fishmen were people or monsters

Whisky Peak honestly i believe Zorro has an advantage, as Luffy is immune to impact damage, not cutting and i would have liked it in some point of the storry, if Luffy would have seriously thought about this. Stretching your arm to someone with a sword is like presenting it on a cutting board.
